I went there to see a Flamenco show and it was amazing. The building looks so precious in the outside cause theres so many trees and plants around it so it is very enchanting. Inside looks very old but ut seems like they are actually doing good with the maintenance of the place.

I think Boost mobile is one of the best consistantly at pricing and staff helpfulness. The store on Island Avenue I just picked up a case for my phone. I am a boost customer and never had an issue with their service.

The space itself is decent - exactly what youd expect for an older building in Philly. All the charm. Keep in mind, if you have mobility issues, its on the 2nd floor, and steps are steep.

What a beautiful spot for creative types to be and get to meet one another. I felt so honored to see a show the other night. Great music, wonderful art, inspiring atmosphere. Cant wait to be there again!

As a cellist, I can say it has been a very interesting experience to work and collaborate in there. Theres definitely plenty of space to play, and as a lot of dancers go in there you dont tend to focus on the sound too much. Once you get used to the air coming on and off its an easy space to be in.Dances, be careful what you coordinate in there, there are some support beams in the middle of of the floor that might mess with your choreography a bit. Otherwise, as wooden and as old as that place is, Im amazed that Ive never stepped on a splinter. It has what you need.

This venue is hard to rate. Its a wide open space with ultimate flexibility, which facilitates a wide range of artistic expression. On the other hand, that means either hard folding chairs, or cushions on the floor. It wont be as comfortable as a traditional theater. Theres a long staircase up to the venue, so it isnt accessible, either. So if youre able bodied and so immersed in the art that the uncomfortable seating doesnt bother you, its great. My husband and I greatly enjoyed an intimate, physically dynamic performance, not attainable in a traditional theater setting.

Good food at Avery cheap price $6 platters include water bottle pick and choose a variety of rice and meats with a salad. Very clean and Hospitably service....

Really cool spot. An oasis in Philadelphia.
