Not a bad seat in the house. Intimate seating. If you are lucky enough to get a first floor seat, you may feel like part of the play. Lobby has a small bar area with reasonably priced drinks. Non alcoholic choices are also available. A great way to spend an evening.

I attended a top rate production of Dolls House Part 2 and enjoyed a team of actors with their full emotional journey fresh and ready even as they approach the end of a month long production every night. It was vibrant and powerful.

Its such a cute venue to watch a play like Little Shop of Horrors and there are no bad seats in the theatre. The players are great and though Im only at the Intermission I can say I just loved the play. I might add that the actors are very talented with great voices!!! Thanks for a great time, OReilly theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre and to all those involved in a great, great show!!!

Great show what an amazing night!!

Great small theater. They have snacks and beverages for sale. The seats are cozy aka cramped. Stage design is inclusive and the actors often interact with the audience. The theatre design is done well as the sound projects evenly to all seating and the stage can be seen by all of the audience. Every seat is a good seat.

Its a nice small theater. The performances are absolutely amazing. I would recommend to go see a show there. Some seats are nice and close. The closer the seats there the better the show is. Its an amazing little place.

We went to see Little Shop of Horrors at this theater. Had a fabulous time. The staff is very friendly and since its a smaller theater no issues to get a drink or even use the bathrooms. Definitely would see another show here!

Great live shows, comedians and plays. From history to present; live actors (famous &local). Plays for all ages but mostly for mature audiences just book ahead to see the show of you’re choice. Stadium seating that fills all sides of the stage so be sure to plan seating accordingly; they have a very friendly ushers who will be there to greet you when you Enter the theater to help find you’re seating. enjoy!

First time I saw a musical

Tgus is a great theatre where every seat gives you an intimate experience. The production chosen by the Artistic Director are typically awesome. You may have a miss once every three years...lol. The amenities are great and offer you a chance to relax comfortably if you arrive early, if nkt you have a number of restaurants attached for you dining (or drinking) pleasure. The OReilly Theater is a Downtown Pittsburgh gem.

If you bring a reusable water bottle, even empty, they will tell you the only option it to throw it out. Even if it is clearly not a disposable bottle and it is empty. So wasteful.

This is a great facility with top notch acoustics and every seat is close to the stage. Smallish theatre with good public spaces and accessibility. The seats are comfortable and all views are good. Have sat on the side in chairs and have only had one small corner of stage blocked. Plays have been fine and tickets easy enough to get. Tickets are affordable and the box office offers suggestions. Ushers are helpful in finding seat, but not too intrusive otherwise. Nice bathrooms and nice café. Fun to go on first Saturday of new show to get free donuts and sandwiches.

Nice theater. Its small enough that every seat there would be a great view. We sat on the second level slightly to the side and I felt the view was perfect. Could hear everything pretty well. Nice place.

I love this theater. Each season of shows is incredible and the building is nice enough. You can see the stage and hear the actors from all the seats. The last show I saw there was Hamlet which was ABSOLUTELY stunning!! Their efforts to invite younger audiences to the theater are commendable, as student tickets are less expensive and the yearly Shakespeare monologue and scene contest is great (this will be my 7th year). Non-student tickets are pricey though. The sets and costumes, the direction and performance are always amazing, no matter what youre seeing here.

The theatre was nice and very large. Only regret is that the bathroom, concessions, etc. require you to exit the main theatre area, so if you already went past the ticket guy you have to flag him down when you leave so he knows you have a ticket.

Every show weve seen here has been exceptional! Its always very clean, the employees are all helpful and friendly, and the prices arent totally nuts. This is a really fun and memorable night out for anyone!

Great, intimate setting. All the seats have a great view. The third floor is more like chairs which you can move and might be good for groups or kid management. Easy to get to from the 7th street garage. Second and third floor are only accessible by stairs. No elevators. They did have drinks and light snacks served before the performance. They also have a coat closet. Id highly recommend going back to this venue. I really enjoyed the Irvin Berlin Performance by Hershey Felder and hope they have him back.

I saw Sweat here and it was really great. The theater itself is pretty, clean, and a good venue.

I so enjoy going to see the Reduced Shakespeare Companys plays. Parking is so close. The Theatre District has so many venues, it would be hard not to find something for someone who enjoys performance arts.

Last year they changed their seating arrangements and now we go and the seats they refuse to let us sit in are empty? After going here for 12-15 years and being a season ticket holder for 6-7 years my wife and I are thinking of finding something else to do. We saw, at our show the other night their is new management, we are going to call 1 more time to see if they can resolve the issue and if not we are likely to move on. The shows are great, it would be a shame.

Saw Hamlet there last week and it was wonderful! Besides the amazing show, the theater was clean, well lit, spacious and acoustically perfect!

Great seating arrangement. One of my favorite theaters in Pittsburgh. Wooden seats are not very comfortable, though.

Recently saw our first show at this little gem and was impressed with the caliber of performance. I will definitely be going back.

Wonderful theatre in the round. Allows the actors to really get the audience involved and feeling part of the action.

Want to start by saying that the show was spectacular and so was the venue. However, we arrived at our seats to find an usher, no not a typo, an usher occupying one of our seats in the third row in the middle. The usher asked my girlfriend and I if we would be ok sitting apart as she was not going to move out of her seat. She then proceeded to tell us that it wasnt a full house and we could find plenty of seats together higher up in the theatre and stayed in the seat for the duration of the show. Without helping anyone to their seats of course. Its a terrible shame, it was a spectacular performance but I wont be buying tickets there anytime soon knowing that my seats arent guaranteed and can be occupied by employees at any given time
