Lovely little park with walking path around oxbow pond and along creek with loads of shipping stones some fossils. I was there in fall, too cold for salamanders to be out but the leaves made up for it and no one else was there. Peaceful. Many virtually tame deer.

Very pretty area but more like a nature walk than a park. There is round about parking and trails. Trails are well marked. Very relaxing stream runs by one of the paths. The only thing that could make it better is park benches along the path.

Well maintained, good for walking or running, stream for skipping stones. No pets allowed.

Pretty trail that circles a large vernal pool. You can see the bricks that were laid down before the area was donated upon the discovery of Spotted Salamanders that migrated here in the hundreds during the early spring rainy season. They can still be seen on rainy nights in the early spring, especially the first rainy nights of the season. Thousands of Spotted Salamanders will congress in the pool and nearby, along with frogs that also use the pool to mate and lay their eggs, namely Wood Frogs and Spring Peepers.In the fall, Marbled Salamanders are present in the muddy areas where the pool has evaporated. They are laying their eggs early to get a head start before the Spotted Salamander army arrives and eats them all. Please be considerate and gentle if you happen upon these creatures. They’re harmless and they depend upon this body of water alone to breed.

Peaceful grass trail, takes about 15-20 to walk the loop. Very flat well maintained trail.

Super serene lil park and perfect to hammock by the creek.

This park doesn’t allow dogs!!! Which is ridiculous. So when you look up Dog Parks in Fox chapel I guess you have to do your own research
