Drove all the way from Cleveland to take advantage of the Sports betting because Cleveland sucks to much to have one. The way things are set up are fantastic. Only flaw is that food and beers arent being served in that area.

I work midnights. I have Monday and Tuesday off. I would like to gamble at the Rivers, but on my free time the casino is not open. Oh well they lose and I will quit going to the casino! I guess being a responsible adult has its advantages. I have had multiple good experiences here. I have not been able to enjoy a good experience at the RIVERs in the last 6 months.

Current wait time is 3+ days to get money out of online account. They do this in hopes you cancel the request and keep playing. Other casinos payout much faster.

People do not social distance, and when you say something, you get attitude. The machines are super tight. How do you get 1.50-2.00 on a bonus when playing max bet? Also you can play a machine for hours and nothinghappens, someone sits there as soon as you get up, and the machine plays and pays better for them. Machines plays differentlyfor different people. Its criminal.

Its not the best casino around, but it is a nice place to visit from time to time. I must say that the pandemic had a lot to do with my comments.

1st time to Rivers or casino ever, left 10 minutes after walking in. $100 minimums for no limit poker, video slots and games that I dont play, and I did not see the ability to bet live action games while in casino. Highly dissapointed but covid protocols also played a factor. I wont be back to rivera for sure

Pre Covid experiences but nonetheless figured I’d chime in because I had a great time, maybe some beginners luck at the slots helped me not just outright lose my money quickly. Time-wise I did spend probably a total of 10 or 12 hours combined over the three different trips I took to Pittsburgh, and I never felt like there was a moment where I wasn’t satisfied. The place is great looking, some casinos get disorienting where it almost feels like you don’t know what part of the building you came from and what you haven’t seen yet, Rivers was very comfortable, though. The guests there were nice, as I said the slot machines weren’t greedy feeling to me at all, and the drinks weren’t as expensive as I expected. Don’t let people’s low reviews because of their personal experience about covid issues dissuade you, really. OF COURSE if you feel like it might be concern, DEFINITELY stay out of there, it’s a casino! But if you think it’s not going to be that busy and you aren’t in an uncomfortable situation, be diligent with the hand sanitizer, don’t touch your face, and go have fun there.

I am a slots player. I used to frequent Rivers Casino all of the time. I stopped in the other day just to see what it was like in there and to push a few buttons. Even though I can see that they did their best by putting out hand sanitizers and wipes everywhere, I personally cant get over the fact that it seems like the place is just right for the transmission of germs i.e. COVID. Its not their fault, but the number of surfaces that you have to touch to play coupled with the number of people that you a pass casually walking from place to place its just uncomfortable for me. I even tried their online version of slots and was not particularly impressed. It is just not the same. Until this virus is under control, Im afraid I will be staying away.

It was OKAY. Machines overall seemed pretty cold. The 5 cent machines seemed a bit warmer. $200 was the the biggest single hit throughout the day. Other than that it was $15 here $6 there and $40 somewhat consistently max betting on average $5 per spin...

I have been here a couple of times since Covid 19 hit. I was a little disappointed that since the concession stand was closed that they didnt have either cans or bottles of pop so you have something to drink especially if you are there a few hours. I was happy having a good time and not going home broke thanks to a good slot machine. Very friendly and helpful workers and I will be back when I have a little money to spend.

The rivers casino doesn’t care about social distancing. There was a row of 4 machine with 2 chairs however a woman decided to sit next to me. I’m 70 years old and don’t want to get COVID and possibly DIE. I should know better and see how the rivers is not caring about their customers only their money. I also noticed people playing all 3 machines in a bank of 3 machines. I guess the people are Trump supporters and just don’t get it. People who work at the casino should stop the madness. The Rivers brag about all the sanitizing stations and the wipes located all around the casino but do nothing about social distancing. The Rivers deserves 0 stars. The Meadows shuts off machines to make sure people social distance. BRAVO for the Meadows Casino a 5 star casino. They CARE

Great time only issue is I spent my first forty five minutes searching for somewhere to get a drink to no avail when I finally get directed to flipt which gave the awesome choice of beer or three kinds of wine... When attempting to order a glass of wine in told I have to purchase a protein as well... I just walked away.... But slots were fun it was my hubbys first time so it was exciting for him

I have a blast every time that I go to the rivers. the machines, the ambience. all of the features that the casino has to offer.

Nice clean place. The machines were hitting really good. We only stayed 30 minutes because they weren’t selling alcohol unless you were sitting down eating in the restaurant. We were in from Youngstown to celebrate a birthday and wanted to party.

