We had an amazing experience having our daughter’s wedding at the Legacy Golf Resort. Savanna McIntosh was fantastic to work with! She was organized, thorough and so professional. She made planning the wedding enjoyable and easy. The venue is beautiful, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is so helpful. I highly recommend holding any event there!
Nice staff. Great golf. We were here on the first day they allowed carts back (not cart path only) since aeration. Conditions were great. Only got in 16 since our tee time was 2:20.
Had a room in the ground floor w adjoining room. Opened the door to the adjoining room ROACH - HUGE! Husband killed it. After searching a German Cockroach. Went bought mint to make sure there weren’t any coming to our room. Next day needed some more hangers to hang clothes- went to adjoining room and a ROACH ran out in front of me! Screamed, husband came but it ran under the washer. Layed a trail of Lysol wipes in the floor in the adjoining room, closed the door then layed a trail of paper towels w mint to hopefully keep them in the adjoining room. No reason for this!
The Legacy Resort and golf course is nice...the grill is atrociously slow. The people seated in the picture had already eaten by the time we arrived, there was plenty of staff, but the server was really nice and courteous. The burger came with grilled onions...look at the picture. And, after waiting 40 minutes for the food to arrive...they didn’t cook one of the orders (the cook completely forgot). I’d show a picture of the hungry patron, but you get the idea. When the quesadilla arrived, the cheese was not melted. You can’t make this stuff up!!The pool and pool area are really nice. Lots of chairs, great swimming area, and fun games. Highly recommend the pool.Update: The Legacy “owner” sent me a comment (see the post) requesting that I email them - so I did, immediately. They did NOT respond!
This is a shining star for Wyndham Destinations! Very well maintained property. Great staff! A hard place to leave!!! Will be back often!!!
Nice atmosphere in this resort. Staff is friendly and attentive. Course is nice but very average condition presently. Tim for the big punch.
We have been playing on Sundays afternoons. $29 including 2 drinks and entry into a $10,000 hole in one on a par 3. For summer in Arizona, the course has been in great condition.
Great! My family really enjoyed it
The course was in great shape, the greens were fantastic!!!
Normally a good course. But they are letting the Fairways burning up and the course is not in good shape. 40 bucks play 18 holes at the legacy is a great price but the course is in horrible shape
Always a fun course and the heat is driving down prices. A great value.
Its great here and very upscale!!@
We had our wedding here a little over a month ago and it was the best experience! Kelli made everything so easy from day 1 when it came to planning. She understood the type of couple we were and the feel of the event that we wanted right away and made that happen. Savanna who worked with us a lot on the day of was amazing as well, super friendly and two steps ahead at all times. The setting was everything we had hoped for. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!
We considered the Legacy Golf Resort as one of our venue options because it had such great reviews. All of the reviews had one thing in common this, amazing woman, named Kelli. The venue is beautiful; mountains, lush green grass, palm trees and canopies of Chinese elms. When my daughter and her fiancé saw the Sierra Vista area, we knew that this was the place. At that point, all other venue appointments were canceled. All this plus beautiful accommodations, very Reasonable pricing and a friendly staff make the Legacy a Great venue.Kelli Walsh the venue coordinator, makes it an EXCEPTIONAL venue! Now I understand all the raving reviews. She is amazing. She loves her job and it shows. Shes easy going, flexible, quick to get bad to you - everything a mother of the bride and bride need when planning a wedding. She made us feel like our wedding was the only one she was coordinating. The day of the wedding ran like clockwork. It was absolutely perfect. She made our daughters dream come true!!! Arizona has many beautiful venues to choose from, but only one venue, The Legacy, has Kelli!!
Great golf and safe..wearing masks!!
Played here in late June with a group bachelor party. Course was in fantastic shape. Staff were very friendly/helpful in facilitating tee times for all 10 of us.They have mini coolers on the carts which was a big help in the summer heat.
So beautiful!...my kids love it!
From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. The staff was great, the course was immaculate and pace of play was under four hours. Cant wait to visit again!
Great course. Wide enough fairways that it isnt too difficult for the average player, but some hills and well placed bunkers make it challenging. I played in mid June and was pleasantly surprised by how green and lush it was. Fast greens, but they roll very true. Will be playing here again.
My family and I had a wonderful time here. Everything was extremely clean, the surrounding areas were well taken care of and all of the people here were extreamly nice. Candice took very good care of us when we first got there, she was extreamly nice. We will defiently be back!
The staff for the golf course is always kind and do a good job of taking care of me each time I go and play. The course is a nice lay out, not difficult and nice to score some birdies. I like the greens here and pace of play seems to be good as well.
Awesome course at great price. Was the final course I played while I was in Arizona. Great layout and in superb shape.
Longest round of golf in five years. Not a single starter, round took 5 hours. Food was delayed 20 minutes and then terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.
Love playing here!
The ProShop was less than acomidating. One day the green fee was $65, then the second golf time was $135, very confusing. When questioned they again were not helpful. The Casita that we had was wonderful. The staff for that part was amazing. Anything we needed they were right there. The restaurant, some food was good other times not so much. Wait time for food was long and when you got your food the staff was breathing down your neck to see if you were done. At times we felt like they were making us hurry up and eat.
6:15 am and the pro shop just called to advise regarding a frost delay. Wow, I have been golfing in Phoenix for the past 7 years and this is the first course to call, as you usually have to sit at the course and wait. Awesome, now I can go get breakfast on the way there and look forward to an great round this morning.
The Legacy Golf Club: This pleasant golf course is an excellent stay-and-play venue just south of Phoenix. The Legacys lush green fairways, forgiving rough, well-placed hazards, and manicured greens offer a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
Beautiful facility. Spacious and accommodating rooms. Views are breathtaking. Pool is relaxing
Amazing course. Will definitely be back
Very playable course. Greens are fast and fair. I wat to play it again
Good course however older gentleman with no hair at the front desk of the pro shop is super rude
Had a great time playing golf. Staff was friendly and courteous.
Nice course very player friendly. Excellent staff.
Great Cars For the Money in excellent condition greens were fast and fun
Graced a ride along.
Great course, fast greens, good food
