Not for older kids but you kids and families should have fun. Avoid the weekends and holidays if you can and reserve a table with umbrella before you go.
Over the last few years Paradise Cove Water Park at C.B. Smith Park CLOSED FOR SEASON has become one of my kids favorite destinations and I cannot blame them. From the moment you walk in you realize that GWL was created for kids and families as a one stop entertainment shop and the fact that you can sleep there is just a bonus.
Pretty sweet electric karts here. Not sure theyre as fast as some of the gas karts Ive drive but still way fun. Well be back.
Highly recommend for families with their children . My 4 yr old son loves this place, second time going and we had a blast . Love the actives they do with kids . Thank you for the great service as well .
If is your first time when you enter and pay for your tickets also get an umbrella that is $10. They show you a map where to choose it and you can change if you are not too sure. The customer service is good. A lot of Lifesavers so thats a plus. What I dont like is the speakers are too loud when they must talk. All the areas as clean. You can take your own food, towels, drinks which is cool if you are in a budget. And if starts raining within 2 hours they ask you to leave but they raincheck your tickets. Which is great! Overall nice place to go with your family and kids.
Enjoyed joining family and friends at this park! I havent been there for years and it was so nice to see all the improvements and additions. My Grand children and I had a blast floating down the lazy River with my very pregnant daughter. We arrived early so we had secured lounge chairs across from the Kiddy pools. I didnt want to leave, but a prior commitment pulled me away. The wonderful staff suggested I come back later and stay till closing. I will visit again real soon.
Hi i wanna know if your opened on tuesday? thank you
Great water park if youre on a budget. My kids always love coming here. For a Saturday, it was busy...but not overly crowded...we were able to find parking and didnt have to wait long to pay for admission and a locker either. Staff were nice and helpful...and plenty of lifeguards around. Its obviously not as big as Rapids...but there are plenty of slides for the kids...lines are never long and you cant get lost...also plenty of lounge chairs if you dont want to rent an funbrella. The food at the grill could be better but its decent as are the prices...we always have a good time and I dont break my wallet..its a win win..
Great family fun! Lots of shaded areas to enjoy the waterpark. As a Mommy to two little toddlers, ages 2 and 3, there were plenty of fun areas for them to play in the water (which they could easily stand in) and go down the various slides, even the water tube area though it was a little challenging for them to see over the tube but they had fun in it regardless. And there were various sizes of the tubes. Its a bit expensive at $12.50 per person including young children. Overall, however, it was a fun time all around.
Perfect for the kiddies and even teens. I went with my sisters and my nephews, both of which are 1 (almost 2) and they loved it. Its full of fun stuff from keep the kids entertained. They also have adult slides, which looks like fun, but I didnt get a chance to try. Its also super affordable and I recommend getting an funbrella to have a spot for your things. To add a little more, we seen childrens parties going on, so Im pretty sure you could bring your own lunch and snacks inside.
Very fun experience during the season that i spent here, The park is large and it has several areas to sit in. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because there are not enough sitting areas and the place does get packed. Also because there are not enough free water fountains. They do have a store for water there tho. I also like that they have staff going around making sure everything stays safe.
Really fun for the kids and huge water slides for everyone up to it. A few are lightning fast and really fun. Hold on tight! There is also a water play area and a fun lagoon that you float down on a tube. Worth a visit and only about $12.30 a ticket. No glass/ceramic bottles for safety and no metal zippers on the slide. As a small note, If you’re going to go really fast down the slide, make sure the lifeguard is paying attention to distance before allowing you to go down the slide. I still waited after the lifeguard said go, and If I wasn’t paying attention I would have hurt someone by accident. Just be careful and have fun. Great place to go with the kids.
