This is one of my favorite go-to bars. Have been coming here for over a decade now and it has never disappointed. Great drinks and delicious food!!!

Very classy. Staff got us in early on our reservation which was nice. Wide selection of drinks. The food here was excellent. Great atmosphere for a date night. A little costly but worth it. Well be coming back again for sure. Live music is a nice added touch.

This is a bar and restaurant combination. We were there on a Monday evening and were lucky enough to hear the love jazz music. We were just there for drinks, but we sat on the restaurant side to enjoy the music. The cocktails were great. They are craft cocktails with a lot of character...you can tell by the names! We didnt eat there, but the food smelled delicious and looked great. Great atmosphere as well.

A great place to hear jazz by local artists in a cool bar with great cocktails. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They make very good craft cocktails. I highly recommend this place if you like to hear different artists perform and relax with friends over good drinks and food.

Really nice! Swanky, with live jazzy music playing in the corner at times. Hung out at the bar, not too expensive at happy hour but only a couple drinks to choose from for happy hour. Their drink list is extensive though - two full pages of different whiskeys to choose from. Friendly and inviting staff!

Outstanding selection of Scotch single malts and Irish whiskeys. Very pleasant atmosphere conducive to lingering and enjoying the place. Of particular interest is the provision to build ones custom flight of three, four, or even five whiskeys. Happy hour menu is simple yet satisfying .

I really enjoyed that restaurant. Service was exceptional as well as quality of cooking. It was a Sunday so the restaurant was not too busy. Jazz jam session was pretty enjoyable as well. I would suggest trying chefs choice for dinner (65 for 5 course dinner, if Im not wrong) if youre brave enough to try something different. Enjoy

Not bad!! It was quite crowded, we went on a Saturday night which is to be expected. The dj upstairs wasn’t the best but it was still fun. Prices were standard. Drinks were good. The bartenders were very nice.

Extremely pleasant atmosphere for enjoying live jazz music. Small and intimate setting. Large drink menu, good cocktails. Though the dinner menu is limited, the dish we got was absolutely delicious.

Always have a good time when I come hereWhiskey bar, lounge bar, small club there is so much to do in this one place. Music is tasteful and the nights Ive gone upstairs the DJ has been fueling the crowd and not just playing what they had set up that evening. Its really why I like this place other clubs music- sometimes cringeworthy, no one is dancing but they do not change tempo or styles. Ive not experienced this at time which is why I come here often.

Good ambience, drink prices are steep but bartenders (some of them) are friendly. I went for an open mic which is run with colossal incompetence. I was there 45 minutes before sign-up and shook hands with the host and chatted. He said the list would be out later. Literally a cattle herd forms once the list which is put out (without announcement). I was 14th on the list when I was first at the venue. The guy could have had an atom of decency when I was chatting with him to give a heads-up about the line or even let me sign up at that point. Having run open mics this isnt a ground breaking concept. I also would not classify this as an open mic. Its more of a jam band with guests. The band took there good old time playing for 60 minutes before and then playing sporadically between guests. But its all cool right? Why should the hip, too-cool-for-school band, care about their patrons time as long as they get to jam out till their heart is content. Newsflash - if you run an open mic its about serving the performers who grace you with their time, not your egos. I ended up leaving without playing as not everybody can stay till last call. Lesson learned, I wont be wasting future time in Time.

The atmosphere was great, the food was a lot.

This place is so cool. We didnt eat food while there, but we definitely drank the whiskey! They had so many options, including Japanese whiskey. Not to mention their Jack and Makers Mark mixed drink was on point. Will definitely return again :)

Simply the best Monday night jazz ever --Wow. Love this place.Oh, and the crispy octopus was pretty doggone good as well (hats off to the chef) .

Its just an overrated, overcrowded and overpriced bar. Service was pretty bad. Ive heard good things about the dancing, but for drinks with friends its not worth it.

Great atmosphere, really good food. One side you get Live music and the other side you get a sports bar and both sides commingle with great fun. I asked my bar tender for a martini he said sure, I asked for something fruity and he came up with something Delicious.

