Beautiful venue. Very accommodating staff. Our event went very well. Thanks!

Kids from Propel Braddock Hills Elementary did a great job in Shrek! Especially the young lady Trinity G....Dad Loves You!

This place is wholesome! As someone who has worked with some of the staff here, i appreciate the professionalism and consistency they put in their projects. The space has a very artsy aesthetic to it that i also love! And the events that are featured here are simply brilliant!

The Cowboy was awesome and I loved the twist at the end.

Great venue not too big so every seat is a good one. The price was worth it and this was for the benefit of a music school the AAMI in Pittsburgh. Tribute to George Benson and a special performance by Frank McComb whos highly influenced by George and Donny Hathaway. Great show!

Nice place for low budget performances! Everytime I go I always have a good time!

Nice venue. Would love to see more events there

Great performances and shows/concerts.

This is a surprising little gem of a theatre in East Liberty. Comfy seats with good legroom, great sight lines, and good acoustics. Ive seen film, theatre, and live music here, all have been great.

Comfortable seats and a great collection of poets. An easement venue for small performances-and I heard they rent out the space.

A community friendly engagement theater

I saw Equinox produced by Exhalations Dance company recently. The venue is charming and has all of the essentials.

Kelly Strayhorn Theaters Celebration of MLK day was an inspirational afternoon of entertainment. DANA Movement Ensembles artistic director Nick Daniels wrapped up the afternoon with a memorable performance.

Saw the pillow project...pure excellence!!

An awesome place to check out great community shows

Nice venue.

Nice old-style performing arts theater. Small, so good view from all seats. Seats reasonably comfortable. Has a kinda gritty, worn-in feel.

Awesome church service from northway

Of youre tall, youre not gonna have any leg space. Otherwise nice theater.

Amazing concert- Jason Moran and Bandwagon, invoking jazz history and progressive sensibility. Kente Arts brings in top notch artists and manages their events smoothly. And its affordable.

Enjoyed the MLK events its our 2nd time participating and its always a great time! Educational, Entertaining, and Edifying.

He show was wonderful but some of the staff spoke harshly to some people and did not have programs for everyone

Innovative art is showcased here; theres a lot of risk-taking and thats exciting to see! Its also neat to be able to see so many national and international artists locally, in such an affordable way (pay-what-makes-you-happy)!

Great community theater with lots of local events.

This is an amazing venue showcasing some out of this world performances!

Great place for live performances

Simply the best. Great programming, including family events, classes, and community dance parties. Highly recommend!

100+ year old theater in a walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. Inside youll find an extremely friendly staff, a bar, and great performances.

The play Cowboys was great!!!

Great performance!

Great theater, comfortable seats, legroom. Wonderful to see familiar names from the CAPA graduates, see innovative modern dance.

Wonderful show today...

Close and personal! Great show! Black Sparta!

Historic theatre that presents amazing local, national and international talent to the Pittsburgh audience.

Attended a Pittsburgh Symphony concert here for the first time. It was a lovely venue with friendly and professional staff. An excellent destination!

I had a surreal evening listening to Jason Moran and the Bandwagon at the Strayhorn. The venue was clean, the staff was friendly, and the music impeccable.

So amazing and eclectic performances.

Propel Braddock Hills High did a great job with Shrek the Musical!

Great performance

Saw Singing in the Rain.

What a great place to see an indie performance. Well kept and nice staff.

Enjoyed excellent show

Rich with history and culture, looking forward to the opening of the lobby cafe!
