I dont dislike or like this place I would say average if you want the fish great if you want to swim not-so-great if you want to hunt great if you want to put your boat in the water also great does lots of places to fish either from Shore or boat

This is a great place to escape! We have fun fishing, enjoying the campfires and just spending quiet family time. The beach area is great for families and there are many opposed throughout the year to participate in shooting, hunting and fishing events. The club sponsors several yearly live entertainment events (parties) that are fun and lively as well

I spent two nights here as a guest of a member. Personally, the cost associated with it is quite out of my league, so its that inaccessibility that prevents me from giving it a better rating.I was able to get a good nights sleep in my tent, since the weather was co-operative, and the mosquitoes werent awful. Like other private campgrounds, there were members who has set up their campers as semi-permanent vacation homes with outdoor TV setups and the like.There is a rough-hewn playground with a slide going into the water for the kiddos, a pavilion for functions, a shooting range for archery and firearms, and quite a few docks to fish from. Porto-pottys make the facilities, so pack accordingly.My major beef is given the private nature of the campgrounds, there is little they can do about the highway noise, and the gunfire from the nearby gun clubs (which are active during the day). I dont think this matters to much to the members, as they all seem to have their campers set up, plugged in, and well-sheltered. For someone camping in a tent, it might be bothersome.As a recreation club goes, I suppose its fine, and I really dont shop around for private clubs, so I cant comment on the value (I suppose $1600 for a first-year due to register a camper site is reasonable) Three stars isnt bad, but with the background noise, of I were in the market for a recreation club, I would shop around before making a decision.

I enjoyed the 3-D archery range they had breakfast and hot sandwiches for lunch. The course fee was only $10.00 and half price the next day. It was challenging and realistic I will go again when they have another public shoot.

Might be more interested in joining this private club if they didnt rush us out so fast after our 3D shoot.

One of my favorite places in the whole wide world! Friendly people, good fishing, a relaxing place to getaway and also to have some family fun!
