Parque La Guancha

This is a very cute place, but since you cant use the boardwalk due to major disrepair, it is a skippable destination. If you are visiting Ponce, then sure stop by. Its cute and if youre hungry, then stop by one of the many restaurants. They all have about the same menu though.

Awesome place to take your kids to go hermit crab gathering, or walk the beach looking for sea shells and coral bits. Alot it sea grass growth late in the summer months making wading out deeper a very tricky experience. Had fun here nonetheless and will be coming back.

Boardwalk still broken after hurricane Maria bit still a great place to visit.

Hurricane Maria may have beat this little park up, but the charm of the Restaurants, people and atmosphere I still alive!

Its a nice place to spend a day with friends and family, especially during day hours. Theres shade under the trees, tables and even trash cans, so please, use them and dont throw your trash on the beach. Usually youll see some security or police officers around, but anyways be careful with your belongings. At nights it can be very dark in some areas, once again the advice is be careful.
