Peaceful beautiful, serene not overcrowded. Nearby cute coffee shops with very friendly locals and navy base families. Cool Dispensaries nearby! An amazing vacation destination with a small town feel. Love it!

Nice relaxing surf spot that’s good for the novice to learn, skilled surfers to play & dogs to run. Plus it has food & drink conveniences if you don’t feel like packing a lunch or changing into dry clothes for a short break from the fun.

A beautiful wide open endless beach. Surfing activities are fun to watch. I dont surf. Bathrooms and showers. A great place for families with small kids. Harbour is large and beautiful. Local vacation rentals are plentiful. Food and drink in walking distance. Parking is limited. A must beach to visit for this area. Fishing and Whale Charters here also.

One of the best beaches. It has its own small parking lot. They have restrooms. The beach is near the port. Down the street there is a liquor store. I believe the front gates close around 6:00 pm. They say they don’t allow pets. But I’ve seen a couple of dogs around with a leash. The best part is that you could actually walk about 50 feet inside the water and the water is hitting you barely by the stomach. Perfect!

Great beach. The waves are perfect for little kids. Going into the water, it is shallow for a few feet and kids can play with little waves without worry of a huge wave crashing upon them. No rocks, a bathroom in close perimeter and a shower to rinse off the sand. I highly recommend this beach.

Best beach in Port Hueneme and Oxnard. Dogs allowed after 6 pm or before 9 am. Lots of space but parking is limited. Outdoor showers and clean restrooms. Great place to surf and boogie board. Great Beach.

I love this little calm beach for my toddler. Its usually easy to find free parking. Dogs only allowed after 5pm though.

This is a beautiful public beach, but its tough to find parking. I recommend you park at the lot down the road by the marina and walk down. Theres a shower by the parking lot to rinse off and the water is close!

My home, come to shop and eat, but do not surf the break, Best west break in social. Its ours and locals will defend it, dont test this.Silver Strand is locals only, one way in and out, our families live here, please keep away out of respect for the neighborhood and our break.

Ive never heard of this beach before my daughter and her boyfriend took me down there and it was absolutely wonderful it was like private beach I think its more people that are rentals down there than anything perfect place if you want to get away from all the people

Its summer time! Just come as you are, bring snacks, sweets and plenty to drink. Relax and be happy!

Its a beach, theres sand and water. Not sure what else to say about it. They do keep the beach clean and groomed. When we go to the beach, its almost always that one.

Fun place for families but a bit windy at times. Get if you want to fly a kite. Surf can be fun for beginners, but can also be extremely dangerous on big swell days. Watch out for local surfer.

A beautiful beach that i spent most of my youth going to. Dog friendly and dogs can be off leash after 5pm. Very clean so please help keep it that way!!

At the far end of Channel Island harbor. Quiet beach, good sand. Parking lot is a little small but I have never had trouble.

Best beach around town.

It’s an unincorporated neighborhood nestled between the Naval Base and the Pacific Ocean. There is basically plenty of room for any family activity, or even a day out on the boat. There is a miniature manmade beach toward the beginning of the neighborhood, just around the corner is a selection of some pretty delicious foods. Unfortunately, Big Daddios is no longer open but I highly recommend The Jetty Surf Cafe and Quincy Street if you’re looking for a bite to eat. Overall it’s a quiet relaxing neighborhood. But, if you ever happen to catch yourself in the area on the 4th of July. You’ll run into a lot of fun! Just be respectful. I grew up here and wouldn’t have traded it for the world.

I loved this beach. But i dropped my red product iphone and its locked and you cant restart or do anything with it. Not even a phone call due to it being my International phone. Please if any one sees or have it please give it back. I have pictures plus i run my business off that phone. It would be much appreciated

This is a great beach. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because theres not enough parking. There is also a small beach in the harbor area with no waves if you have small children.

Great, except the kids smoking pot in the parking lot on Christmas. I dont care what you do but there are families with little kids around.Aside from that, lots of kite surfing. Nice waves. Good day.

Good sand quality, nice watch towers, and if you can get into the parking a short walk. A little chilly but thats common for Oxnard beaches.

Cool beach, but the construction takes away from the nature element. You could fly a kite here... Quick market within walking distance.

Our favorite beach in Oxnard. Beautiful walk along the water.

This is the perfect beach for swimming and boogie boarding for kids. Its not overcrowded, tons of parking, restrooms & outdoor showers. There are surfers & thats fun to watch. The beach is about a mile long, so a two mile walk from one end to the other and back.

I love Channel Islands Harbor I love the Silver Strand I love the Ocean Isle of the Dolphins I love the whales I love the Pelicans and I love all my friends who go sailing with me
