Beautiful park. Not dog friendly. There is a “dog friendly” area that is on an old road away from the beauty of the lake. I intentionally stopped here to get some exercise while my dog and I were on a road trip and was very surprised. I’ve never been to a park where dogs were restricted in most areas. Again—there is a dog friendly part. But you have to look for it. Hope this helps others in a similar position.

Tom Triplett Park is a very nice place with a park for the kids and a big lake with a walking path. Theres also tennis courts and picnic areas throughout the park. You can also fish in the lake and they have a great spot you can rent for birthday parties and get togethers. Its a better place to take a jog or spend time with your friends and family. The bathrooms and common areas are very clean. Cory, who is the park manager does a great job! Hes helpful and very friendly. Lastly they have a full frisbee golf course. I recommend coming here if you like being outside and having fun.

Such a clean and beautiful place to get a breath of fresh air. Wonderful with kids, friends, or solo. I do wish they were dog friendly.

A nice 2000 meter oval shaped lake walk or jog. Plenty of tables and pavilion to accommodate large groups. Quiet and friendly, also seen a city security vehicle patrolling the lake. The distance around lake a bit short for my needs.

Disc golf course is nice to wrap around the lake and through the woods. Multiple teepads for every hole. Everything seems pretty well maintained.

The park is pretty big and has some decent places to walk. Not exactly dog friendly. Also one of the only places to have disk golf. The important thing to me is the mountain bike trails. They have some decent trails, but only about 2 of them are well marked. We got lost at least 3 times because of the poor trail markers and confusing routes. The cut part of the trails are very hard to see as pine straw covers everything. No clue if the trails are well maintained or not. Overall only a good place for people looking to go mountain biking if its their only option. I recommend Whitmarsh Preserve and Moon River over this park any day.

The natural beauty here is great. Between the track around the gorgeous lake, the forested playground or the frisbee golf course, this park offers a wide variety of outdoor enjoyment. I enjoy exercising here and taking in the scenic serenity of the wildlife as well.

Cant seem to stay away from my favorite park! Enjoy walking or running around the pond and seeing the beautiful geese and turtles. They do enjoy bread but bird seed better. My most favorite activity is walking the bike trails in the woods. Quiet and peaceful with only the birds to serenade you. Well, if you want to enjoy nature and get some exercise then stop by this park and you wont regret it!!

Nice landscaping, pretty lake and trail to walk around. Lots of benchs. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Playground. Frisbee golf.

Nice Quiet Peaceful! What more can I say! You can or jog on the track! You can do exercise or feed the ducks! Everyone at the park is so friendly! I recommend anybody coming to Pooler need to check this park out! And it has history behind it. Or grill out like me

It was very pretty and open. Its a nice place to work out, walk your dog, or take a relaxing walk for yourself. They also have pokestops for fellow gamers so thats a big plus

Beautiful place but when Google says its dog friendly, it isnt really.

I like the property. Its going through some updates right now throughout the park. The new boat ramp area looks like it will be nice. Not sure what the new area of construction behind it is going to be. Its close to the highway but its still pretty quiet.

I love going to this park and taking my son here. The playground is awesome and the walking path is great! Hoping to one day try luck at fishing here. One of the few places I know that have dirt bike trails! Cant get enough of one of the few places in Pooler now that sill has a lot of trees and nature around it.

Nice park with a lot of work currently being done. You can not walk your dog anywhere but a dog exercise area that is an old paved access road.

My family loves this park! With a large beautiful lake as the center of attention this park has everything you could want for an amazing day outdoors! They have nice decks for fishing, grills & picnic tables for cook outs and a nice playground with plenty nearby benches and awnings to relax on while the children play! While I didnt think the playground itself was anything special you wont hear your child complain when theres so much to be explored! There are several picture perfect spots to be discovered and its all surrounded by some very spacious woods! Tom Triplet Park in Pooler is definitely worth checking out!

