Beautiful spot with a boardwalk trail around a small lake for wildlife viewing. It doesnt look like much from the road so it took me two years to stop but I am glad I finally got there and will be back.

Love this Place. It’s close to our home - I love to use it as a nice little morning wake-up walk. We entertain out of the state guests, and it’s a favorite spot to take them for a coffee walk in the early morning. It does get a little warm later in the day, but there are several covered stations to stop and take pictures, and grab some shade. The wildlife never disappoints. Birds, and turtles are great to see up close. There is a launch for kayaking. Beautiful little hidden gem spot.

This park is super cool for anyone who wants to just relax. I’ve been here a couple times and while yeah, the rules here are strict, but it’s a nature preserve. Fishing, smoking and boating would ruin the Preserve aspect of the park. The park is a little hidden when driving past it, but it’s definitely a hidden gem.

I never know if I should rate parks on my expectations or with what they promise. I guess Ill go with a lil bit of both. This park is exactly what if promises. A board in the middle of the reservation area. The board walk is a solid 5 minutes walk and well maintained. No trash around the park. You can also rent a canoe. Even though some were full of water. Saw one snake, and a few turtles and fish. Its a bummer you cant do anything fun here. No fishing, no drinking, no smoking, no skating, no boats, and specially no pets.If you want a park just to sit down and watch a swampy area. This is perfect for you. Anything else you want to do go somewhere else.

Perfect place to disconnect from busy city life..tranquil and peaceful. Trail is not too long so its a great place for families with smaller kids. Depending on the time of the day, you can see different wild life. There are also informative signs on plants and animals you can spot along the trail.

Not a long hike, but a totally pleasant way to spend a cloudy couple of hours on a pleasant walk. Definitely a trip for everyone. In the evening or summer, bring bug spray. There is no charge, but tips are welcome, and frankly, not doing so is crass in my opinion.

Totally peaceful and loving people! If youre purchasing a home in this area, youll enjoy the environment, the wild peacocks and the neighbors. Everyone pretty much stays to themselves and are laid back. The houses are in good condition with a few problems with the roof, but the designs and sizes are ample and unique. All in all, a good place for those investing or purchasing a home!

Very short walk. Not ideal for a nature hike and its not enclosed or secluded by trees so the sun will beat your brains out. They needed to extend the trail into wooded area for it to be worth visiting. Whats there is nice though.
