I had a great time with my boyfriend & friend. It’s 100% worth the price. The host was helpful. The room we went to was scary and I didn’t think it would be so challenging for us to solve but we got our money’s worth. Will come back soon!

My husband and I took our friend for her birthday. We had a wonderful time. Lyn was very professional and seemed to be very passionate and dedicated to his job. We did the scary room and it was perfect having our friend targeted for her birthday. We will definitely come here again! Lyn was a great escape room coordinator. I highly recommend this escape room establishment.

Very fun experience, it was my first time doing an escape room of any sort and we chose the nightmare theme room. The suspense and thrill of trying to figure out different codes and riddles was very exciting I’ll definitely go back again.

Lyn was very knowledgeable and helpful, and overall our experience was thrilling. My family and I will definitely be returning and trying a different escape room.

We played CRYPTIC CAY and had a wickedly fun and entertaining time! From the moment we landed on the sandy island, it was a fast paced adventure the entire time through! We thoroughly enjoyed the sets, costumes and the cryptically challenging puzzles. We had a chance to chat with the owners afterwards and they were incredibly friendly, smart and inviting. We are eagerly excited to try out their haunted nightmare room next time. Highly recommend!

Our experience at Nexus was one of a kind. My partner and I love doing escape rooms (at least 20 and counting) from all of our travels and this one was memorable. Lyn was so enthusiastic and welcoming. We loved the well thought out rooms, cleanliness, and the impeccable customer service. We genuinely enjoyed it so much that we booked two rooms in a day! Can’t wait until he has new rooms so we can come back! Highly highly recommend.

Great fun for the entire family. We had a party of 5 people and tried the Cay room, I don’t want to give away any fun surprises but flip flops might be a good choice for shoes ! I went there with a couple of friends and I could honestly say we had a blast. We actually played 2 rooms back to back. The first room was a scary horror theme, which was my cup of tea! I loved it! The 2nd room was a Christmas theme, more challenging then the 1st we played. I’m still a beginner, but my friends are more experienced with the escape rooms and enjoyed the challenge. Lyn was animated and an amazing host. He really made the rooms lively and brought energy to our experience!

With this being my first escape room, I didn’t really know what to expect. But Lyn the Nexus escape room owner was amazing. He explained all the rules of the games clearly, and was so kind and helpful along the way. My boyfriend and I did the cryptic cay escape room, and while it was challenging, it was really fun. All in all, great kindness and a fun time, can’t ask for anything better.

Lyn was so welcoming and remained enthusiastic throughout the entire experience, despite my friends and I being the last group of the day. We are all horror fans and chose “Escape Your Nightmares.” The room was entertaining, challenging and had its share of “jump scare” moments that even rattled the guys lol. This was my first escape room and I can’t wait to return to try the other two.

Ton of fun, excellent owners who really care about escape games and taking care of customers. We did Cryptic Cay with our family with 4 adults 15yo, 13, 11and 9yo and everyone had a blast, great puzzles.Highly recommend!

I recently went here with my boyfriend to do the escape your nightmares room and it was so much fun!! The room is filled with so many unique props and it made the experience awesome! Definitely scared me a bit but it was a thrill to do!!

First I have to give a HUGE shout out to the owners Lyn and Laura. These guys were great hosts and really just wonderful people. They are super passionate about what they are doing and it really shows. I am an escape room addict and their Cryptic Cay room is in my top 5 favorite of all time. All of their rooms have tons of really unique automated features and programmed elements that I have never seen before, all of which they have designed in house. For Cryptic Cay, they went ALL in on the design elements, which was absolutely amazing! I cannot rave enough about this room. The scary room was really well done as well. If you want absolutely creepy, jump scary, and really unique attributes again with unique automated things, this is definitely the room for you. I am not a scary room person, which is the biggest reason why its not near the top of my list. Lastly, we did the saving Santa Paws room. Of the 3, it was my least favorite, but there was a TON packed into that one room. All in all, my fiance and I were just visiting the area and stopped at 3 different locations today and this one was by far my favorite!

We just had my 11 year old daughters birthday party here. What an exceptional place this is ! The owners Lauren & Lyn have put a lot of thought and care into their escape rooms. They say it takes them as long as 6 months to build a new room and it shows. Theyre very intricately detailed so the players are always challenged. We had 2 rooms going at the same time- Cryptic Cay in which my son, daughter, and daughters friends were in, and Escape from My Nightmare which had a group of adults, my daughters aunts, uncles, and cousins. All had an amazing time. My wife and I were with a few other adults in the reception area while the players were in the escape rooms. We could hear them laughing, screaming and having lots of fun. Everyone said they had a blast and would do it again. We were able to set up food and drinks along with seating in the reception area so this is a good venue for a party of I would say up to 25 people. Note that they have a total of 3 escape rooms and can have 2 going at one time with a max of 6 or 7 people each. Many thanks to Lauren an Lyn for being great hosts and showing us a terrific time!

