The Art School has some interesting work. Im not sure how you can become a student. If interested, you should Google them on the internet for more information. Also, a renowned artist is an alumni of the school. His name is Mr. Dupree. He too, can be looked up Mr. Dupree Art in Phila.

Flemish Er is an incredible art school, and to top it all they throw themselves to be a strong part of the community. If you have an opportunity attend one of their many festivals .... worth every minute you spend there!

Ive taken multiple art classes at Fleisher. Its an incredible resource and affordable. You can take up to 8 classes per year for the price of membership. The classes fill up quickly so you have to register early. Ive taken screenprinting, weaving, and intro to 2D design. All highly recommended!

Fantastic place! I love all the artwork and the architecture of the building. The chapel was amazing. To stand amongst all the history in that room was amazing.I very much look forward to my next visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great time sitting outside in the quad and reflecting and looking at all the wonderful art artwork on the walls.

Some of the teachers are better than others, but you kinda have to just try it out for yourself. Fun as a hobby and if you already have the materials. Communications before classes are inconsistent. Class descriptions and material lists should really be updated based on the teacher teaching it. Parking can be difficult. Overall after I took a few classes I will continue to go, so enjoyable overall!

Fleisher has a wide variety of low-cost (Tuition-Free) courses that run 3 times per year. I love to take them and have enjoyed every one, but interacting with staff has been stressful. Many times, Ive tried to contact them with no response, despite emailing the addresses listed on their website, as well as personal addresses of several employees.

The building was unexpectedly amazing, the sanctuary part took me by complete surprise. Wow.The art memorial has a lovely array of classes for kids and adults, and they even have a color darkroom!!! These guys are angels in my book just for that.Their exhibitions are very good, I plan to submit my art for their consideration one day. They have events that are most unexpected. I went there for the book talk by a Russian murder mystery writer. The attendance could have been better were the event advertised better. But thats neither here nor there.I love this place!!!

When my two children were little, 5 years old, they took Saturday art classes. They learned drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpting from some of the best art teachers. That was over fifteen years ago. This was one of the best things we could have done for our children. Fleisher will always be special to us. Both of our children appreciate the beauty of art.
