This was a nice museum with local pioneer history. You can go into an old log house that is furnished as it might have been. Recorded audio tells about the family that built and lived in the home. The museum also has a caboose to walk through and a pioneer barn to peek inside. In the museum building are numerous displays of Pioneer life. The admission price could not be better: $4 for seniors and $5 for adults.
Great museum displaying the history of the region along the historic Oregon Trail. Friendly and courteous staff.
A nice museum with local history including the old train station, the World War 2 airbase, and local wheat farming. The gallery space was in between exhibits and was empty.A number of interesting outdoor exhibits including a train caboose, a country schoolhouse, and several wagons. The gift shop had a number of local history books.A nice local museum to visit in Pendleton.
Great Staff and cool infomation on the community
A great Museum for tue family! Lots of history about the north eastern Oregon. There are several rooms indoors with exhibits as well as sprawling outdoor exhibits.
Best place to go and see lots of antiques back in the old places trains to fire truck to mail to school it is a great place to learn what we did in the olden days
Wonderful history. Well presented.
Only $5 admission very worth it Nice museum
Loved how it showed history, I hope they are able to get more funds to expand on their history and culture. Staff was friendly and helpful, even pointed out other low cost history and culture sites.
Charged us 10 bucks to see locked up buildings. What a disappointment.
I enjoyed certain parts but the museum is smaller than others.
Great history and education for everyone in the family!!!
Nice place, great history of eastern Oregon
Very boring. Not much there.
Wonderful place for small gatherings, and the price is right.
This is the BEST place, Its so COOL & VERY INTERESTING!!!!
Learned about the links to Oregon trail, Scottish heritage that included sheep, wool, Pendleton clothing as well of course the railroad and its impact on the area.I always thought the Pendleton factory had more to do with the Indian culture. They have Indian patterns but it started with the Scottish culture.
