Opposite of Independence Hall, “The Dream Garden” is a mural composed of hundreds of thousands of glass tesserae in a multitude of nature-based colors. It is truly a remarkable sight to see. That being said, there isn’t a full experience here. If one were to visit looking for a historical lesson or additional details, it’s pretty bare. The restaurant/ bar (P.J. Clarke’s) that shared the lobby with the mural provided a steady stream of people, but otherwise the experience was quiet and reflective.Visiting, “The Dream Garden,” is a small dose of art, worthy if a fifteen minute visit.
A little misleading. When I went here the only thing you can look at is this mural or eat at an overpriced restaurant. The mural is amazing and I studied it for a good hour to make the walk worth it
This mural is definitely worth a quick peek as you walk by Independence Hall. The vibrant colour and the sound of the water trickling makes it a calming experience.
Took the woman of my dreams here when we met for the first time. Special place...hard to find, even harder to get in to see as the venue is frequently booked for events. Worth seeking out. Truly beautiful.
What a spectacular sight. Few people venture into the lobby of this building to see this glorious work of art.
Amazing work of mosaic art, and it is open to the public for viewing! The door was unlocked at 9am on a Saturday, and the receptionist was friendly.
Exquisite workmanship, detail, color in a magnificent setting
Drinks with friends
Gorgeous mosaic. Worth a visit
Beautiful, but I really had no time to appreciate it
The best kept secret in the city.
Its awesome that this place is so free and open to view. Take the five minutes and check it out!
