Very well maintained park. Nice disc golf course. Beautiful scenery with big lake in the middle and a variety of wild life. Plenty of space for family gatherings. Walking paths for running and walking for those in look of a work out. Docks around the lake for sight seeing and fishing.

Wonderfully maintained park with many picnic areas, a disc golf course and childrens play areas all surrounding a lovely lake - you can even fish there!They also just repaired the fountain to add to the overall pleasant ambiance.Even the maintenance staff people are friendly and helpful too.Note there is an entrance fee on weekends and holidays ($1.50 per person) though you can purchase an annual family pass good at ALL Broward county parks.Picnic areas can be rented and thats recommended for weekend parties.Otherwise plenty of parking and a nice respite just off of Peters road!

Nice Park. Frisbee Golf Course, decent lake for Bass fishing. Caught 6 in about an hour. Nothing big but still fun. There was no one at the guard gate so guessing for the time being they are not charging entrance fee. Was fairly busy with families fishing to couples picnicking lakeside with wine and charcuterie platter... Definitely a cute neighborhood park.

A nice park with a complete 18 hole Disk Golf for all you frisbee freaks . Lots of burrowing owl nests, woodpeckers, Egyptian geese, etc.. the lake is stocked with Catfish with a 6 fish limit and Sunnys and other panfish with a 20 catch limit so yeah theres fish. Along with that the restrictions are enforced. Pavilions are closed etc.. but still a nice place to catch lunch if you work out of your truck or just a good walk around the lake

We havent really been to the park except to enjoy the Food Trucks on Tuesdays. What an incredibly awesome event!!! The selection of food trucks is amazing, there is something for everyone to enjoy, from snacks to entire meals. The atmosphere is wonderful, with music, games and even an outdoor movie showing. There are plenty of garbage cans scattered throughout and some seating, or just bring your own chairs and blankets for comfort. We love coming here for a fun casual night out and definitely appreciate the free event.

I was sad when the demolished the Forrest area, I would go to this park as a kid so really i was sade bed due to nostalgia and sentimental feelings. The park is going through various additions so some areas are under construction. But, one treenin the center and the fountain makes this a quick go to spot for family photo shoots.

Beautiful well kept park. We frequent here about every other week. This particular 4 star rating is with respects to the event rental. We rented shelter 4 right next to the big playground. Was absolutely great! The reason for the missing star is because we had this grounds keeper keep coming over to ask me for a deposit at the office. I made my reservation online and paid for my shelter via their website. I think it is so thoughtless to not keep the same card on file for a deposit. It was a little embarrassing and frustrating having someone request a deposit while trying to host 20 kids and 20 adults. All in all, my Husband split off and took care of it at the office and our daughter enjoyed her first big birthday celebration for her 4th birthday. Definitely add in on the reservation process to hold deposit there is my only piece of advise.

Great park. Plenty of clean pavilions and playgrounds. Also have frisbee golf course. Great place for taking photos or just relaxing. Love going here to walk and clear my mind. Plenty of parking near playgrounds and pavilions. Also don’t forget food trucks on Tuesday evenings!

I didnt get to explore every aspect of the park but from what I saw it is an extremely peaceful and very well maintained space large enough for people not to be on top of each other. It is pretty empty due to the pandemic but I wondered if there would be adequate parking for regular weekend activities.

Another great and convenient place to spend weekend with your family and friends. Bike trails are here as well. $1.5 per person for parking. Turtles are live in the lake here

Went to the Plantation Heritage Park for the Scottish Highland Games. It was very interesting and educational learning about the Scottish culture. This park is great for working out. I walked around it two times and I felt great after. Its pet friendly as well so me and my dog have a great time out there

This park use to have a lot of tall green trees. Now its just bare with twigs here and there! The small body of water looks like blue raspberry Koolaid. You can find some wildlife, most probably moved out when they cut the tall trees.

Im very pleased with this park, is big, clean it has a lake, I think it needs more trees. We celebrated a birthday party.

The park is pretty nice and beautiful. They even have a freebies golf course. For fisherman -- I didnt catch anything. The water was pretty shallow and with some algie. The park ranger told me to go the north side of the lake. Thats where the deepest part of the lake is. Also, for catfish and other fish throw right between the pillon (AKA feeding station).Update 1. Went targeting catfish. Caught 7 small ones in about a hour and a half. Used worms.

This park is amazing lots of space, good trails, playgrounds, and pavilions for parties and totally free.

I like to go to Heritage Park on Tuesday evenings because they have the food trucks there. I havent been there for a long time and did not know what I was missing out on. On Tuesday evenings they have movies for kids the plantations are full of people eating and enjoying each others company. There are even dogs on leashes children of all ages hey. Dont miss out every Tuesday evening its called family fun night at Heritage Park off of Peters Road and Fig Tree Lane. A great local County Park.