Perfect scenery and room for all types of outdoor activities. It is always clean and usually quiet with restrooms and plenty of parking. The ducks are an added plus! They also have disk golf tournaments here!

Visitor from Ohio. Took the kids to shake of some car rust and burn some energy. We all looked for the gator, but saw about 50 turtles instead. A very nice suburban park.

Could cut grass at the banks for people to fish easily. Would have given more. If not dor this.

I always enjoy a calming walk around the lake there. Wish they had couple of more tennis courts. They only have 2. Small park for childrens to play too. We go there almost 3 to 4 times a week.

The track around the lake is a gorgeous place to run when its not under construction. But the dog exercise area is sad. Its just a torn up asphalt trail that leads to a small wooded area.

Decent park, I have been here mutliple times for different things, the childrens playground is ok, very basic. I am not a huge fan of the dog exercise area, it is all on blacktop and not very exciting Blacktop will burn my dogs pads in seconds, there is nice trails around the park loop but dogs are not allowed there which is odd because I have never seen people walk them, I bet if dogs were allowed there would be more people here. Good loop trail for walking/running and the wildlife is nice. Small improvements would make this park better.

Best free disc golf course! Its got a great layout and the holes are a mixture of woods and open areas.

I love this park! Its very pretty and for me, since Im disabled, the most important part is that its handicap accessible because of its paved trails that are pretty well maintained. Also, the large trees along the trail give you very nice, comfortable, cool shade as youre walking (well, my fiance was walking, I was in my wheelchair! Lol!). It has a very large lake where you can fish too, the thing is, there are signs warning that theres an alligator in the lake (but were in Ga. So of course! Lol!) so, I would just be extra careful if you bring little kids or dogs. Though we never saw the alligator and we walked about halfway around the park. So, I think youll be fine.

It was ok. Free parking. Shallow lake with a few ducks. Never found the 6mile bike trail that I came for. There were also no trail maps available. Some litter around the make 1.3 mile loop. Great for freesbie players and tennis enthusiast.

This is a great place for a run, walk, or to take your children to the playground! It is a very peaceful atmosphere that is usually busy enough that you dont feel isolated but still have room for peace and quiet!

This park is a nice little getaway from the hustle of day to day life. There is a playground for the kids, a pond/lake, frisbee golf, places to picnic, and tennis courts.

I really enjoyed this park. It was fun, open late and had a lot of hiding space. I cant imagine having a better afternoon. So if u need some space please go visit this place and find out what your made of. Also I need some more words on this to get more points to up on points so I am going to ramble on about points. Points are good for your health. One time I got my leg choped of and I got some points and my leg grew back.

This is a very nice community parkon the northwest side of Savannah. It features a large lake, community center and miles of hiking and walking trails. There is a challenging disc golf course and at the back of the park are the ruins of a lock on the old Savannah/Ogeechee canal

It was wonderful! Peaceful and quiet!

I love this park. Its not huge, but theres so much to do. The walking path is great and there is always a great picnic spot. Theres tennis courts, a frisbee golf course, biking paths and a kids area.

Peaceful environment, safe for children, and clean pavilion and bathrooms. Perfect place for a walk or a gathering.

Really nice place if you love walking/hiking. When we would come here we brought 5 children with us. Very interesting areas and if you would prefer not to walk the trails there is a paved area all the way around the small lake there. Extremely nice area.

Needs upgraded playground equipment and cleaner area where playground is located, remove that dirt, but great park, amazing view. Love nature and wildlife. Seen snakes, bats, and other wildlife which is amazing.

I ran along side of pond for jogging in this morning. Quite and very peaceful. Nothing to mention.... just regular community park.

Great park. Well maintained, great walking path. Fitness stations and bathrooms. Disc golf is great with cement pads on all levels, some long baskets, many wooded. Worth the visit.

Decent place to jog. Even with the lake, the mosquitos werent bad. 1.33 miles around.

Nicely maintained and good facility here. Got to see several crane and egret, lots of ducks. Great walking path.