A couple of weekends ago was my first ever at this water park and I am so happy that I went. For some time, I avoided going to this water park because it was always packed and I assumed that it was expensive and it isnt at all.The entrance is only $10 which isnt much more than its competitor that I normally frequent. Since I was there for a party, I liked the fact that they had a separate window for party check-ins.The main water playground was tons of fun. My son and I stayed in that central location for the duration of the party. We literally just rotated slides and slid down them all afternoon. And I honestly had a blast. I wasnt able to get on the bigger slides as my son isnt old enough yet and only he and I went to the party.I had such a good time, that I am thinking of having his 5th birthday party there because he had such a good time and he loves the water. We had a few guests at the pavilion; iguanas. I hate iguanas but I know that they are more scared of me than I am of them. Plus theyre vegetarians so at least I hope they wont bite. The pavilion was clean and the attendant came by often to empty the trash. They have ample enough lifeguards on duty; surrounding the pool as well as attending the slides.Overall I had a great experience and definitely look forward to going again.
Great little place, not packed yet
Our experience here was good but had a few problems. We had found parking space when we arrived which was good because can sometimes never find parking at places. Check in was good too. The staff was friendly to us. We found a funbrella since it wasn’t busy that day. But I was watching my two kids and I saw that kids were throwing water at them. Some of the kids had tripped because of that water. My oldest daughter had almost tripped over the water. Also the water was too shallow and my kids got scratched. Also, the slide was a bit dangerous because my two daughters looked like they were about to fly off the edge of the slide. Luckily, my oldest knew how to swim and my youngest was helped by a lifeguard.Maybe we have to think twice before we come back.
Great park. Clean, affordable and doesnt have that overbearing smell of clorine. They have lockers available, a grill station, and a snack bar (great prices too). Plenty of lifeguards around. Early arrival recommended. We cant wait to go back!
There are great 4 big slides and 3 other attractions. But the staff, even there are plenty, seems to have no agenda! That is why there are long queues for rides. Entrance to the aqua park cost 1,50$ pp. Inside plnty of free parking. Tickets are 10$p adult and 7 p child. You can bring your food and drinks.
I was not happy with my experience this past time I went there with my two children. This is what happened. They announced that in 15 minutes they were going to close. We were in The Lazy River at that particular point in time. When the announcement was made, all of a sudden the current in the Lazy River started going extremely fast. I am not exaggerating at all. Everyone in their tubes started piling on top of each other around bends and I lost my five year old daughter for about 2 seconds. A drowning could have easily occurred. C B Smith Park, was trying to Usher everyone out of the lazy river, and instead of doing it the right way, they turned on their pumps, causing the current to go so quick. You should have seen the chaos. Theyre putting themselves in a very litigious situation by doing this. The lifeguards, who are standing there, did not even care. Which I found odd. And then I also realized that theyre human beings, and the ones that guard the Lazy River have to stand up the whole shift that they are there, and so theyre always looking at other things besides people in The Lazy River. Not only that, but what are they going to do? Jump in? but then have 10-15 people to take care of?? It just doesnt make sense. What they should do, is to tell whoever runs this park to not turn on the pumps again in order to get everyone out of the lazy river. Do things the right way CB Smith Park, and avoid drownings and huge lawsuits! There was also Pembroke Pines cop, parked illegally on the grass in a unmarked plain vehicle. Everyone who goes there knows the parking situation, people Park wherever they can park. And so I parked behind him, he got out, all angry because I parked behind him. Talk about leading by example! And this was on grass, I was not interfering with any means of Ingress or egress. His attitude was extremely piss-poor and unprofessional. I just kept calm and pressed on.
What a great place to go cool off from the hot summer sun. You can set up for the whole day there or just spend a couple of hours. Although I did not try the food the prices were fairly cheap for the meals offered. The large umbrellas that are able to be reserved definitely look like they are worth it if you have a large party with you. But come early by 12 PM there is no place to park.
..kids school went on a trip a week ago and I must tell you Ive never seen so much kids in one place they always having just a wonderful time it is just full of fun for kids and the whole family also I would definitely go back there again we love it face clean nice well organized and they even have a reserve tent dont know what you call it. But anyway you get the point when its lunch time they call each School for the different lunch time and when to go back in the water and when time is up like when youre ready to go so overall we had a wonderful time I didnt go in the water but watching the kids having so much was enough for me I was very happy to see everyone happy from every walks of life.
