Easy to get to, parking is perfect in the town hall lot! Free! Very clean, well manicured lawns! The pathway has a history of Plainfield and the area written so as you walk along you learn out the town! Also monuments thanking vets! Beautiful pond people can fish in and great photos for prom or anything on the bridge! There is a restaurant across the street too.

Very proud of this beautiful park. Wish town would purchase the lot next to it which is up for sale. They could expand to the corner.

Been living in Plainfield for 20 years and today was my first time here . Very peaceful and calm.

Great small park and never too busy that people will get in your way around the trail. This park is my absolute go-to for Pokemon-Go community days. There are 4 Pokegyms just in the main circle alone, and probably 15+ Pokestops on the entire park. This spot is also good to loop in with downtown plainfield when hitting stops and gyms on community days. There are a lot of geese that poop on a certain part of the track though, which is unfortunate but birds gonna do bird things.

Fantastic for biking, walking, or even swimming if youre a fish... nice spot for pictures too. PS if youre looking for something to do with the kids they have an incorporated book with paged scattered around

Beautiful landscape with a variety of colorful flowers surrounding twin water features. Summer fountain. Summer restrooms. Large open fields, bike paths through a wooded trail. Toddler play equipment in shaded area. Historical info embedded in brick walkways.

Great place to fish in the summer. If you hunt pokemon this is also the best place for that.

This park is great for me and my little baby.Close to the woods, peaceful place, the kids playground is perfect.We love the swings very much.The trail is pretty long, you can get a good morning run or walk, great location and plenty of parking spaces.

Great park that is well maintained. My only wish is that the band shell would be utilized more often. Local organizations could be doing more live events here, as it is a fantastic civic space

Amazing park with a lot of amenities. The gazebos are nice. The water fountains have a dog bowl for your pets. So great to have a place that feels like the middle of nowhere so close to downtown Plainfield.

It was my 1st time walking the whole park and area and was very nice..Busy with parents and kids for FOL STORYTIME Grand Reveal and we had a Fabulous time..Will be back often on the weekends!!

Busy on a Sunday after at 80 degrees. About a mile and a half walk, paved. Does have some grassy walkways behind the playground.

Settlers is a beautiful well manicured park that is very informative of Plainfields history. A walking trail with many good areas for picture taking during a special event is popular here. I even see people fishing in the pond and along the banks of the DuPage River.

Nice walk with the wife and dog. Amet some friendly people and a concert from School of Rock students for more entertainment.

Great place to go and play pokemon go if thats your sort of thing. Lots of PokeStops and gyms. It also has a very nice trail.

Real nice, spacious and clean

Great park next to downtown with lakes, a playground, picnic areas and paved paths. It also extends much further south than most people realize.

The beautiful history of this park is why I go back every other chance I get. The bridge is my favorite, you can feel the mist of the fountain on your face, like a refreshing, cool, soft mist.

Great place for Pokemon hunting. Had a blast here one evening. With 2 eggs i easily leveled up 2 levels in 1 hour. There were a lot of mosquitos though.

Nicely maintained park with a good figure 8 walking path. Facilities at the north end of the park by the parking at Village Hall makes for a good place to start you visit.