We “Escaped our Nightmares,” and it was an awesome experience! You can tell how much passion and thought was put into creating the room! It was fun and exciting with cool puzzles and tech! We’ve done many rooms and this was definitely among the very best! I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. We will be back very soon!

This place was amazing we went for a birthday and it was such a great experience. Hard not to say anything without spoiling it, but it’s a fun challenge. The gentleman who aided us in our visit was great with his instructions. Pay attention and use your wits. Don’t forget to actively look for clues. You have to go!

This was so much fun! There wasn’t any unnecessary clues to distract you and all the clue were well thought out and fun to play around with. Each room is self created and are so personal and different than other escape rooms I’ve gone to. Don’t miss out on this place!

Fun with different rooms. This was around our tenth escape room and it was very fun. You have to try the escape your nightmares excellent room. The most interactive, funny, scary and had alot of team building involved

So much FUN! I came out with sis and hubby. We were able to complete our room with only 44 seconds left. Our guide was very helpful and patient. Room was creative with a lot of attention to detail and reasonable level of difficulty. Sooo good! We had a great time! Thank youu!!

My team and I went to Nexus Escape Room and did the Cryptic Cay Room. Lauren and Lyn were very welcoming and answered all our questions before we started. The room was a lot of fun and my team and I enjoyed our time there. We were very impressed with the set up and all the little details that Lauren and Lyn had in the room. I loved this escape room! The Cryptic Cay room was set up so nicely. I came into the room and was instantly impressed. Such a cute beach theme. Decided to try Nexus during a trip to Miami with my kids, ages 12 &13. What a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt like family was welcoming us in. The owners were excited to have us and also to share what theyve built with us. Cryptic Cay was very impressive! The props were great, and the room had a good flow to it. All the clues made sense, and they were very willing to make the experience as challenging as wed like! I will be back for the new rooms in the near future, guys! Thanks again!

Went a few days ago with a party of 4 and did the Cryptic Cay escape room. Very friendly husband & wife team running the place. The room was very unique with different touches. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend.

A group of us decided to check out Nexus Escape Room and we were all pleasantly surprised. We were the first ones to try their new room: “Escape Your Nightmares”. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room itself was one of the best I have ever experienced. Great story line and decent amount of scares throughout. Puzzles were challenging but loads of fun. I would highly recommend Nexus for anyone who loves escape rooms. Can’t wait to go back and try “Cryptic Cay”. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Lauren & Lyn were absolutely AMAZING! Took my daughters (teenagers) and did the Cryptic Cay room. It was fun, full of surprises, great props and overall mentally stimulating which made scenario and room feel very realistic. Lyn did a great job of giving us clues when we asked but still allowing us to feelthe victory of finally figuring it out! HIGHLY recommended!

We spontaneously decided to do an Escape roomSunday evening and were pleasantly surprised when Cryptic Cay was available for us to play. It was the perfect mix of critical thinking, teamwork, and adventure that we were looking for. The locks/codes we had to crack tested our brain power and allowed all of us to participate and help. Loved the stranded on an island theme, too! Will definitely come back for the next rooms when they become available! Thank you for the good time!

Great experience in the Nexus escape room! It was 5 of us and we completed within 50 minutes, there are unlimited hints and the game master is a very nice person. We had a wonderful time there and enjoyed it very much! I would definitely recommend doing the Escape your nightmares room if you like spooky stuff!

This was so much fun! My group and I did the cryptic cay room and it was very interesting and stimulating. The clues were well thought out and the hints we asked for were just the right amount of help. Hope to go back one day and check out a different room.

Nexus Escape was recommended to my wife and I by the owners of another escape room establishment after we had completed the rooms there. Setting up the booking was easy as 1,2,3. They booked us for a private party as my wife and I love to do them together. The facility was easy enough to find in a good area of Pembroke Pines. We drove about 30 minutes from Coral Springs and we were not disappointed! The owners are friendly and we chatted for about 10 to 15 minutes before we started the room. They have one room available the moment but they are opening their second one soon. The room we did was awesome. We loved how all puzzles fit the theme of the room. The flow of the game was great. I wont get too detailed and ruin any fun, but lets say it was challenging enough for us, and we consider ourselves to be enthusiasts. Make sure you go see them, youll have a great time!

I’m constantly looking for new rooms to go to and was excited to find this one so close to home. Newly opened; currently only has one room available, but it was worth it. Had so much fun. Room was very unique and interactive in a way much different from most. No spoilers. ;) Can’t wait until they open their next room which will have a horror theme.

