Beautiful! A great place to spend the day with family and friends. Bring lots of sun block, no umbrellas or chairs allowed. The price is $81 plus chairs are another $11. You take a boat off the “Guancha” in Ponce. The staff is great and very friendly. The lunch, snacks and beverages are very tasty. A plus when you visit PR.

It is an absolutely amazing beach. The crew at Island Ventures were super friendly. Highly recommend snorkeling; saw a stingray, urchins, angel fish, and many more. Beaches were a bit rocky after Hurricane Maria, but otherwise a great time. Make sure you bring sunscreen!! ️️

This is a very nice Island off from the main land, one of the many small islands close to PR. This one is by Ponce. You can catch the ferry from La Guancha in Ponce.This is a must visit location, I highly recommend this place to anyone. If your ok with a walk to see a breath taking view, then take the hike to El Faro/Light House. About 1/2 hour walk to and 1/2 hour back. Please go early in the day and with proper foot wear, not flip flops/slippers. Take a water bottle and a small wet towel because on hot days, youll need it. Also wear a hat, it helps out somewhat. Dont forget phone or camera to take pictures.

One of my favorites spots on the island, you can take a ferry from la guancha, and stay all day at the island. Bring food and drinks, there isn’t any stores.

This a great location accessible only by boat. The beach is crystal clear and filed with wildlife. Bring all the necessities as nothing is sold or provided at this location. Some boat tours are offered from Ponce.

Beautiful island that could use some help getting cleaned up. Maria did some damage and theres quite a bit of debris and defunct buildings. But the water is crystal and the sand was white. Brilliant!

Beautiful beach with a small museum. Other than a walk to the light house theres nothing to do.

Beautiful beach because its secluded but the beach flies are a pain. Theyre similar to horse flies and the little s@$!# land on you to keep out of the wind and then bite you. My suggestion would be to stay in the water as much as possible or wear the long sleeve rash guard shirts that the boat crew wears. Water looks very clear but was actually cloudy when using a mask. Saw some large fish amd small rays but nothing overly interesting. Its a good beach for simply drinking and relaxing.

Love this island. If you have a boat or know someone with a boat, you have to go. Always a good time. Make sure you check the weather and also check for any box jellyfish swarm warnings.

Absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately Maria did some major damage. Still enjoyed every moment on the island thanks to Island Venture for getting us there safely and taking care of us for the day!

Beautiful island off Ponce, Puerto Rico that is protected as a nature reserve. The beach is amazing. Great for spending a relaxed day under the sun. There are trails on the island and a snorkeling trail as well under the water. The number of persons allowed to go to Caja de Muerto each day is restricted so you have to make a reservation with time.

Its overpriced, the smell was nasty the island was dirty there was nothing to see. They leave you to swim ashore in deep water. We were bit by jellyfishes. The chair you rent are broken the umbrellas are broken and they still charge you.

Its a small island that is way worth the visit. If you wanna walk a trail for a bit before hitting the beach then this is the spot for you. The beach is just like what you see in your dreams. The problem is leaving and returning to your everyday existence.