I have a great every time we go! They have awesome discounts for after 3pm and its a cheap, fun activity for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Theyre also really great about honoring rain checks if the weather is bad. Fun place for the family!
Love this place! Great place to take the kids for the day! Super cheap and the kids had a blast!
This waterpark is really well maintained and everything looks new. Water was clean. Lots of staff to watch the children. Lines for water slides werent huge. Will be back! Id recommend it for kids and adults. Lots of seating and lounge chairs.
I’ve been here before, it was great
At CB Smith park. Different from what I remember. Lifeguards need to be more helpful and not hesitate in pool area with the four waterslides. I had to go to childrens rescue. When one of the three/four lifeguards noticed me approaching she decided to ask if the child needed help? Really?!
Great for young kids but be prepared to ask the adults to teach their kids manners. Amazing what the staff misses in regards to the safety on the slides. Do like how often they rotate guards due to heat. For a quick time at a water park, this will suffice.
We visited today with my niece who is 7 years old and we had a great day overall. You can’t beat the price, it’s great for kids to hangout all day. The food at the snack grill was alright but it was fairly inexpensive. My issue is with the staff or I should say “lifeguards”. Majority of them are very young, probably just summer jobs but they are certainly NOT trained to handle the masses. My niece has a disability and requires an extra 30 seconds to get off the bottom of a slide before the next person slides down. The lifeguards were barely paying attention and just sending people shooting down the slides without making sure the child who went prior was off the bottom of the slide. She got barreled into trying to get off the first slide by an adult and her child. Then we were criticized by the lifeguard for not getting off fast enough, unnecessary. After this I started going up with her for each slide and being the next rider after her to ensure she got off the bottom of the slide before someone could hurt her again. This caused certain lifeguards to repeatedly tell me to go not even realizing that the child was still trying to get off the base of the slide. Just be aware if you are going with a child who needs a little extra help, the staff will not adapt.
I love this place! This is a nice water park that offers family fun. Ive visited several times and have never seen it be overcrowded. Its got several slides, an area for the younger kids, and an area for the older kids (and adults) and a nice little river. It may not be as big as other water parks, but I think this place is great. Its economical and its local. You dont have to travel up north several hours for nice family fun. The only down side is, its not open all year :( Thanks CB Smith Park!
I will give it 5 stars if the staff were nicer and did their job right but they dont sadly the life savers go on the slides and skip lines to this. When I was at lazy river I lost a ball that I brought and at the end of the day I saw the life savers were playing with the ball and I asked nicely if I could get it back they kept playing for a little while but they gave it back. But its really fun for the kids and the slides are great
Very Clean, we love it, the tickets are little bit expensive but it is ok, they have a restaurant inside, I like it because it no t to many people so you can enjoy with your little ones. They close at 5pm, after that you can enjoy the park the y have playgrounds or you can walk into the park they are close at 7pm.The playground have a roof so it is perfect in a sunny day, pay attention with the restrooms in the park because they close earlier around 6pm.
Loved it. Had lots of fun
Good for young kids, its crazy busy on the weekend. Food prices are the lowest ive seen at a park
Great little park worked well for a summer birthday party. My sister rented a funbrella. It was packed. The floor was hot as hell no cooling. Over all good time. Slides for all ages.
Awesome park, specially if you have kids. They recently have done some renovations, added new seating and umbrellas that are free. They also have picnic tables you can rent for the day for $10. Or pavilions for birthdays. Its great for a family party or kids birthday. All slides are under supervision and the staff is overall friendly. Multiple slides for little kids, teens and adults along with a lazy river.
Its great and fun
Its one water slide away from a full water park.
