I love this dance academy, they have a great variaty of classes, including fitness and music classes, all the instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I love dancing there and i always have so much fun.I definitely recommend this academy for anyone who wants to learn more about Mexican culture.

Amazing non-profit organization! I am absolutely pleased with the way my daughter has evolved from a shy quiet 5 year old to an outgoing little do-it-all that just wants to do more and more. I wanted to learn more about my heritage and culture from my mothers side. I was so excited to join Ollin Yoliztli! They have been so kind and supportive and I lean more than just dancing! Ollin Yoliztli is for everyone who wants to immerse themselves into Mexican traditions. It’s a wonderful studio!!!

Highly recommended this academy, it really helped bring my daughter out of her shell, everyone is so welcoming and they made my kid feel welcomed! The teachers are so nice, helpful, and very patient in helping the kids learn. Everyone is so welcoming. 10/10 recommend!!

This school unfortunately did not work out for us, and it wasn’t for lack of trying and a lot of patience. I blame myself for letting a lot of things go, and giving them the benefit of the doubt for too long as my daughter enjoyed her friends and the classes. I also want to say that there are a lot of great people at this school, and my problems really begin and end with the people at the top. I should have followed my instincts and left, when the director asked me to have my 5 year old daughter dance without her glasses, as they “throw off the aesthetics of the performance”. Of course I refused this, she has extremely poor vision and it’s a safety issue. I was threatened she would be “stuck in the back”. I refused and they had the good sense never to bring it up again. As time went on performances struggled. Punctuality by the people in charge was a huge issue, and there was always disorganization and unknown as far and timing, parking and general details. In the end, I had some ethics questions. I voiced my concerns and was immediately silenced as much as possible. I’m paid through the 15th of this month, and have already been completely blocked from the parents page on Facebook. I can also attest to the fact the they were offering free t-shirts for reviews. It’s clear that the majority of them were all written around the same timeframe.

If you are looking for a traditional folklore dance school, come check out this awesome group! One of the few groups in Arizona that still teach Mexican folklore dance at its purest form.Many other groups are great, but they add steps or costumes which are not part of Mexican folklore . Ana is a Director with 40 years of experience and has the largest repertoire of Mexican folklore dances in Arizona.

My daughter joind about 2 months ago and she loves it. The instructors are great she has learned so much in such little time. They have so many events for your child to attend Im glad i chose this dance academy.

Love it! they are great with kids my daughter started dancing at age 3 and she loved it from the 1st day, And now she is 5 and still loving it

Expensive, rude, they treat you like they’re making you a favor, the “ director” said she worked at Bellas Artes but may be as a valet parking because a 5 year old has more creativity than her and don’t even think of expresing your opinion on something because they’ll censor you at all cost and all those good reviews on Facebook? Well, while my daughter was attending the school, Valentino promise a shirt to everybody who would post a review; of course it had to be a good one because they were promising a free shirt right?? My advise to you, look for another school.

I really enjoy bringing my daughters to Ollin Yolitzli Dance Academy as they have grown as dancers and they are more responsible and disiplined. Its a great expirience to see them every time they dance. The dance instructors are all great people they care about the kids. I highly recommend Ollin Yolitzli Dance Academy...

I was a dancer for 5 years when i was younger. My daughter wanted to dance i looked every where and went several places until i found Ollin Yolitzli Dance Academy about 4 years ago. And i do not regret it its been the best decision i have ever made becasuse my daughter was very shy and now she is not. I have seen so much growth in her they have made her feel loved and valued they are like family to us. If you want to see your children grow and learn the tradicional mexican folklore with the best teachers Ana Bonilla and Rebeka Moreno i highly recommend Ollin Yolitzli
