This was an absolute last minute idea to come and visit here before sunset. id suggest trying to come a little earlier and set up a spot or find parking because it was a little bit of a hassle when we showed up as the sun was already on its way down. if youre nearby though, i would suggest just taking the shore all the way around and enjoy the view.

I have to say that this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It was quite amazing. My four children found 1000s of shells, lots of beached jelly fish and hermit crabs. I would to go here many many more times!

This is where you can enjoy the beauty of the 17 Mile Drive without the slow pokes and entry fee. Free parking, priceless views, and Gods most beautiful ocean kissing the coast with fury and passion.

Another spectacular view of the ocean. I cannot say enough about the Monterey scenic drive. It is so picturesque that photos simply dont do it justice. Nearly every stopping point has views that will take your breath away. No crowded So Cal beach experience here. Close your eyes, listen to the waves crash against the rocks, witness the magnificent breakers and let yourself be transported.

Point Pinos Lighthouse sets on a hill surrounded by PG golf course and looks out over the course to the Majestic Pacific Ocean- all her beauty and amazing views. Is one of the most beautiful areas in California- let alone the West Coast. A must see and visit glad t ok call her home.

Spectacular views of the Pacific, and unlike a few miles up the road they dont charge you $10 to see it. Come as early or late as you want. If you are near Monterey, its worth the stop. Drive this route and enjoy the beauty for free.
