I contacted Tanglewood to inquire about a month-long rental and was told they had no vacancies for the time period I was interested in. They then called me back the same day to let me know that a spot had opened up. But theres a catch. If I wanted the spot Id have to pay rent starting that very day and keep paying rent through the time frame I actually used it. They claimed they do not take reservations and never hold spots. Needless to say, I declined their offer. Very unprofessional and predatory practice.
Not a good area. I was only there because my boyfriends dealer lives in this area. The owner needs to monitor this area closely. Sorry.
This is not an RV park, but a trailer park that allows RVs. There is no bath house. No laundry facilities. No pool. No playground. The train tracks are right behind it and loud. The caretaker, Dean, is very helpful and good to work with, which is why I gave it 3 stars. I was told ahead of time that the monthly rent was $500 that included $100 electric and would be charged additional for overage. I was told to send a $150 deposit. When we arrived, we had to pay $500, not $350 for the month. We did not get any deposit returned when we left, so the monthly rent was actually $650. Also, we were told ahead of time that they had reliable wifi. We had it for 2-3 days, then nothing. It never showed up again on a search. We went out and bought our own as we need it for work. Some of the neighbors had questionable behavior with police paying numerous visits and drive bys. While it was fine for the month we were there, I would not want to be there longer and dont see us returning. I do miss the kitty.
This is a nice place to visit, and take your family.
Quaint...quiet and shady...love the location..close to everything
We loved Tanglewood! My husband and I stayed there for several months and found the people very friendly and the park well maintained. The owner is a very sweet lady, and Dean, her maintenance man, was very helpful. We made a lot of great new friends there. It would be nice if there was a laundry on site, but there is a laundromat nearby that offers a very reasonable rate on bundled laundry service. We used it every week. Some people may not like the train noise, but we are model train enthusiasts, so we loved it!I highly recommend this park to anyone wanting a place to stay permanently, or just for a short visit.
Looked well kept. Not too noisy, except for the train comes through several times a day. My friend seems to like it ok.
GOOGLE is being paid key words so a bad review can not be left, so I came here where it truly matters.WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH WOULD YOU decide to rent here? DESPERATION!First of all, they will ask you for a review before you leave. This is in order to get a good review from you. We let me tell you the truth of whats going on here: That deposit..HA a lie. No deposit return. They keep it whether you do anything or not. I thought that was what a deposit was for? AM I wrong here? They will not produce a receipt for this reason. We did not believe it when another reviewer said you will not get your deposit back which turns out to be true. Second, that neighborhood... We literally caught 2 people trying to steal our lawn furniture and cooler like they have never seen one before. I mean what the devil here, people. Our lot flooded and we had to move. AFreggin train in the back and a crazy 24hr street in the front.SHADY PEOPLE DOING SHADY THINGS here if your imagination can go there. WATCH YOUR BACK!!!!! I would suggest a weekend drive-thru to see exactly what is said here is true. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING or kiss your flexibility GOODBYE. MONEY WAISTED!! GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING or kiss your flexibility GOODBYE. MONEY WAISTED!!
Grass is long. Road is just patched and cheaply done. Train is loud. Owner of the park likes collecting trailer rent but does not fix any maintenance that needs to be done. This place is falling a part. Dont rent here. Poor maintenance and terriable owner. Her name is June. Maintenance man is dean. Hes nice at first but once you know him hes a total prick and does not help you.
Down here working for a week, they gave us a great weekly rate. Huge trees everywhere they make this place. Would recommend staying here.
We have been there 9 months with no complaints. The management has been wonderful to us.
I booked a week ahead. Arrived there at 7:00pm I called the owner, June, as previously instructed. I even knocked on her door several times. No answer until the next day. The maintenance man finally arrived after the neighbor called him for me. Nice guy, but I think I interrupted his hard partying. Long story short, it was not possible to get my RV into the park because they have very low hanging trees on both entrances, which the owner neglected to tell us when we had booked. This is a terrible way to treat people! I would not send my dog there.....
Nice park, just dont plan on getting your electric deposit and cable deposit back when you leave, also dont plan on rent receipts.
Very quiet, nice place
So clean and everyone is super nice!
