My wife and I go see The Nutcracker every year. We were excited that the performance will still be happening virtually and we picked up our Capture the Magic at Home package today. Thanks!

Excellent experience today (12/7) with the Ballet Arizona box office. I spoke with Taylor in the box office and she was able to help me. Taylor was kind, friendly, and resolved my questions immediately. Thank you to Taylor and Ballet Arizona!

My daughter has been attending The School of Ballet Arizona for over 5 years and we couldnt be more pleased. If your child wants to learn ballet this is the best school in Arizona. The students are trained by professional ballerinas, have live piano accompaniment plus they are exposed to the Ballet Arizona Company Dancers. You could not ask for better training, teachers and exposure to the art of Ballet. The cost for this amazing program is less than most schools when you factor in you do not have to purchase costumes. The students are taken to the costume shop at Ballet Arizona and are fitted with costumes made on site. My daughter is thriving and loves the school and now we attend all of the Ballet Arizona performances. Plus, she got to perform in The Nutcracker at Symphony Hall. One more thing, the student performances are beyond amazing and ALL of the students are good. I highly recommend you set up a tour and check out this amazing school.

I love it here. The teacher for my daughters primary A group has worked so well with her and was patient about how shy my daughter was. She took her time and gained my daughters trust as a trusted adult. Now my daughter is flourishing.

It is not a wonder to find why some of the great choreographers in the world of dance want to come to Phoenix and have their creation performed by Ballet Arizona. Proof of this was the most recent event demonstrated in the recent production of NEW MOVES. The Justin Peck work was performed with perfection, and was emotionally intense. The audience was moved by their performance. Ballet Arizona demonstrated international standard of dance and quality of performance. Truly impressive! As I am on my current journey to see two (2) other ballet companies perform in the next 2 weeks (Grands Ballets Canadiens and the Paris Opera Ballet Company) I can say with certainty that Ballet Arizona is of their level and standard. I highly recommend anyone who enjoy dance or the performing arts to attend a performance of any production that Ballet Arizona present and you will not regret it. I can assure you that you will leave the theater totally in awe and impressed. You will be leaving the theater totally stunned by the incredible performance and would want to return to see more. Believe me, Ballet Arizona is INCREDIBLE and a MUST SEE.

Ballet AZ has one of the strongest companies in the country and the ensemble of dances in the New Moves series reflected the incredible abilities of this troupe. The choreography was complex and demanding, yet the troupe completed all three productions without a flaw. Not only are the dancers physically strong, but their facial expressions conveyed all the emotional content one could desire. The New Moves series was an exceptional performance. Visitors to Phoenix, and those who are residents, are doing themselves a dis-service by not attending one of the Ballets productions.

My daughter is attending the 2018 Summer Dance Intensive for 3 weeks. According to the faculty- she is placed properly in her level.Except1. She is not challenged during class. She knows the combinations already and barely breaks a sweat. She was dismissed by the front desk when she asked about her evaluation.2. The class has a 22-to-1 ratio for teacher to student, and there are NO corrections to the kids technique. Let me say that again....TWENTY TWO kids for ONE TEACHER.As a professional climbing coach, I have worked with all types and kinds of kids, and one of two things need to happen. Either she is challenged and pushed, or her technique is critically analyzed and she works on perfecting technique...…..neither of which is taking place. So she is left with doing combinations she already knows and/or reinforcing potential bad habits.3. We contacted Ballet Arizona via phone and email-- neither was returned.I will NEVER be placing my daughter in ANY further class, or ANY future performance. In fact, if Ballet Arizona was the LAST studio in Arizona, I would rather move to another state to let her practice ballet than attend Ballet Arizona.

Ib Anderson has brought GREAT ballet to Arizona! He has recruited and developed dancers that are as talented as any Ive seen in the US or in the world. His choreography is exciting and challenging for his dancers and a gift to his audiences.

Top notch school. The price is very reasonable. Solid statewide and Nationwide reputation thanks to outstanding personalities and excellence in teaching proper and traditional ballet.Im very impressed with the discipline and traditional learning that is taught in a nonchalant and fun atmosphere for the kiddos. My daughter loves it.

Truly a gem in Arizona arts community! Not only does Ballet Arizona offer unrivaled dance productions each season, the organization actively contributes to our community through its outreach programs, bringing movement and arts education to seniors, differently-abled communities, and public schools.

Absolutely the best dance performances in Arizona. I started by attending the Nutcracker- which is excellent, but now I like the more modern dance performances much better. Some of the new choreography is absolutely brilliant and completely original. They have some serious talent at this organization, which is so refreshing to see in Phoenix.

All three ballet creations were awesome in choreography and execution. The boundaries were pressed gently without leaving the beautiful realm of ballet and the dancers were amazing.

Horrible productions. Ib Andersens choreography is deplorable! Seriously nothing more than what you get from a shopping mall dance school. Id give zero stars if possible; Much a situation where the emperor has no clothes. Smell the coffee Phoenix!

The performance was excellent, but auditorium comfort was less than satisfactory as the room temperature was quite warm. Many patrons were fanning themselves with the program where we were seated toward the back.

Loved the performance. But was overcharged $60 because Im in a wheel chair and needed accessable seating. I was quoted one price over the phone, with them knowing I was in a wheel chair, and still charged more once I got there. They didnt care about helping me with my problem, at all. They do not provide decent seating for the handicapped

I saw the Nutcracker on Dec. 14 and I loved it. The dancers were terrific and the costumes and scenery were beautiful. I attend The Nutcracker ever year, and have been going in San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. The one thing I missed at this performance was LIVE MUSIC. And I was very, very surprised that people who were in the audience did not applaud. I have never seen this before. I felt so bad for the dancers....it was the second time I have encountered this in Arizona.
