The walking track is nice. The playground is dated though, and the city closed the wading pool. Park pretty much exists for the people that work in nearby government buildings to get some steps in.

It was CLEAN and parking very nearby. Was nice to enjoy a lunch on a table that had no graffiti or bird deposits!!!! Now just reopen the restrooms and earn my 5th star.

This statue was in a median. Weird place to have a statue, this Dell, was the first queen of a county fair or something like that. I dont remember. Nice little Park. Play area for the kids, lots of green grass, only two bums. war memorial. And memorial for others who have died. Yes, its worth your time to stop.

Nice small sized park with historic statue. There was a homeless man sleeping on the statue. Trash bins over filled and a bit of trash on grounds. Decent park nevertheless.

The park is nice with lots of trees and parking and nice grass. Unfortunately because of the virus the bathrooms, wading pool and playground are now closed.

Quiet. Squirrels are kinda ballsy though & will allow you to get pretty close to them; kinda cool!

We made the mistake of stopping here on a road trip. A host of unsavory people were at, or made their way past, this park at 2pm on a Monday. Observed at least one drug transaction and had an unusual adult male with unknown intentions trying to swing with our young daughters. All in our 10min stay before leaving for somewhere more family friendly. The unemployment office across the street probably doesnt help the clientele here.

It was clean and a nice environment but didnt have much and had homeless people walking around.

I appreciated the bronze statue memorializing the deceased Sheriff, Tillman D Taylor. It helps us realize that lawmen have a long history of dying in the line of duty.

I like the kids pool for my little ones, I just wish there was a bathroom attached to the pool area because the public bathrooms in this park are disgusting....in all Pendleton public parks actually and who wants to run out of the pool and halfway across the park to pre and all the way back. Today was actually the cleanest I have ever seen the bathroom and it was still gross. I feel like this has to do with the homeless population and the amount of foot traffic(bus stop) in this spot, however it doesnt explain the rest of the parks.

This park brings an array of people. Some for a low-key and inexpensive birthday or picnic and others waiting for transportation at the local bus stop or visiting from across the street (DHS and Unemployment Offices). The park is big enough where there can be plenty of groups and still doesnt feel crowded. I enjoy the historical aspect of the park, but the playground equipment is a bit lack luster--however, sufficient.

Decent size park with large field and an assortment of play structures for various ages. Problem, the public bathrooms were locked, so we had to get creative when my 3 yo had to go in the middle of sisters soccer practice. If the restrooms had been opened, itd been a 5 star review.

Its not too far from the city center, has a coffee shop close by, and has a public pool for the little ones and yourself to cool off. State building is across the street so not too much worry when it comes to criminal activity.