Loved this place. Not too small for the kids but small enough to be in eyesight at all times. Lifeguards very attentive. My son had an accident n they were on it before I knew!!! Very good safe fun
We had an an awesome time at Paradise Cove. There was something to keep everyone entertained and happy from our almost two years old to the 8-11 year olds and us adults as well. Small enough not to worry about where everyone was every minute and big enough for us to have fun for hours!
Awesome water park ! my daughter wants to go every weekend! Best part is the price $ and cheap food inside ... (just check the weather before you decide to go because they have the rain check policy and close the park when the rain starts)
Great place for kids and affordable!
My kids had a wonderful time here. They have many lifeguards so it feels very safe.
Good place to go with young kids; we went on Saturday was not a lot of people. Price very reasonable.
This is a great small family water park. A few big slides and stuff for smaller kids. Lazy river is refreshing as long as you are here early. It gets packed and that is usually when we leave.
The smell of chlorine is too strong. And dont go there when forecast will have rains.......theyll send everybody out of the park! Imagine if brought lots of food and stuffs to carry?
Excellent place to go with your family. They have control and very good security system to avoid accident.
Nice place, fills up on holidays, but even crowded, its fun for small kids, possibly older ones too. Slides are medium sized, 5 or 6 stories high. They sell food but you can bring food and coolers too, just cant bring pizza. Lots of lifeguards, great kiddie pools.
It was so smooth and very professional.
I absolutely loved it here. Wish I lived closer. I would go more often. The staff was so amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was cooked perfectly. The prices are responsible for everything. We had such a great time here. Looking forward to our next venture out this way. Family environment and totally kid friendly. Amazing.
Cool little spot to bring the family and little ones. They love seeing the iguanas in the palms and feeding them their lunch. Great little water park that everyone will enjoy!!
This is such a Magnificent place to go to celebrate your birthday or just have a family gathering.
Great summer option to cool off kids jets. Very clean. Will repeat.
Love the park its full of nature. The iguanas comes very close and they are friendly. The water park is an amazing fun place to cool off and have a nice kiddy section. Wish they had a big pool though.
The park is fun, but the Saturday we went it was busy! One of my kids got stuck in the lazy river, which was super crowded with both kids and adults. He started to get scared because when it was time to get out, an adult on a tube bumped into him sending him back into the lazy river. He got seperated from his friends. He asked the lifeguards to help him out, they totally ignored him. Meanwhile, because he was stuck so long, no one could find him. I spent 1/2 searching frantically, even announced his name over the PA system. It was a very upsetting experience for both of us. I wont go there when its very busy. Also, we were there for a birthday party and I had to PAY to get in to accompany my children to a water park?! I am never attending a birthday party there again.
A nice water park, the staff are great. The only thing this water park is missing is a big wave pool!
Clean, good price. But way to full on the day we decided to go. I dont think Ive ever seen a water park so full
Great place to spend the day, my daughter loved it, very affordable, staff is very kind, all young person, they help you with all the requests and safety is RULE number 1, they do have the situation under control. Only down side is that, there are a lot of seats without umbrellas, sun hit you hard.
Great time with my grandsons. I want to say I could relax and let them run freely but I was nervous. Snow cones were a relief in the heat
Awesome. Cheaper than going to Rapids but still plenty of fun. They even have slides for older kids/adults. Most importantly its pretty safe
It was a lot of fun for my son. He is 9 years old; however, my 3 years old did not like it at all. The price is the same for both kids. I think the price should be different for a3 years old.
My kids love the water park here. They have a ton of options for all ages. Food is overpriced as expected but they allow food in. Completely worth the hassle. Also, if they have to shut down the park due to weather, make sure you get your rain check. It never expires!!
The park is okay. Mostly made for younger kids tho. The prices were okay and the food prices surprisingly were very cheap. The lazy river is kinda short and there really isnt much else to do if you have teenagers. They only have the lazy river and the slides. Which in my opinion was very fast and kinda scary lol. But idk I personally wouldnt come back here unless I have kids.
Great place for entire family 1000% reommended. Afforfable. You can bring your food and drinks. A lot of lifeguards!
