July 2020. There is no beach to speak of, due to high water levels and, as we approached the area there was a large sign warning of poor water quality and advising against swimming.

Great place for amazing lake views from the bluff, sadly the beach itself is gone as of July 2020 (when I wrote this) hopfully the beach will be back soon.

With the Lake high this summer (2019), there is basically no beach, but normally its a great place to walk and swim. There is a grassy area before you get to the beach with nice views, and a staircase to Upper Lake Park, and large rocks all along the pathway from Veterans Park to the beach, which offers uninterrupted views of the Lake.

The views from this beach are delightful, and there are relatively few people on the beach. It feels like my own personal beach whenever I visit. The Pink Floyd rock is also such a fun spectacle to look at

Lovely for swimming but there really is no beach right now due to water levels. I wish I would have read the reviews before I planned on relaxing on the beach!

Very pleasant walking on the bluff. The benches are convenient for a sit-down to view the lake.

This isnt even a beach. You cant lay on any sand here or splash in the water. Its basically just a cliffside with some reeds and water at the base.

The north shore beach is so beautiful and fun. A 6ft person can walk out 50yrds and still touch the ground. The water is clear and the view is beautiful.

The playground at the upper lake Park is huge and wonderful for the kids to play on! Beautiful views of lake Michigan.

North Beach in Port Washington, is beautiful, uncrowned, and serine. I love going there to swim and snorkel in the lake and sunning. It can have rip tides occasionally so check the weather before you go.

Long sandy beach. Not rocky like south beach. I prefer to park above the bluff and walk down to the beach rather than parking over by Veterans Park and walking past all the seagulls. My son now prefers that as well as he had been pooped on by a seagull.