IT was the best escape room I have been to. The props and accessories were great and the challenge was pretty tough but doable. We had to take some hints.

The room was a lot of fun and Lyn made the experience a good one. None of us had ever done an escape room before so we didn’t really know what to expect. Lyn,the owner, explained everything to us beforehand and would give us hints only if we wanted them. We successfully finished the room and really had a great time. This escape room was amazing! The details were important, so make sure to pay attention. The room is so unique and I’ve never seen anything like it. In order to escape, you and your team really need to work together and communicate clearly. Overall, I really enjoyed talking to the owners and solving all the tricky puzzles. I would 100% recommend it to friends and family. Also, I will definitely be returning to do the other escape rooms that Nexus has planned.

It was my first time at an escape room and the couple that runs the place made it a great experience. Together they built everything in the place and are humble people. There was a lot of cool gadgets and high tech clues. They make it a priority to make sure you have fun and feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back to any new rooms they make.

This was my first escape room and will definitely not be my last. From the moment you walk in you are emerged in an aquatic/steam punk theme. You are greeted by a friendly and excited staff who provide clear instructions and answer any and all questions. The attention to detail is amazing and you feel like youre actually in a different location. It was a nice team building experience that tapped into each persons individual traits, working together to escape. Im excited to check out any other rooms coming to this location.

We had a great time at Nexus Escape Room. Lauren and Lyn were awesome hosts. We have done many rooms in the area and this was one of the better quality rooms with great use of technology. Our group has done 150+ escape rooms at this point and we really enjoyed this one. We are a larger group so we loved that Cryptic Cay wasnt so linear. We experienced puzzles and things in the setting that we had never experienced before. The owners were also super nice! We will definitely be back for the other rooms once they open.

Lyn & Lauren are very sweet and guide you through the whole process, making the experience very personalized. I went with my husband and a group of friends, and we did the nightmare room. It definitely helps to have a calm one in your group, ha! This was also my first time trying an escape room, and I loved it! Theyll give you clues if youre really struggling, so you dont feel trapped (or dumb). Well have to come back to try the second room. I would definitely recommend!P.S. gets your clicks in before you start (youll understand what I mean when you get there)

Had such a great time at Nexus! The escape room set up was really well done, a cut above other escape room places I have visited. The facility was spotless and the puzzles were challenging, but really fun.We had a group rending in age from 24 to 54 and everyone was totally engaged in the game. Well done!!

I went with my 3 other friends for my birthday and we did the Cryptic Cay one and it was honestly really fun! All of us enjoyed it and the man at the front desk was very helpful before we started and during the escape room, it was an interesting experience being my first one and overall 8/10 would recommend! My friends also plan on coming back :) The guy who works there also gave me a black phoneholder with “nexus escape room” 3D printed on it for my birthday so cute!

My girlfriend and I recently went to Nexus Escape Room and were immediately blown away. Having done 100 escape rooms all over south and central Florida this facility is a MUST DO! From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a friendly, smiling staff and clean, well decorated lobby. We did their Cryptic Cay Room. It was a challenging, yet fun puzzle filled room with amazing scenery that kept you immersed into the story. Their puzzles were all relevant and so creative. The puzzle were all with original unique designs that you can tell took a lot of time and effort. Upon finishing the room we wanted more! We can’t wait to return for their future rooms. Great room Nexus Escape Room.

First I wanna say they where very nice and helpful staff, fun and friendly people. It was my first time in an escape room and I had a blast. Very fun experience and really puts your brain to the test. It definitely had its moments that where hard and you really had to think. Which I felt made it really fun. I had such a great time! It’s so much fun to do with a group of friends. They were very professional. We chose the scary room and it was so worth it!!!! It’s not too scary for beginners but still sent chills down my back! 10/10 would recommend and would return.

Such a fun experience! Definitely recommend. It’s such a creative little fun place owned by the sweetest couple. It’s challenging but doable, very advanced technology wise, and super interactive making you feel more involved in the game. As mentioned before, the owners are very sweet and they explain the rules in detail and help you along the way if it’s needed but they give you the option whether you want the help or not. Price is affordable and worth it for the experience plus the videos and pictures (with props!!) the owners kindly include with just the entrance price. The option for a private game with just your friends and family is also available at no extra charge, making them stand out since not many escape room places do this! I can’t wait to go back to try all the rooms.

These escape rooms have the best tech that Ive come across! Both of the main escape rooms are by far some of the best around. Their seasonal room: Saving Santa Paws is fun yet challenging. This company really makes you feel great about your entire experience in their rooms.

This is my 3rd escape room experience and I must say this was the best one. Loved the details. I went with my two boys and their grandpa and the boys really enjoyed it. They got to look for clues and worked as a team to escape.
