Came to hang out at the arcade today with a few teenagers and we had a great time! We noticed that the prices went up on the arcade machines which wasnt that great but it just made us spend a little bit less. Theres still some really cool games but some of them just cost a little bit too much to play. We bought two large pizzas and that was enough to fill everybody up! Great place to stop in for some entertainment!

The place is awesome! There is so much to do from bowling to billiards to playing video games or just having a drink with some friends at the bar. The food is okay and things are a little pricy but it is something fun to do amidst the covid19 pandemic. They are taking the proper precautions and staff can be seen working hard sanitizing everything. The best right now theres never a wait for anything but I am afraid on if theyre getting enough business to stay afloat as its a real fun place to go i dont want to see it go under like inplay.

Lots of fun. Expensive. It was $4 to rent the shoes to bowl. And its $10+ a game. They charge you $2 just to get a card to put credits on for the arcade. Oh, and they charge you $1 for a mask, even if you all have your own. Kind of a rip off. However kids had a blast, thats all that matters.

Round One was a very fun place to visit, even if it was a bit pricey. The claw games are definitely even more rigged than most, but I did see a few people win so it is possible. Their prizes for tickets are amazing and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend focusing more on the ticket aspect than the claw games because you will ultimately walk away with more. I cant even get over the amazing prizes they offered. Overall, come here if youre willing to spend a fair amount of money for a good time and the chance to get very nice prizes.

Although not quite up to the standard of the original locations in Japan, Round1 is a fun place to hang out on the weekend with the family or a couple friends. Really cheap pool, bowling, or darts and a TON of games that run from crane games to racing simulators. Plus three karaoke rooms which matters even more now that Pitch is closed. The only downsides are pretty sub-par service from people who look like someone forced them to work there, and food to match. It does however have sake and Kirin on tap for 2 bucks so if youre a fan of Japanese drinks, you should definitely stop by!

I really hope this establishment threw out the food before closing due to COVID because my entire family got sick after eating “fresh food”! $100 on food NOT WORTH IT!! 100$ on a gaming card NOT WORTH IT! They tell you most games are “4” tickets which is a lie most are over “6” tickets and if they are “4” they are temporarily out of service.(half of the games do not work) They have COVID guidelines yet I did not see 1 employee going around cleaning games stations NOT 1 yet they threaten to kick you out for not having your noise covered for .5 seconds. Employees stay behind the counter at all times I would suggest going across the street to Chuck E. Cheese Security, food and game wise is most definitely WAY BETTER! DO NOT WASTE YOUR DAY/TIME/MONEY here. Owners fix the problem before your business ends up like Macy’s.

Yes, the place can get expensive. If you let it. Keep in mind this is only a review on the games. Not the bowling, darts, billiards, etc. Most games require at least 7 credits to swipe. If your not here to try and win the prizes they have a Green card that allows you access to play for a set period of time. The place is clean, and honestly has something for everyone in the family to enjoy. I would personally have more enjoyment taking the family here then waiting on line and walking around 6 flags.

Too bad i cant give it 6 stars.......... Ok where to start.Nice quiet mall but this Round 1 location seemed to have taken over what use to be a Macys. So the actual building is extremely large and spacious.First impressions would be how clean this place is. The general staff is extremely friendly. They randomly help you out with everything. In fact even the security guards will help out as well. Everyones just very positive. Good morale! They have all the games that the other two locations in IL have but the kicker is that all these machines are brand spanking new. Everything works. All the buttons are flawless. Large variety of Japanese games and even some newer ones that I recently saw last October.Layout is pretty wide open. Machines are pretty far apart from each other which is good since sometimes when you get into the game you dont really want another machine close to you where you lose your personal space. The wide open layout also makes circulation of air function much better than being packed like sardines.Prizes available at redemption section was refreshing to see new things. Some where rather useful too! Hot plates and cooking accessories as well as randomly stuff for younger audiences. Then you also have the electronics that work well for everyone else.Id definitely come here again just due to the atmosphere. Even if I didnt win anything I would still come again because I truely enjoyed myself today.

I would give this place zero stars if I had the option. We spent $84 on game cards and they lasted a little over an hour. 205 credits sounds like a lot until you realize that all of the games are 6-10 credits each. The employees are very rude and have no clue what they are doing. You wait in line to see how many tickets are on your game card then wait in line again to redeem tickets for prizes. While waiting in line, a woman confronted an employee regarding a discrepancy in the ticket value for character cards. The woman was obviously correct in this situation, evidenced by a photo she took of the sign stating the ticket value. The employee told her he had no control over it and did not offer to help her further. The employee then cussed in front of my children as the woman walked away. I will never step foot inside this business again and I encourage others to spend their money somewhere else.

