We drove here from Seattle for my uncles funeral wake only to discover the place was empty and we had followed the wrong Google map directions. Anyway, the person at the reception desk was really snooty / bossy to us. Apparently she was annoyed that we were not members.

Incredibly rich in Portland and golf history. One of the few clubs to have hosted both a PGA championship and a Ryder Cup. Beautiful coarse layout with incredible scenery. A premier private club experience.

Really well looked after and very comfortable pace of play. If you can sidle up next to a member, non-members can good reasonable tee times and play this exclusive course.

One of the most historic golf courses in the United States. It has hosted major tournaments like the PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, and the Fred Meyer Challenge. Golfing greats like Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer roamed through these fairways. And the golf course is just is good, if not better then the history that took place here. Very Traditional, couple of confusing holes. The greens are very undulating and very fast depending on the time of year. Playing at this course is an honor.

The course is extremely well manicured. The fairways excellent and the greens are very true. Mature trees make the course difficult when you drive the ball off the fairway.
