My wife and I, and friends, have been playing for the past 5 years at Kingsgate. We are Snowbirds, so we play other courses also. Kingsgate is woven amongst a beautiful community and a very friendly atmosphere. It boasts a par 60 executive course that has continued to be year after year in very very good condition. It is consistently well maintained and always a pleasure to play.
Fun par 3 course. Friendly staff, too.
I play on a league that charges $38, yet anyone can play by booking online for approximate $30. Why don’t they reward loyal golfers? They changed the happy hour from 3:00 to 4:00 seemingly to avoid regular groups that tee off at 11:00 am, then we were told we had to leave as they had a dinner group coming (this was at 4:20). There were at least twenty empty tables, did not make me feel welcome as a loyal golfer on a league there.
Drove past this morning and noticed this. What are you all trying to do with your lack of flag etiquette ? This has been this way for four (4) days. I dont believe you are unable to get a bucket truck company to fix the issue of the rigging not working properly. If you are unable to display the flag properly, dont display it at all. In America old glory flies above all else all the time. Period!! On a side note that Canadian flag is missing several square feet of cloth as well, you might do well to have a veteran or proud American in charge of such things to avoid this in the future.
The course is in excellent condition and its a challenge to play
Nice course, good pace of play, good price
Good Executive Course, Very Challenging.
We played the back 9. I think they were aerating the greens on the front. Nice course. Only $18 with cart. Guessing the prices will change as the season gets busier. Makes sense.
Also drove 30 miles to get here having flown in from the UK. We were well impressed with this tough little track. It’s a real test of your accuracy and short game. Great greens. Not many bunkers but lots of water. Fairways in lovely condition. There’s a lot of thought gone into the layout given the constrictions of the site and it makes for a lot of interest. Both the pro shop and bar staff were super friendly too. Great, solid, proper handled cooled beer glasses were a personal favourite. Bravo on that!Great value for money in our opinion. We will be back
Its a nice course with friendly people. Even with lots of rain the course has been well maintained. The fairways have a few rough spots but Im sure itll be straightened out after the rain settles. Theres a lot of par 3s but theyre technical enough to be fun and challenging.
Kings Gate did an excellent job on the recent event I attended. The staff always goes above expectations taking care of the kids.Kings Gate has a beautiful entrance which is great for pictures. The room is spacy for a large event and the staff works well with you for specialized menus.I look forward to the next event I will be attending there in December.
Very nice place. Coldwell Banker Sunstar Realty has there Banquet awards there every year. They do a nice job.
Really nice Executive course. Greens are in good shape and it provides a challenge for your iron shots.
Food was very good service was slow not severe fault under staff
Great, short course to make a fun work-play day out of. We come here sometimes as an office to celebrate hitting goals and just do a little team-building.
Loved it. The food is tremendous
If youre wanting to work on your short game. This is a place to do that. One negative. The 4th hole is blind with its trees to close to the box.
Visited friends!!This place is ahhhhhh-mazing
Cute little course, Great rates in the afternoon during the summer. The pro shop is always helpful and don’t be surprised if you get a “special rate” on something they are always cutting me some special deal! I’m always here Monday’s and Thursday’s, if you see me say hi I’ll be the one traipsing though the woods looking for my ball ;)
Nice little golf course for a great price
Great fun playing 9 holes with my grandson Coen. Yeah he whooped me like dawg
Great little coarse highly recommend
Love this golf coarse. Its a fun day and you do encounter quite a few obstacles on the greens. They are very undulating!
Course was in good shape and no waiting
The Venue is very nice! The sound there is good for a talk or a meeting but not for music, if you are going for music I would suggest bring your own speakers.I havent been there just to have dinner so I dont know how that is. But over all a nice clean place!Ive got to golf there one time also! Years ago but it was a nice time.
We were having a wonderful round until the Ranger came to chase us off the course (very rudely) 25 minutes before closing time. We would have finished in plenty of time had the foursome in front of us been pushed along by the same ranger instead of taking 10 to 15 minutes per hole. Summer is coming, rates are going down, and I will not be returning to Kings Gate any time soon!
Fun executive style course. Very reasonable prices.
Very disappointed not much of a golf course. Par 60 with 12 par 3s. Drove for an hour to get to the course. Would have been better to just go to a putt putt.
Well kept property. Nice clubhouse.
Enjoyed this course with friends. May go again.
Large open room for craft show
Overall satisfied. Clean, well organized, friendly service.... a few little kinks should be managed within the employees and their personnel though.
Roca Granite and cabinets we love to service at Kings gate
Dont know just pass it during my. Day
Friendly folks. Nice short course. Not much shade.
Even with the green recently being aerated this course was very nice. Fun to play for experienced and beginner players. The customer service was also top notch.
Nice place for a wedding or big party.
Lions Den Restaurant DEFINITELY NOT ON PAR. Just returned home from having dinner at Kings Gate Golf Club. We had hope when arriving as they had a good amount of people eating tonight. However, every serving staff person was also hosting as people entered the restaurant making the room feel a bit frantic.Salad was a tasteless serving of cheap lettuce and dried up, shredded carrot from a bag with two cherry tomatoes. Then waited 30 minutes for our meals to arrive My husbands Friday night fish special was absolutely horrible. Not fresh (like the sign as you drive in, states it is), but lousy tasting battered hunks of almost rancid tasting fish. My Brushetta Chicken Breast with Linguini was a pre-cooked (tough/chewy) chicken breast with a thick slab of mozzeralla cheese melted on top of pasta covered with an acidy (tomato paste) sauce with chopped green peppers under chicken. Rolls were tough and tasteless. We werent charged for the meals, however its not that difficult to serve fresh, delicious food to customers, and it is definitely not worth the money a restaurant saves by buying inferior products. Shame on you Lions Den Manager for serving this pathetic food to paying customers.
Fun coarse to play. Fairways need work. Greens ok. Lions Den very good for lunch
Good price for golfing
Great food and had great server (Heather). Will definitely go back if she is working.
Executive course. Fantastic condition
Course in good shape. Price was right.
We called ahead for reservations and asked if we could eat out on their screened lanai. Two of us had their filet mignon and one had their all-can-eat fish fry plus drinks. Great value. The filets were perfect with steamed vegetables. We love this place which is generally not busy for dinner. However, BE SURE TO CALL AHEAD. Sometimes they have groups come in. So, occasionally, they are busy. Just call and ask. Have fun!
Nice course, great practice for the short game! Friendly staff.
Nice pretty clean people friendly nice pool
We got married here in 2016 and the service and food were both amazing.
