Easy to get to. The trail is not strenuous. Depending on which loops you take, you can take a short walk or hike for hours. The trails and turns are all very well marked. A great place to hike, take the dogs, mountain bike. I imagine in the winter it will be awesome for snowshoeing and cross country skiing as well.

This trail system provides an essential need in the valley. It provides recreational opportunities like hiking, biking, access to fishing and skiing in winter. It also provides a large green space for our community that promotes wildlife. You can see moose, grouse, ptarmigan, rabbit, owls and more while on a single trip through this treasure in the central valley.

Very nice trail system, each intersection was marked with a signpost, the trails were groomed and wide. We saw lots of Bald Eagles and Ravens the day we were out

Awesome !!!! Lots of different trails to take all well marked and trail length; Its conjoined with all of the matanuska/Kepler/Bradley lake trails so the system goes from the Palmer/wasilla hwy to the parks hwy. Nice wide trails for moutain bikes, horses, skiing in winter as well as for the average hiker. Very easy trails. !!!WARNING!!!! BRING BUG SPRAY!!!!! A lot of the trails are by wet areas so its literally a mosquito nursery. And dont forget your cash or pass for day parking.