Great options for kids of all ages. The price is steep for kids to get in but they keep it will maintained and the staff is courteous. The small kids area is adeqaye with the 2 slides and splash area.
It was relaxing. Alot of places to go and hang out. Have a good time
Its a great place to have fun with your family......prices are fair but the only bad thing my wife mention was the the womens restrooms were very dirty but everything else was nice.
Hot day in florida with the kids? Come on over for a quick dip and relax
Great water park. My nieces are visiting from out of town and wanted to go to a water park, so a friend suggested this place. It cost $10 per person before 3 p.m. and less after 3 p.m.Everyone had so much fun as there was a lot to do. They went through the lazy river a couple of times and went down a huge slide a few times besides playing in other sections. They even had a place to purchase snacks. We brought our own food and waters to save money. They allow this as long as it is not in a glass container or is alcohol. My daughter and nieces did purchase french fries too at the snack bar.The weather turned and a thunderous storm approached, so we were told that we had to leave. We were given vouchers without an expiration date to return since we were only there for a few hours. We cannot wait to return.
Had a family fun day.
Great time with the kids and family . Just wish the funbrella ceiling top wouldn’t be so thin but other than that super fun waterpark
The kids always love going here. T.Y. Park is so nice as well, where this water park is located. They have a nice sized pool with a waterfall in it so you can actually go swimming here, which is a nice change from other water parks in Broward. The staff is always nice and life guards are very alert. Very important when you have a lot of kids in the water! The slides are cool and the little kiddy section is a great plus for the babies and toddlers to enjoy without the craziness of the older kids playing. It’s a fun place to go in the summer and cool off, although their prices did go up a little since we last checked. Oh well, that’s Florida for ya!
It was fun, but people just let their kids run free. The number of lost kids as young as 2 is ridiculous. And it was the kids looking for their parents. And 3 pool closings due to kids not wearing the appropriate clothing (poop in the pool) in one day, is ridiculous.
The next day that night my son had ringworms all over him. Do not go on a big holiday or during the summer. Too many people with all kinds of germs, bacteria, fungus get in that water.
Its perfect if your childs 8 or under, smaller than rapids so easier to keep an eye out.
Fun place but watch children lifeguards are young they need oldrr responsible lifeguards. You need to really watch your kids here becareful
What a wonderful water park! Grandchildren had a great time! Admission is $10 and totally worth it. Lines were quick except for the big slides the waiting time was a bit long. Beats paying $42 per person at Rapids!
Just all around a bad experience every time we go there. It always rains out so the whollllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee water park has to evacuate. So if you paid $75 for an umbrella, kiss that goodbye, the employees and life guards do not care, they are all kids with no real stake in the company, so leaving early is always a plus for them. the manager or who ever she is has ZERO people skills. I will never bring my family here again, the rain check policy is TRASH and who ever wrote it up must be GREEDY and realized the old rain check policy was causing them to lose money since there is ALWAYS lighting alarm, ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!! Take your family somewhere else, do not pass go!!!! DO NOT PLAN BIRTHDAY PARTIES!!!! DO NOT DO IT AND SAVE YOUR SELF THE ANGUISH!!!!!!!!!!!!
After seeing this place for years, I finally decided to stop and take a dip . What an amazing time and its super cost efficient .
We had a blast best local water park, great food & prices.
Really enjoyed. Only thing is you cantering lighters to light candles.
The most wonderfull place to enjoy with your kids
Grea water park for kids. Parents shouldnt have to pay 10.00 to get in the park..otherwise great
Nice clean park, reasonable price and youre allowed to bring your own food and drink. Lots of fun for kids.
That was exactly what I was looking for. My family and I had a great time. We will definitely be back.
It was fun very funBut dont open your eyes in the water without goggles on
Many fun waterslides for kids and adults. Good price is very reasonable.
Only one thing sitting areas need to inforce rules about other quest. Breaking up area when family has come early to reserve place for them to enjoy.
I love it, beautiful place my grandchildren enjoy the park.