Good whiskey selection, at par prices. Excellent staff. We only had whiskey, dessert, and cappuccino, but all three were excellent. The band the night we were there was the Point Breeze Social Club. Great band, great music.

Dope spot. Tried absinthe for the first time. Happy it was a classic treatment. The live music was also a plus. Only downside was how crowded it was.

Awesome place for a date with live life Jazz ambiance.Be sure to reserve the tables in music side in advance if you can. We had great service dining at the bar however, as well!Happy hour (5-7p some weekdays) chicken sandwich was very tasty and reasonable.

The live music provided by the Trio was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately our experience was undermined by wait staff who came off very short and rude while taking our orders.I still wouldve given this place 4 stars if it wasnt for the fact that when we called afterwards to ask about a bag that we left on premises, the host who answered claimed that he didnt see the bag and didnt want to look under customers feet to check. Knowing that Time was the only possible location we couldve left it, we drove back to the restaurant to see a half empty restaurant with the messenger bag sitting in the EXACT location where we said it should be... There was only about 15 minutes between the phone call and our return to the restaurant so I cant help but get the impression that the host who answered our call either didnt look very hard or didnt bother to check at all.

Nice place however no street parking except a public parking garage charging $6 for EACH 1/2 hour up to $22 for a day. THIS SUCKS!

Loved everything about this place. I was in town for 5 days and went back 4 of the days. Good selection of beer and whiskey and food was good. The feel of the place was nice and laid back and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back of Im in Philadelphia again .

Didn’t have food, but the music and drinks were great (especially the Poppins!). My sister and I danced and vibed with folks we’d met that night. Such a great time. Highly recommend.

The whiskey list is expansive. I was disappointed that it was not purely dedicated to being a jazz bar. It moonlights as a party bar on the weekends. Generic radio music blasted through the venue and produced an atmosphere entirely inconducive to sipping scotch or high quality bourbon. Talking was impossible. On nights that it is indeed a jazz bar, I would adore this bar

This place seemed like it could be really cool--Ive even heard good things! But the music the night we went was so loud, we couldnt hear each other speaking. It completely ruined the experience. We had a table reservation, but they put us right near the band, so we couldnt easily escape the noise. The food was very good and the drinks were good. Service and staff were also good, and there were different bars, though we only tried one because of the reservation. I cant recommend it because the night we went was overly loud and really crowded.

Had dinner here on a Sunday and I cant say enough good about our experience. Rahim was our server and he was excellent. The food was delicious, I recommend the Duck en Croute. Their whiskey collection is supurb and Rahim was very knowledgeable, gave us a great recommendation. If youre in Philly and you enjoy Jazz I recommend this place any time. THEY HAVE MUSIC EVERY NIGHT!

I visited as part of Philly Jazz Fest. Ive been here before but it was nice to hear great jazz in the middle of the day. It was packed to standing room only. A lot of people stood outside which works well when the windows are open because they are tall and you can see and hear everything. Good service.

Always a good show playing here. It can get really cramped, but thats my only issue. If you can get a table or even just a seat, youll appreciate how well decorated and intimate the venue really is.

Always delicious shrimp and grits, that’s my go to whenever I go there, and my friends and I like to sit at the bar, at the corner, sometimes four of us, so we can chat comfortably without having to sit at the table, and it’s always lovely when there’s live jazz playing in the background. Food was good. Atmosphere was GREAT! It was a little pricey. We got an appetizer, 3 drinks, and two entrees and our bill came out to over $100. They have live music and the band that played the night we went was awesome. They also have a club upstairs where you can dance but we didnt get to experience it because there was a private party up there. Overall, the experience was great and I will definitely go back