Great place for group events like birthday parties and family picnics. This is my second time using this park for an event. Most pavilions are close to trees and provide great shade. For kid birthday parties there is lots of space for a bounce house and for kids to run around.

Beautiful Park, good wind, clean and kept and the walking paths are great too. Multiple parkings throughout the park so you can park in the area you want to spend your time in. Food trucks on Tuesdays are very varied. I took my little Lucy for a walk and she saw the ducks for the first time. She got spooked at the food trucks but thats understandable.

I walk here in the mornings, sometimes with my husband, and this park is very well kept, clean and safe. I commend the management and crew for their efforts and continuous hard work. You all deserve medals.

Great urban park. Lots of pavilions as well as open spaces. There is a great meeting room overlooking the lake. Great for walkers.

Awesome, clean, and overall fantastic place for family gatherings, baby showers, and any event! Theres an indoor banquet hall that you can rent if you need to for any additional functions. I threw a baby shower event here and it was awesome!

I love this park. The layout is beautiful. The scenery and they have food trucks that park there and make money. I love the lake and how natural the park is as well. I even love the winding road i drive to get through the park to the exit. This park is Very safe for kids and pets. I love it for a picknick for two or family day where everyone can enjoy themselves at a beautiful park experience. I believe one of the trucks have ice cream. I Must try this one day.

If you want to be quite this is a good place, is enough to enjoy a weekend doing a picnic. Is small park. You have space to enjoy with kids in playground or with your partner. There are enough parking. In the week is free and weekend you have to pay $1.5 pp. the shelter’s price you can see it in the website is the same for all broward park.

Love this park. Well maintained and pleasant staff. The disc golf course is one of my favorite in Broward County. Great place for family get togethers or for casual walks. Lots of Egyptian geese and there is a pair of swans to be seen..and heard

Every Tuesday from 1730 to 2100 food trucks from different backgrounds offer fresh food to the public.Prices arent too cheap (I must say) but the food tastes great.The environment is very family like. Kids running all over the place. Families bring their pets and there is even a movie type of set up for viewers of all ages.I recommend this park for everyone, specially parents that look for an outdoor activity in a healthy environment.**Bathrooms are kept clean****entrance is free of charge** (at least on Tuesday around the abovementioned)

Great open spaces, lots of pavilions, and a few playground areas. Not to mention a wooded walking trail in the back, fruit trees, a big lake for fishing, disc golf course, etc. Only thing it lacks is mountain bike trails!

Beautifully kept grounds makes this park relaxing and easy to enjoy your day. They have disc golf, and the Scottish fest, which is amazing! The bathrooms have always been kept very clean and I appreciate that the most.

I love this park so peaceful and has nice spots to sit at and look over park and lake around.

It is a nice park, I would of gave it 5 stars, but they bumped my daughter to the front pavilion because the closed the park due to the Hurricane the weekend of my Granddaughters 3rd Birthday. The one she picked had the playground and bathrooms next to the pavilion.. but we managed but Im still disappointed that they could not give us the one she wanted..so 4 stars it is..

Ok the first time I went here is was for a 4th of July church BBQ. It was fun wide open area play ground for the kids etc and bathroom close by depending on your booth honestly. Just keep in mind that not every booth have a walking distance bathroom or play ground so if you are renting a booth please ask for one near a bathroom and playground. Other than that good for baby showers, birthday parties and just a little chill spot for the families. Yes there is a few to go in.

Beautiful park with affordable shelters for rent!! To rent is pretty simple!! Comes with water, grill and trash cans. We rented it out for my Wife’s 30th Field day Birthday party and it was a great success!! Easy to find, great parking and let’s just say everyone had a blast!! We will definitely be renting again!! Staff was also very nice and helpful.

Absolutely love this park! Very big multiple play grounds. Awesome place to take the family to have picnics, or just to be active. During the week its free and on the weekends you pay. They provide paddle boating as well.

We love this park. Great for all ages. Plenty of Pavilions for grilling or just eating your sandwich. Playgrounds for kids, horse shoe pits - bring your own horse shoes.

This is a beautiful family park. Its a great place to host family reunions and baby showers in my opinion :-) The park is very clean. Theres nice scenery, play area for the kids, and covered areas to dine if you decide to do an outdoor get together under the gazebo.

They took the covers off of the playground so it gets hot very quickly from the kids.

The park was clean, and peaceful. From the shelter I was able to see the kid on the play grounds.

I love taking walks at this park. Its always clean and well maintained. They have plenty of pavilions to rent for parties and family get togethers.

The fishing is good, lots of largemouth bass. There are also two playgrounds and lots of places to have a picnic. Tuesday night is when the park is full of food trucksThere is also a nature trail in the back of the park

Nice neighborhood park. Good for dog walking(keep em on a leash). Playgrounds for the young uns. Fishing and paddle boats. And if you have an eye for it a few fruit trees scattered around.
