Staff were welcoming, informative, and truely love the cats. The place is set up as a cat paradise with toys at all levels of height including the ceiling. There was a wide variety of toys to provide stimulation for all cats. Snacks and drinks are available. Nice place to hang out and interact with a variety of personalities of cats. Cats have a safe room as well as high places to go to help alleviate stress. There were more cats than i expected given the space and perhaps this was causing too much stress among the cats as several were hissing and growling at each other or had runny ears or eyes. Perhaps decreasing the number of cats or introducing new cats more slowly would make for an easier transition. Otherwise great place to visit, highly recommend, will be watching out on facebook for upcoming events.

A place to take the family. All are Halifax Humane Society cats that have been fixed, updated shots, chipped and ready for love and a forever home. If you fall in love you can adopt right there. There are Human Snacks too. Dippin Dots and baked cakes and coffee.

A perfect combination: fun and finding homes for cats! LoCATion Cats and Snacks is a lot of fun to visit - you can stop by and visit with cats in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the cats are available for on-the-spot adoption! The owner is personable, funny, and makes everyone feel right at home. Make sure to meet Mama, the sassy cat who became a member of the staff! If you want to adopt a cat, make LoCATion your first stop - their cats are from the Humane Society, and its a lot easier to get to know them and discover their personalities in an open and inviting space.

A paradise for both cats and cat lovers! There are a myriad of female friends for patrons to interact with and if the cats need a break from all the attention, there is a back room for them to escape to so they arent over stressed. The staff is friendly and very informative. Know that food is not a main focus at this establishment but there are vending machines for snacks, drinks, and deserts as well as snacks for the kitties. I highly recommend visiting this establishment!

This place is amazing! Stress reliving as long as annoying children are not present. All the cats are from the Southeast Humane Society and are available for adoption. Great place, good people running it and I will be back here many times.

It was great. They have treats for the cats and human treats!!! Great to love on a cat and have a dessert or two. It was a bit crowded when I went in and there wasnt always a cat available.

Great place to find a cat for adoption or simply play with nearly two dozen cats.They even have a six toed Hemingway cat.

A lot of the cats were super distressed/agitated - there were zero hiding spots for them. Rather than allowing taking them off the floor/giving them a break, the staff just let them be chased around. There was a cat on the floor who the worker said had just gotten out of surgery, but for some reason they thought it was okay for him to be on the floor. The room was super overcrowded. Left after 5 minutes because it was too distressing to watch. Definitely will be emailing the Halifax society after (store advertised them, it did not have business cards.)