They say they are pet friendly, so me and my wife drove 2 hours to check out the rentals....NOPE...not pet friendly...they dont take pets. I asked the manager about it being pet friendly and she said thats only for people who bring their own RVs or trailers in. PET FRIENDLY means the entire property...not just those you pick and choose. Steer clear if you have furbabies!
My new home, very happy with my choice of parks
They wont rent us a spot because our camper is over 10 years old. Its like a joke, but not funny.
Was a pleasant stay. In saying that though the noise from the train was not good during the night. But the guy we met on arrival was very helpful and friendly and wanted to help us. Loved our night there. Thank you
Heres a sap story.I was in college at UWF living at college Vue, where they assign you a roommate, with no choice. My roommate happened to be Satan himself, throwing parties every night, constantly getting in fights with me and other people while drunk, and stealing my stuff. After a Looooong battle with the landlord there, I turned in my keys, moved out with 3 months on my lease, and I refused to pay.Of course, I got evicted. So that landlord basically made my next 7 years of life impossible to find a home to rent, I tried *EVERY* single apartment/mobile home/house/roommate website and every single person turned me down.I was so blessed to meet Mrs.June and Mr.Dean on Craigslist and rented an amazing 2 bed/2ba mobile home, it had a few bangs and dings, but I feel at home here. Here are some good pros and cons to living here.Pros:-Great landlord, if you pay the bill there wont be any problems.-Great maintenance guy, keeps the place looking good, and is the ultimate handyman when it comes to fixing almost everything.-Yard of the month, get a discount for keeping outside looking good.-Great rates compared to surrounding areas.-Great location, you are 5-10 minutes away from everything here in Pensacola. The interstate is litterally 1 light away, and the mall is down the street.-Great scenery, the trees in the neighborhood make the place beautiful.Cons:-The train, it comes every night at 4 am for a long one, and few short ones in the day.-Leaves, all these beautiful trees fight back in fall. With weekly yard rakings necessary. All in all, Im so appreciatetive to live in such a wonderful place, with good neighbors and a great landlord.
Love it.... great staff!
June and Dean were very kind to us. Our children had other kids to play with while there.
Yards need trimming throughout the Park but otherwise this looks to be a quiet & safe community to live in.
Awesome park well maintained friendly people safe and easy living june guerra is a great person and owner of the park a great person.
Great place to stay with your RV. Clean and well maintained! RVs are mixed in with permanent mobile homes. We plan to stay there in the future!
Roads rough, pot holes
Had a friend who lived there...was done wrong by the mgr.lady...really rude ! But not a bad spot tho
Tanglewood gardens and rv park is a nice place to live. and the landlord is a wonderful person. we are glad we chose tanglewood gardens as our place to live.
It has free wifi and theres nice people im a kid so I play with my friends there im living here for 2 years and im moving to Orlando if you going to move here there really nice dean will help you pull your cammper and ms june pays the cable but will have to pay her 50$ I think. .
Nice clean quiet community well kept up and safe. Have to say the staff are amazing and you feel at home staying there. There is a train that runs through the back but it doesnt really bother you unless you are just uber picky. The grounds are kept manicured and clean located central to everything and easy access to stores and the beach. Price is decent compared to other places in the area. Wifi cable accessable. Only drawback for rv campers is no on site shower or laundry but there is a laundry place a mile or so down the road.
Great place to hang, convenient to everything and the lady that runs the place is as sweet as honey.
Its dont have a laundry mat here r swimming pool. No play ground . for kids
Nice and quiet.
Quite neighbors. Nice place for RV renters.
Ownership sucks.
Its easier and fun
Trash
Clean
Hateded it
This place has rats and ant
Dont rent here !!!!!!!
The slum lord is quite possibly the worst I have ever had to deal with and the trailers are falling apart and some of them really not liveable . The trailer I rented had soft spots all in it and it had a really bad electrical problem.when I confronted them about the situations by both the slum Lord and maintenance man . I was lied to that it would be taken care of and a year later it was still not done . So I had no other choice but to move out because it was getting worse and unsafe of my son to be around
Nice park enjoying our stay
Okay little place but kind of high rent for what it is.
Not a place I would want to live
Nice place to live.
Friendly people, good rates.
Good