Great beginning, bad ending. Took a friend there to celebrate reaching a milestone with his new business. We sat at the bar on the jazz side, and our bartender was fantastic. Friendly, accommodating and made great drinks. We ordered several drinks and I had the shrimp and grits, which was surprisingly very good. We got there around 8:30 and decided to stay until the band started playing around 10pm. Anyway, my friend was finishing up his last drink and I had to step outside to make a call. About 3 minutes later, I returned, and the bouncer carded me! I had a bewildered look, since I had just walked past them a few minutes ago, but I took out my ID. I guess one of the bouncers didnt like my expression, so he asked me, Are you okay? not out of concern, but more like do you have a problem!? I said no, and walked in. Then the lady at the door told me the cover was $5! I said, ummmm.... I was already inside. I just stepped out to use the phone. I walked right past her on the way out, so I didnt understand why this was even a conversation. What irritated me the most was her attitude about it. She said, okay fine, whatever as if I was trying to sneak in without paying $5! Whats bizarre about that is, why would anyone sneak in to a place that charges $12+ for a drink? And it was only $5... why would you think I needed to sneak in to not pay $5? It was insulting, and it completely soured what was otherwise an enjoyable night. I have my suspicions about why I received this treatment compared to other customers, but the bottom line is, after spending almost $100 here, I dont expect to be treated with disrespect. After this experience, I wont be going back and I cant recommend it to anyone else.

I have always and will always love this bar. One of the first bars I went to in the city, many memories created with many people, almost like 3 bars combined and completely amazing every time.

My husband and I stopped at Time Friday night 3/15/19, had a good time. We ate, had a few drinks enjoyed the band. On Saturday night my husband went alone and was asked for his ID. He questioned the request only because he’s an elderly man. He was given a hard time and even after he provided it was refused entry into Time. He asked to speak to the Manager and was told by the guy who refused entry he was the Manager. What a way to treat your customers that came only to get a drink and listen to your band.

Time is just fun. The music is always great, the staff are friendly and funny people, the food is delicious, the drinks are well made-Time is just fun.Time is pretty expensive so I always recommend going to eat first, but there is no way you wont have fun here. The fact that its separated into 3 parts lets you choose your scene for the night, and I always love that. Expensive, but absolutely worth the money if you have it.

Ambiance, drinks, and entertainment is terrific. The food is an afterthought.

Atmosphere is amazing! I can see why they were able to afford it. From rude door people who are always asking for money to pretentious bartenders who gouge you with every drink order like they stirred it with their Midas touch, Time offers everything a hipster with too much stache wax could ever dream of. I will not be returning. You might love it. Hipster.

Its full two room bar with dark stained decor.Food looked good and the left bar is quiet but full while the right is openly social.This may seem odd and it IS.

Attended a private event in their upstairs area. There wasnt much seating however this could have been a choice by the host, not the restaurant. The bar tender was nice and the food (appetizers) was good.

Staff members are incompetent and disrespectful. The venue looks great but the rating is based on our experience. We walked in and the greeter at the door was too busy on his cell phone to assist us, so we sat down ourselves (no sign saying we couldn’t since we were going to the bar). A server comes up and asks us what we want and then leaves. Another person comes over and says we need to leave since we don’t have reservations (???). We weren’t told this when we entered because the dude at the front was too busy to care it seemed.

Loved the location! And the live music really adds to the beauty of the location! The Brussel sprout toast was amazing and I really enjoyed the duck. It was my fiancé’s birthday and she couldn’t have had a better experience!

We stumbled across this place while walking around the city after visiting Christmas Village. It was the best part of our night! They had a live jazz band playing at 6pm which was awesome! We were there during happy hour and split 3 appetizers; which were all absolutely delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our bill with drinks included was under $50 (during happy hour). Definitely a new favorite place to visit!

Just walked out! Celebrating a friends 40th birthday..brought 7 friends with me..the hostess Aubrey was HORRIBLE!! RUDE !!We asked to be seated at which she said after 10pm u can sit anywhere...when we did ..she came and asked us to get up v rudely.We wanted to do bottle serand go all out.She was just v unprofessional and extremely rude to the point that we left.Taking our business elsewhere!
