The light house is over grown with trees and difficult to see from shore. The bridge is totly gone and you cant get close to it at all...A little disappointed. Was expecting to be able to see it better...

Not much here, but its called Asylum Point! I needed to stop and check it out at least once.

Stunningly beautiful. Sadly it is on private property but it can be seen rather easily.

Bridge to island/lighthouse is out. Nice quiet spot, will be 5/5 when footbridge rebuilt.

Cool location, the bridge is out at the moment but there are all kinds of other places to hike out there besides the island.

Nice viewing spot, ok for a date but a bit busy at times. Fair fishing.

Beautiful walk with the wife

Our family enjoys coming out here. There is a boat launch and people fish from all over. There is also a shaded, wooded area. It is not really maintained but still fun to explore! You can make it down to the water in multiple areas, just keep an eye out for fish hooks. The lighthouse and bridge to get there are currently closed but apparently there is a grant out there to restore it. This is a great spot to bird watch or picnic as well!

Wasnt really what we expected for a light house. Bridge is blocked off so you cant get close. Pretty lack luster over all. Nice area to check out in general on a nice day though.

Beautiful spot not well maintained though. It does have a rustic feel but not super inviting for family or extended periods of time. Even in the summer months.

If I were able to go up in the lighthouse and see how it works that would have been quite the experience. Unfortunately the doors are locked. On a positive note the area around there is peaceful and would be a great place to go for a walk with your mate, friend, child/children, or pet! Also the lighthouse makes for a nice background picture!
