This place has THE best bartender/owner EVER! I love the games here. Way better than just sitting on a stool drinking.

Love Brandon the DJ and Katrina the mixologist. They are great at their arts, fun and outstanding service agents. I frequent Play because of them.

Place was fun but too crowded for covid times. Definitely will be back when things return to normal.

So much fun! Free shuffle board and the rest of the games are quarters. I think the most we payed was about $2 for a hunting game. Great drinks and some good music. We went on a Sunday night, so it was not as busy. Im sure if you go on Friday or Sat there is a long wait time for some games.

I used to love this place but they just continuously are going downhill. They bartenders are always amazing but it seems like they do zero maintenance on the games. If its breaking they just let it die and if its already broken they just let it sit there and take up space.I get the machines are costly but thats the whole point of the establishment, fix them.

For an arcade bar they really need to better prioritize the upkeep of their game cabinets and make sure the coin machine is filled and, at least, functional because the bartenders seem (understandably) very annoyed if you ever have to talk to them about any of this.

The service was good and the ambience was welcoming but the number of games to the populace attending this bar was to be found wanting. I would love to go back on a night thats not so busy.

Play Purge party for halloween. Play is always a great bar to hang out at. An adult arcade with all the fun games. Old school arcade games, ski ball, air hockey, and shooting games.

Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday and drinks are very reasonable prices

Had a great time here playing air hockey and enjoying excellent drinks from the crew behind d the bar. It was busy but the drinks always came quicy and made with an excellent pour. Will definitely climb the stairs again!

Such a cool bar with arcade games like NBA hoops (basketball) and skee ball. Daily drink deals and even karaoke night every week. They play great music and is a really fun place to hang out. I come at leave once or twice a week.

I went on Thursday, March 7 and arrived around 7:30pm with my date. It was slow until around 9:30pm when it suddenly got crowded. There are alot of old arcade machines but not alot of the famous/semi-famous arcade games. There were also quite a few Terminator games that I wish they could replace with Centipede or Asteroids. We still managed to have a fun time. I give it 3 stars due to the game selections. The staff of the night get 4 stars. Thank you ladies.

Most games are broken, and the DJ when we went was NOT good. Ive been to way better video game bars, and this one is not really worth the time or money.

Essentially it’s a bar that has a few old arcade games. Not great as far as an arcade goes. The pinball machines were not working well and the cabinet games were old and in need of some TLC. If you’re looking for an arcade, look elsewhere.

Fun bar to go hangout at! Kind of hard to find at first but once you do youll find yourself coming back!! You can usually find a spot at the bar pretty easily, there is a ton of games to play from air hockey, pinball, pool, skee ball, etc. They make the drinks well, and have awesome bartenders that provide great service. It is dimly lit inside but it adds to the old arcade feel. The bathrooms sometimes have quite a line so dont crack the seal!

If you want to play some free games, come here! Ski ball is freeeeee only sometimes!***bathrooms smell like gummies bears, dont forget to lick the wall*** all in all it is one of the best bars to visit in pensacola dt! If you are looking for your next arm wrestling challenge, come here!

Awesome place

Not quite what I expected. I feel like the website lied about drink specials and ski ball wasn’t working. Good atmosphere though, staff was friendly but I expected more games.

Not really what I expected. Went there a night to have fun with the wife, half of the arcade machines were broken, lots of inadequate language by others and bartenders. Not a friendly atmosphere. Oh they were out of change and their change machine wasnt working. Didnt try the food.

I went downtown with some friends after a graduation. Some of us were going to drink and others not. We decided that Play would be a good place to fit that balance. It has some retro games like pinball, house of the dead, terminator, air hockey, Foosball, basketball, and a few more. The place itself isnt too big, but its got some cool stuff there. They had a live DJ there when we went too so the music was going the whole time. Im not a drinker myself, but I enjoyed hanging out with friends and beating them at all the games!

Play is one of the best local hangouts in downtown Pensacola. It has the fun arcade feel of when your were a kid, but, no kids. A smoke free and clean environment makes it a great place to meet with friends, an after dinner drink, or even a laid back date night with someone special. The staff is always consistent with drinks and Ive always been served in a timely manner. One of my favorite spots to be when Im downtown!

I like the concept of this place, and the events are fun, but Ive had a bad experience consistently with some (usually one in particular) of the bartenders. I guess its just an unfriendly personality, but I get ignored for 20+ minutes waiting to order another drink in a next to empty bar. I used to be a regular here but after coming here so much and having the same mediocre to bad interaction, It will be a rare occurrence if I come back.

They need a better system to allow you to acquire quarters, honestly. Other than that, the drink specials are great, and the bar itself is pretty nice. Very laid back environment.

Kind of a Dive Bar but lots of fun

Probably my favorite Downtown Pensacola bar! Plenty to do and great specials during the week. Some of your favorite arcade games, plus bar favorites like pool and darts, and even some board games for those who are short a few extra quarters! The staff are always pleasant and keep the drinks flowing without making you wait like some other bars downtown. Definitely a great place to hang out for hours on end.

Visited on a quiet Sunday night. Bartender was friendly, quick, and gave decent pours. Plenty of games open to stay entertained.

Worst bar tenders. So rude. Kicked everyone out an hour before closing because they didn’t want to be at work anymore. We paid for a game and they made us leave before we could finish

All the games I played were broken or somehow didnt work right. The House of the Dead game wouldnt let us play two player and wouldnt read the coins I put in. The air hockey table doesnt blow air hard enough to move the disc so it constantly got stuck in the middle of the board, the skee ball machine didnt work and the pool table wouldnt drop all the balls after putting money in. When I addressed the issue of the air hockey table with the waitress and asked for a refund she said no, youre still playing the game even though we had to repeatedly stop the game to try and move the disc to an area where there was good air flow. Im positive they are aware their machines dont function properly, but they dont care. Their staff werent interested in mitigating the MULTIPLE problems we encountered and their games are much more expensive then other game bars Ive been to. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I certainly will not be going back.

Da Bears! Upstairs watch the Bears games with some of the best fans this side of Soldiers Field. The owner and his staff, make sure everyone is having a good time, the bartenders are attentive and well suggest a glass of water before your next drink.

Fun place to drink and play some awesome video arcades. My brother beat me in mortal kombat 2 so much that we got into a fight and I havent talked to him in over 45 years. I like the music.

I go here all the time I always get their signature drink the king koopa I have several of the take home mugs in my house can get a bit over crowded but the skee ball is fun and free

As a visitor from Savannah, I consider myself fluent in bar culture. Everyone from the bar staff, to the bingo announcer, to the karaoke guy and the locals were all super friendly and it made me feel like a big kid who could play games and still adult in the worst of ways lol. A+ on all fronts, Id suggest this bar to anyone looking for a good time in Pensacola off season or in!

Never had a good experience here, the bartenders are rude and act like they’ve never been in the service industry before. Just a bar with overpriced, lackluster drinks, there are plenty of places in Pensacola I’d rather go to with better service and better drinks. The only redeeming factor is the games.

Play is the best place to go with friends and enjoy some games whilst drinking. The bartenders are amazing and very friendly. the atmosphere is great and Tuesday karaoke is the best with Krazy George.

Kareoke and awesome games. Might wanna fix a few but it is mostly a bar first arcade 2nd.
