The resort was clean, comfortable, peaceful, swimming pool, hot tub and you can see the ocean from your unit as well as walking distance with a little playground with swings for the children. The staff is awesome, very helpful with any need or requests.

I have not stayed here but I live in the neighborhood and walk my dog past here almost every day. Located half block from the beach, ocean views from front yard, incredible succulent garden in the front yard, appears very well maintained.

The place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and a 1 min walk to the breach. Near by was a nice little brewery and restaurants. Excellent place to stay! We will definitely be returning.

Nice, open beach. There was a small playground area for little kids/toddlers. We came on a VERY windy day, so we didnt stay long. But it was nice and clean.

Finally updated the interior of the rooms somewhat. Nice new vinyl wood flooring. New paint. Just like with most time shares, you cant get out of your contract...

They did a beautiful facelift to an old run down apartment bldg. Jusy passed bye

Close to the beach, very quiet, amenities, pool, spa, clean rooms, towels are large and fluffy, not cheap- sandpaper. Wifi, cable, Netflix, smart TV. There is so much more to say, but I was to busy relaxing, enjoying my stay to see everything.

Very nice! Stayed in brother-in-laws time share. Just a beautiful place and near the water in Oxnard. As a time share owner, and paying by end of December, gets you 2 weeks, plus $150 for 2nd week cleaning fee.If you are willing to make a long term commitment as an owner and love to stay in a luxury residence, and with a great view, not far from wonderful restraunts, the Ventura waterfront and good and fun shopping, this is truly an unbeatable deal for value and enjoyment. We loved staying here!

We prepaid for our stay through GPX. The front desk closed at 6pm on Saturday and they let us get our room key after hours - great! However, the following Sunday morning, we got a call at 10:07am saying that check out was supposed to be 10am. We were told that we had to be out by 10:30am to avoid a $25/hr charge. The documents we printed from booking did not have check in or check out times. Nor did the papers they gave us when we got the room key after hours. We were also required to sign the registration/check-in paperwork upon checking out since we got our room keys after hours. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Location was great for a Channel Islands day trip. Our unit had a spa on the balcony. The building does show some age though. Our room stated it was good to sleep 4 but only had towels for 3 (because we used the spa at night, we had to share wet towels for showering the following morning). There is also a sandy beach right behind the unit we stayed in that wasnt busy at all. Nice and calm.

Had the blessing to stay in one of the few bottom floor ocean front suites. The service was a tad snobby as I dont look the part as far as being able to a Ford staying in such a room as that however it should not matter whether or not I look like like lol the point is my card is good and my cash clears. There was also a evening little gathering where we were given free drinks which obviously is always nice and was able to mingle with other guests and got to know our guests mates next door to us are still friends to this day because of the can action that Embassy help desk it is an amazing place to stay it is expensive unless youre staying in the ocean front room. And thats only if youre staying in the oceanfront rooms on the bottom floor as then your balcony is literally the ocean is amazing

We have been staying here for years as owners & never get tired of coming here. Beautiful sunsets, harbors to visit & watch boats, great bicycle riding trails, yoga in the local park, great location for enjoying the LA area, great choice of restaurants, driving access to the metro to go to the Pantages Theater, driving access to Santa Barbara pier & tours & local theater. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, and the semi-private pool and barbecue was nice as well. The neighborhood over all wasnt as nice as we thought it would be though, and the air conditioning in our unit was broken which was terrible during a California summer.

I went to dinner at a timeshare home my friend was staying in. The condo was nice, well furnished. It was a little dirty but I think that may of been my friends doing. The oven and dishwasher were in a bad position. Overall it looked cozy though and no one was in the pool.

My husband surprised me with a 2 night stay at the Mandalay Shores Resort the weekend of April 28th for my birthday. It was a perfect little beach getaway weekend as this place is 2 houses from the sand and very quiet, at least at this time of year.This place had 2 bedrooms and baths, a little kitchen and living area so it worked out great for us since we had our 2 yr old and 6 month old in tow. The place was clean, stocked with basics like toilet paper, extra pillows and blankets, coffee, even some dishes we could use if we needed. Basic cable TV and a great view of the pool/jacuzzi area. At check-in we were given 4 beach towels to use as well as a baby gate (which was a lifesaver) due to there being stairs.Overall we had a great stay at Mandalay Shores Resort and would not hesitate to come back!

I was visiting. The location was great, close walk to water, friendly residential area, short drive to eats & drinks, comfortable accommodations.

Rooms have been upgraded recently staff is friendly and the places right by the beach. Not much more you could ask for from a place like this. Also if you have issues theyll fix them if you let them know.