There is no temperature monitoring, almost all games were on and working, with limited barriers. The elevators were over packed. I left casino after 10 minutes because of the genuine disregard of the COVID19

Its close just across town and Im on the bus and the machines hit in the afternoon & night the food is good also and the Staff is always ready to help you

Very unique style and layout for a casino, nice size with a good view of the River and Incline. Really gives you a good feel of that ‘Pittsburgh energy/vibe.” Very crowded on Saturday night (only went 1 time on Sat.) bartenders are very friendly and seem to work very hard with such a huge amount of customers waiting to be served. Drinks are a little high priced though. Lastly, parking is simple and easy..so don’t worry about that in the tightly squeezed north shore (they have a parking garage with valet available as well).

They force you to wear a mask, even if you have a medical issue that prevents you from being able to breathe properly with one on. It made it a miserable experience to be there. The only reason I put up with it was it was my wifes birthday and that is where she wanted to go .

Been coming to rivers for years and this past visit was the first time since COVID-19. It was a free for all. Lots of people not wearing masks correctly. Not too many dividers on slots probably 30% have divider. I have been to mountaineer and meadows post Covid-19 and those two casinos have done a better job at limiting exposure.

Hardy anybody there at 8:00 in the morning only stayed for 2 hours They were doing routine maintenance on a large area so had to wait for a while to get to my regular machine All in all very nice! Covid-19 ready

Helpful staff, friendly and courteous. They are sticking to Covid-19 guidelines, to the point of tell people to pull up their masks nnat. I have gotten food from a couple of the eateries inside the casino and the food was surprisingly delicious. I am very impressed with the Rivers and cannot wait until the buffet opens back up and have go at it.

Always lose my money here but have fun doing it. Blackjack dealers are 9/10 very helpful and fun to play with. Only annoying time this place isn’t fun is if you get a disinterested or unpleasant dealer.

Live Black Jack tables. Im not a gambler my wife is. Most of the bars and restaurants are closed. Free parking in the garage. We had fun.

I love Rivers, even during this time of covid, the food is still good the entertainment is great. The have also done an excellent job at making sure everyone outs practicing social distancing as well as sanitizing stations everywhere!

Rivers has a great slot selection but as usual, the same selfish bunch get on the good machines and never get off them. Youll have to wait patiently for a chance at the popular LINK slots and other new machines like them.They do have some great eateries. FLIPT is awesome! Casino drink service is decent .. Expensive i suppose - paid $14 for a tall double shot cranberry vodka this past weekend. Maybe thats average though.Either way, good slots, nice amount of table games, and even a card room with hold em NL/PL games. Good action in there on the weekends.

Been here when first re-opened and not surprised with recent changes and employees being Covid-19 positive. When they first opened, it seemed there was no control with respect to people not following distancing and wearing masks. Now there is no beverage service while playing; brought my own bottle of diet Coke. They really should turn off some of the machines (like Meadows & Mountaineer) so people dont move chairs or stand at a machine. Been coming here for quite some time and think its time to stop for awhile. Plus, machines are pretty tight (or tighter than they normally were before).

Everything is very confusing for someone who has never been to a casino before. Most of the games are just variations of the same game. However, I did win $55 dollars and only spent $10. Happy days

Several restaurants to choose from, long waits but worth it. Not sure how they normally serve food but it was all in styrofoam containers like it was a to-go order but that may be due to covid regulations. Good service and food was decent, nothing spectacular.

Fun place to go but I think its wrong to make you leave machines you are playing for them to service and take 15-20 min. They should just change the operation hours to allow a time to close so patrons know going in will be a time that shuts down

I loved this casino, it was the closest casino Ive been in that you feel like your in Atlantic City or Vegas! But that particular day the casino didnt like me because I walked out losing. My parents live in a suburb in pgh, so they go when they get a chance. 2 yrs ago in March my Mom hit one of the Slots for 10,000.00!! Way to go Mom!! If you get a chance and like to gamble then this is the place to go, its not like these other rinky dinky casinos around! (Meadows or wheeling downs)

Very hard to get drinks, soft drinks, and water. All bars were closed, no staff there, one place that served alcohol and one resturaunt serving soft drinks, paid $3 for a bottle of water. Staff was pleasant and helpful though

Been a huge fan of Rivers since they very first opened their doors. My miss going with my ex (hes deceased now), this was our place where everything that was wrong between us drifted away and we could be a happy couple again.

1. Much safer and cleaner than going shopping at Walmart or even the Meadows.2. Customer service amazing. Husband electric wheel chair was going dead twice (think battery problem). Asked Melvin for help and he immediately got casino charger to plug it in while we had lunch. He along with an associate were so very kind and courteous to my husband and I. Happened a second time and one of the gentlemen at the door again rushed to help us. Sorry I didn’t get his name. Again we were treated like royalty.3. User error(me) ran my order thru Flipts twice because I thought it didn’t go thru the first time. Charge card got charged twice although I got only one meal. Jim helped me contact Food and beverage phone line. Al called me back and is now working on rectifying the problem. Whether he can or not from his end, I know he is trying his best.Congratulations Rivers! You certainly have the best of the best in staff. They show they actually care about the people coming thru your doors. Thank you so very much. If you ever replace any, look into the power wheel chair that go up to a slot machine or table in a restaurant just like a chair. That’s the only reason we bring my husbands instead of renting. It takes the space of one slot instead of two in the pre Covid days.

