Great show! Melancholy was very entertaining and well performed, musically and artistically. The venue is awesome. Very intimate and comfortable. Really enjoyed the optional, short discussion time after the show with director and actors. Very good.
Great local theater committed to locally produced, high quality work. I love going to this space to see shows. Despite the diversity of content, the quality is always enjoyable!
Came here for a fantastic performance of Mother, Come Home - a multimedia reading of a graphic novel. I hope to come back some time to see another innovative and moving production here.
Saw Jesus Hopped the A Train recently. It is a good play, indeed an arresting play (!) However the theatre is in the round, with padded chairs and little if any sound amplification. Lucius with his resonant voice was always intelligible, and Angel and the sadistic guard projected well enough, but Mary Jane and the nice guard seemed to mumble in the soft places and occasionally they delivered their lines too quietly for me to even guess at the words. Most of the audience was elderly so, yes, hearing loss is a common affliction for many of us. I found this experience at Coho exciting, but also frustrating.
WOW what a night! I spent the evening watching a phenomenal performance of Kiss, the play - not the band. It was a Third Rail Repertory Theater production and I must say, everything about this intimate theater space hit the mark, from the welcoming staff, the ample refreshment choices to the comfort and quality of the performance. Truly a gem in Portlands live theater crown.
Great venue! Id go again
One of the areas best local theaters for local plays by Coho, Third Rail and other local production companies. Small venue, but every seat is a good one. Coho a Production has a 4 Play season, plus their Summer Fest (4 plays in 4 weeks). This is one of our favorite places to take in great local plays. Close to many restaurants and bars on NW 23rd. Parking is very tight, so take the Street Car to NW 23rd & NW Marshall and walk the 5 blocks.
Small and intimate. No bad seats.
An intimate venue hosting a wide variety of productions.
I came to visit multiple shows. I can highly recommend all their performances so far. Tickets are affordable and easy to get for multiple days during the week. Before the show and during intermission, you can buy drinks and snacks.
Interesting play, well acted by Kelly and Chris. We like small theratre so enjoyed the evening. the ply had a strange plot.
Great quality shows with wrap-around seating that allows for a great interactive theatre experience.
Small cozy theatre. Ample lighting and sound, and the proximity to the stage give the feeling of being in the production or having a front row seat.
Some of the best love theater in town. Their collaborative nature has its finger on the arts pulse like no other small organization around!
Really nice small close up theater great place to see a play
They bring in great thought provoking plays. Wide variety of themes. Comedies, dramas. Intimate theatre. They need to upgrade seats!
These guys have consistently good interesting stuff I highly recommend them
Saw a fantastic play in a lovely, close space. Great experience.
Hilarious. Loved it.
I have watched many productions here, and loved every one. Small theater at its best right here in Portland.
I had a fantastic time here. The play was great. Also the staff was extremely kind and Friendly. The confessions were reasonably priced.
An excellent small theater experience with local talent and professional productions. Reservations are recommended, and street parking is available in addition to their small lot.
Fine shows. Definitely would go again.
No parking in the area. Excellent theater though
Nice theater-in-the-horseshoe. Good productions. Take drinks in with you.
Talented cast. No bad seats. Bring drinks into theater.
Some great Portland theatre productions from both Coho and Third Rail.
Thoughtful and intriguing, plays here are always provoking. Small theater with great seats. However, parking, especially on weekends, is a nightmare.
Plays are A M A Z I N G. Always have great actors and actresses, and seating is comfortable, except if you have long legs like I do and your knees stick out but still isnt that bad :)
Great talent and shows
DB was a high quality production. Comfortable theater. Excellent performance.
Great theatre throughout the year. Parking can be tricky.
Great plays to make you think.
Always provocative theater
Not very friendly and littered with bums living on the doorstep.
Liberace and Liza show was great.

Great little community theater
Hard to find parking
Seats are a bit rough, but always had a good experience here
