This is such a cool bridge. I used to walk across this bridge daily in the late eighties when it was called the 6th street bridge. I used to park where PNC park is now. They close the bridge down during pirates game day as strictly a walking bridge with plenty of vendors to sell their products. It is really cold to walk across in the wintertime

Went for the Picklesburgh festival. Such a great time, lots of fun and exciting vendors with everything pickle. Awesome to find a hot sauce vendor in the middle of it all too. Pulled pork sliders with the Pittsburgh pickle company pickle spear were delicious. Will definitely plan on making an attempt to come back next year.

Although it is closed to all traffic during Pittsburg Pirates baseball games, including but not limited to trucks, buses, taxis, ubers, carpools, cars, vans, semis, motorcycles, street bikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, really any kind of motorised vehicle on wheels that moves. The bridge is also closed during Pittsburg Pirates home games to pedestrians and really any people travelling over the Alehgany River on foot, or really any means. This bridge is named after Roberto Clemente, one of not only Major League Baseballs major icons and hall of famers but one of sports world and United States of America icons. He was an icon of the entire Western Hemisphere, and the reason why the years outstanding player of the year award is named after him as well. I wish to travel to all MLB Parks in my lifetime, and for about the last 10-12 years, PNC Park has been been my number 1 destination. Most beautiful view in baseball

Fantastic old bridge of a bygone era! Unfortunately some ridiculous people have thought it funny or cute to add a lock to the bridge with there initials or name on it and has really trashed the overall appearance of the bridge. Home of the picklesburgh festival.!

A beautiful bridge.. famous for taking photos

This bridge can be accessed from Point State Park. Theres a wide pedestrian walkway, easily shared with bicyclists. Ramps on both sides provide access, even for wheelchairs. From the bridge you get great views of the city and the rivers. Watch for the riverboats going by. Theres some noise from vehicular traffic on the bridge, but not bad. On the north Allegheny River side you have access to another walkway going along the river downstream to the next bridge, about a mile, passing Heinz Field, along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Or you can walk upriver, passing PNC Park.

I dont know how to rate a bridge, but as far as walk ability, this is my go-to when headed to work.

Walking across the bridge during a baseball game is one of the best times to experience this stunning bridge. The atmosphere is electric and always puts a smile on my face! As silly as it may sound, walking across it is a must when in Pittsburgh!

Pittsburgh huh? Looks great. Lots of bright yellow gold. Lots of steel. Go pens. Sometimes theres traffic I guess but I dont even know why theyre letting me write a review for a bridge in the first place.

Great bridge. Seems to hold vehicles up just fine. Also, its often shut down for vehicles, and becomes pedestrian only during sporting events, and the famous Picklesburgh. Bridge has held all the people so far, as well.Also, its beautiful and yellow.

This is another place to go for pirates game and the pickle feast they shut the bridge down for a big party

I love the events they hold here and that it is open to foot traffic only during games.

So many fond memories of walking over this bridge, I once gave the homeless man that stationed himself at one of the coves my freshly made sandwiches from work here. Such a nice guy, wonder what happened with him...

Love the Pittsburgh bridges!

Super-awesome big beautiful piece of Pittsburgh Steel spanning the Allegheny just east of where it joins the Mon to become the Ohio. In the metal grating on the sides of the walkways a thousand or so locks hang, holding the memories of a thousand or so Pittsburghers and visitors alike. Also happens to be named after a wonderful human being and my personal childhood hero.

Went to the pickle Festival. It was ridiculously overpriced and extremely crowded. Got gouged for parking in n the area as well.

Beautiful bridge to walk to PNC park for a baseball game.

Went to pickle fest last summer on the bridge. It was a blast. Also lots of couples walk the bridge, put a lock on the fence and toss the key in the water.

Needs to be wider if they are going to keep having events on the bridge.

Limited water travel on July 4 but still great.