Restaurant food was great, but they should tell you b4 you buy it that you cant eat it in there after a certain time. Security actually made a middle aged couple stop eating their food halfway through there meal to make them leave. Rude and totally unnecessary!!!

Never went in sst in the car the whole time my husband was in there, last time i was there it was not a very good experience, the place was filthy they had those hand wipes all over the floor and left on the machines and drink cup left everywhere not picked up and then be told you have to have your mask up while trying to drink coffee, ??? And not very nice about it.that day was the last day they will get any of my money. Too many other places that i can gamble. Hey they are even putting a new casino in not to far from me.

I was robbed got sick from hotdogs they’re selling outside. And not checking temperatures asked a lady to watch the machine came back she’s still there my money is gone. I told staff and they sent security to ask my name and date of birth. Instead of immediately checking the cameras. The person left and zero customer service consideration. I left my seat they knew my money was stolen regardless did nothing. Get sick poop on the floor if you cannot hold it throw up next to chair. God forbid you get up and run for the bathroom and get robbed on you. Not then then they took me in the back saying they’re going to help get my money risking my life. Attended a company Award Ceremony in the events center. Everything was well organized, clean, and the food was surprisingly good. Hard working and friendly staff did a great job catering the 3 course meal.

Id been trying to reach my casino host for months. I realize the pandemic has altered functions but my repeated efforts went unrequited. I went to the casino at considerable expense. My card had no offers. The month before COVID I had $100.00.I thought Rivers would honor pre COVID bonuses. Not so. Very dissapoI need.

I changed 200$ to play roullette. The dealer gave me 100singles and two 25chips and after i won 2rounds i checked my money it is still 200 then i asked the dealer to ask his manager to check the camera. The manager come with liltle attitude and He said he saw the dealer gave me 150singles and 2 25chips and we dont do check the camera because that is just what im thinking and left away. Wth is that ?. I started speaking loud, then he came back and said he will call to check. After checked he changed his face so quickly mann and tell the dealer give the money back to me. I really upset about the way he talked to me man.Second. I bet 5 dollars on my number. 5x17=175.But the dealer give me 170 i asked her that my money is 175. She said 170 with 5 i bet on it. Then i came to another table to ask another dealer and he say i win 175 with 5 i bet that will be 180.IDK mann.. felling bad.

The name of this place should be changed to the den of humiliation. They do not reward play royalty, and dont care for how long you have been going. They only care about what you have done for them in the past 6 months, as all of their rules specifically stipulate this. If youre into humiliating yourself and losing a lot of money, then you should definitely go. So many better things to do with your money t h a n supporting the den of humiliation

I rate the Rivers Casino 5 star, instead of 4 star, or even 3 star, due to exceptional service provided to me by Chad L., Casino Host. I have not been to Rivers in awhile (having lived in Vegas for a bit). Much to my pleasant surprise, I recently received a message from Chad wishing me well and hoping that I return to Rivers when next in Pittsburgh. Chads been extremely accommodating and has answered all my questions concerning the most recent developments at Rivers. Its a hard life generating attention from casinos in Vegas; perhaps thats why I especially welcomed the message from Chad!Overall, Rivers has some of the best food offerings of any casino in the country, especially when considering the water views from the buffet: they make Rivers buffet one of the best in the country.I would admit that it was slow going at first with the slot machines. However, I have had some excellent runs. I hope to have more on my next trip to Rivers. I hope that is soon.

This is a phenomenal place to hang out in Pittsburgh… Not only do you get to have some excitement with the casino, player card games or crafts, blackjack or the slots… But you also have phenomenal food and free parking! One of the best views in the city is from their parking garage! I just absolutely love Rivers Casino and they’re always doing some phenomenal event that you can get some great tickets on and a great value.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, so there was a reasonable crowd, which adds to the fun for us. Our dealer David was interactive, which adds to the fun when youre losing (smile...we see this as the cost for entertainment. We were planning to have a late lunch/early dinner there, but we were not impressed with the restaurant offerings. A new restaurant is opening soon, so well have to see if the bar is raised.

One of the worst Casinos Ive ever been to. Ive never seen slot machines so rigged!!!... The machine actually made Bonus Symbols Disappear off of the screen once they were actually on the screen. I really wish that I could have recorded it to show people what I mean. I Dont think they will be in business for long if they keep this up

Myself and two friends received great service from a waitress in Wheelhouse but everywhere else in that casino left us with a less than savory experience. I would go into more detail about everything that happened but I’ll simply leave it at this; If you don’t like working with customers, then don’t work in customer services. No one should have to sit there and have to deal with your unprovoked bad attitude when they’re just trying to have a fun night out.