Multiple times the cards have not worked to swipe and staff refuses to make it right. Waste of money big time! Do not waste your money here.Edit: came here after everything has been closed from covid. This time all the games that had two player options had one seat shut down, at least five green games swipe screens were busted out, wed be in the middle of a game and it would tell us to swipe and not let us. And it would also say we were accepted and swiped but then not let us play and put out account on hold. We went to ask for a game of bowling as replacement, the worker left for ten minutes wasting the rest of our time to find the manager who spoke nicely to my boyfriend but then got an attitude with me. She looked on the screen and told us it said we played games. But we explained everything.. just for her to say oh we dont give refunds or free bowling but I guess I can this time. But you have to rent the shoes. We left. And we wont be back. I do not recommend. We paid round one $20 to WASTE OUR TIME. It was nice like the first month or two. After that its all broken and they took half the green games out.

After arriving in checking in everything was on organized nothing was ready and we were told we had to pay for all 10 kids and Ill $10 up front that being said the people that didnt show up I had to pay for and waste the money on the game cards that didnt get used... So five to six hundred dollars later they finally got us a room and got it settled in then they tell us that we can only play about half the games instead of unlimited games like we were told then they brought us our food halfway through which was okay for the most part... Then told us everybody got free ice cream which was awesome but they didnt tell us is if you didnt get your ice cream on a certain time limit you dont get it all they told us was as if you had a sticker on that was provided for the party you got free ice cream so after I brought everybody up to get their ice cream and they turned us away and said sorry your partys over you cant have ice cream then after all that I go back to the room wrap my party up I asked for to-go boxes they told me I cant take any food home and he drank some any anything home because its an all-you-can-eat scenario... no one helped us but one lady the whole time which was very nice short haired lady but other than that we were nothing but a huge inconvenience the whole time we were there by time we figured out everything that needed to be done we were 3/4 away through the time limit for the party and it was probably one of the most horrible events Ive ever been to in my Life and completely ruined my daughters birthday which its fine she got to spend time with her friends for a little bit and I do appreciate the idea and the small help that we did get but other than that definitely need improvements and lower prices or better explanations instead of being treated like Im trying to get service from a robot....

If I had the option to put 0 stars I would as this is the worst experience anyone can have for theyre first time visit! I guess well start off with arriving theyre, Theyre was 4 of us that went bowling and played some games in the arcade area! When we arrived the 2 females working the register were not friendly what so ever, we wanted to have 2 separate checks and was told that was impossible! I said so whats the difference if a couple comes in and another one comes in, She said well I dont know I guess il Ill do 2 checks so we end up paying and going to our bowling lane, when we get to our lane its not working the screen wont turn on after hitting the assistance button several times we walked up to the counter and they said just keep pushing the buttons until it comes on... still doesnt come on! So finally we ended up just moving to another lane that was on and bowl theyre! Bowling went fine until the 2nd game when the arm came down before the ball even got to the end and ended up getting stuck, so we push the assistance button again. No one comes, mind you all of them are sitting behind the counter talking! So we ended up just putting the balls away and quit bowling! After that we went to get some game cards to play arcade games, of course the employees had no idea on how to get the card loaded so shes talking on the radio back and forth to her friends until they finally came and did it! We started playing games and 3 games at least we wasted money on after swiping card and they didnt work! Theyre was also a karaoke room that we went into thinking we could swipe our cards and sing but after coming out of the room another friendly employee yelled at us and said you have to pay for that ahead of time before going in, I said how were we supposed to know being this was our first time! We were then threatened to get kicked out if we went back in! Mind you every employee was black except one, and the black females were the only ones with the attitude towards us so Im not sure if we were a different skin color we would have gotten treated better but lets I guess talk about the last and worst part! My girlfriend and I went to cash our tickets that were on our card, we left our card on their counter to go see how many tickets our friends had! After coming back they told us that they didnt have proof that it was our card and refused to give it back to us, mind you this was the same Black female that we inquired our points with earlier! So in the long run we wasted $20 on games and money on bowling! I would not recommend this place at all especially a family who wants to enjoy a night of bowling, theyre are definitely better bowling alleys around in the area!

I was surprised (and happy) at the cheap price. My only complaint is, several games were out of order. I’d say at least ten or more. I hope repairs are quick, as I hope to visit regularly. A game of skill can only make 40 tickets at a time. Its so expensive its not fun anymore. Two stars for the cheap beer. Disappointing.
