Great way to see the Gorillas. They had a young one there while we visited and he was so cute. They were playing, napping, and just hanging out, but all seemed to take the crowds in stride. This is a great way to experience the animals and would be great for children and adults. It is also easy to access with wheelchairs and scooters for those who need it. This is a great experience
Really really nice. Take your time and enjoy all the hard work of the imagineers and the millions of dollars they spent on it. You wont regret it!
Very nice walk. Lots to see. Will go back.
A cool, rainy day so the family of apes was out and about! Great day for gorilla sightings...
So cool you have the option to bypass the family viewing to just go see the bachelor gorillas in the valley. (Do not depend on the men) Dont its worth the wait to see the babies up close.
ANIMAL KINGDOM DURING COVID:All of the precautions taken during the Covid 19 Pandemic are absolutely refreshing. Upon entering the park you have to get your temperature checked by and Advent Health professional. Theres tape on the ground to keep 6 feet between your party and the next. There are countless hand sanitizing stations throughout the parks. There is a new reservation process now, to control the amount of patrons that visit each park.Because the capacity is kept and controlled to a lower level, the wait time for all of your favorite rides are typically kept to under 25 minutes. We visited AK on August 2nd our longest wait time was ten minutes, that includes us riding Avatars Flight of Passage twice(max wait time was 10 minutes although the sign said 25 minutes), Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Kali Rapids, the Safari, and the Wildlife express. For someone who visits Disney about 4-8 times a year. I honestly love the crowd control, it makes for a better experience and you can literally ride every ride and do it in a timely fashion. If you have been wondering whether you should go to Disney or not, Im here to tell you that you should definitely visit while the crowds are being kept to a lower capacity, I assure you it will be better than any of your other visits to Disney. And of course with all the precautions you and your family should be kept safe from the virus.
Great short walk to see hippos underwater, & gorillas.
Cool rainforest. Seems real. So many animals beside gorillas.
Theres Gorillas. As advertised
This is a nice short little trail to check out when you need a break in Animal Kingdom...The Gorillas are some amazing animals and so much cooler to see in person. Theyre massive and super powerful. We saw 5 of them hanging out and walking around so we were able to get some pretty good pictures. Theres also multiple walk up aquariums that offer some great views of a ton of fish swimming around. The main aquarium room is huge with 3 main viewing windows of a big pond with plenty of exotic fish to see. We were also able to catch a glimpse of a hippo briefly. The meercats section was probably my favorite. Their high energy running around and theyre not afraid of the crowds. At times, it appeared they were posing for the everyone.Overall this is a great rain forest inspired exploration trail to explore. Like the Animal Kingdom in general, theres plenty of social media sections for the gram. Enjoy!
This is a nice trail to get away from the crowds and see the animals in their environment. Its not usually too crowded and theres a good deal of shade along the trail.
Lovely wee trail at Disneys Animal Kingdom with an amazing viewing area for the Gorillas. There was a baby cuddling its mother when we visited.
Nice quieter place of the park where you explore a bunch of animals. There are guides dotted around to teach you things. The whole area is mostly covered with trees so it is a good place to get away from the heat if its hot.
Wonderful to see the animals up close. Lots of friendly faces to keep you informed too.
We have been to Animal Kingdom several times and this most recent time was the first time we have done the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. Very enjoyable and a nice change of pace for small kids.
Not a bad little wander if you have the time and arent tired.
Very nice walk. Beautifully done.
This place is incredible. The wife & I really enjoyed the time we spent here. Definitely recommend!
Another one of the cool parts of Animal Kingdom that I had missed out on until now. Its a nice, mostly shaded walking trail that takes you to several different animal exhibits, including an enclosed bird area. It made for a good activity while we were waiting for one of our fastpass windows to open.
Impressive.
Live viewing animals in their natural habitat. Every time you go, you see something new and different. The Lions are my favorite but I like seeing all of the animals. Dont drop your phone because you will be unable to venture out to get it. Keep your camera steady and stay seated for the guided tour. If you dont have a fast pass, arrive by 9:00 am and wait usually is not too long relative to other times of the day. Think I will try same strategy for Avatar ride. That can be a few hours wait if you dont hit it right.
A gorilla sanctuary where we can learn about gorilla as well as other animals. Its fun and educational.
Love the safari at the animal kingdom. My kids also loved it. Dont miss it!
I think this might be the only great-ape zoo habitat Ive ever seen that didnt make me feel sorry for the apes. Interestingly, with all the space theyve got to move around in, some of them still like to hang out by the glass wall where they can watch humans.
Honestly the best zoo I have ever been to. The larger animals are obviously well cared for and have a ton of space to roam. The gorillas have a huge enclosure and it’s really cool to see them roaming around in dense undergrowth. I could not be much more impressed by this attraction.
Very Good to Wathe gorillas..No waiting time
Saw more activity than usual. The day was a little cooler.
A hidden gem! The attendant answered all of our questions about the gorilla family who were very active..and so many of them
Better than the safari ride...more hands on educational and you had more time to see the animals.
Beautiful gorillas
Another good experience here on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. Today we were working on the kids Wilderness Explorer patches and this Trail provided the kids 4 badges. The animals all seemed happy and the kids really enjoyed seing the bachelor and family group of gorillas. The bats were cool to see hanging from trees eating watermelon and drinking water. In not much for the interior buildings along the trails that have random animals like skinks and mole rats but I guess it adds to the experience for young kids.
Short, Quic, and Beautiful. A walking tour of aninals
Awesome trail! Very educational! Lots of different exhibits that you can enjoy at your own pace.
Went early to avoid the heat. Animals were out and about. Saw the baby black and white monkey and gorillas playing with pumpkins.
I really like the way the cast members take time to explain the exhibits and answer questions.
Definitely worth a stroll. Lots of fun
Its not a bad attraction, just that given the rest of the park has that adrenaline offerings that here you can rest while walking and enjoying a little of gorillas habitat and some inner showings.
Such a nice stroll to get some rest during the day, our toddler fell asleep in the stroller, and we got to appreciate the exhibits, especially the graciously floating hippo.
Very informative little trek. Has some portions that can get you out of the sun which is nice.
If the safari next door is the crown jewel of Disneys Animal Kingdom, this takes second place. Originally called Gorilla Falls (and some signs still show this nomenclature), this is a half mile shaded walk through showcasing duikers, okapis, a meerkat clan, gorillas, and more. Well worth your time.
View of the gorillas is really nice. A nice educational trail to take your kids to.
Nice walking trail to see many animals. This is a great place to get pictures and explore.
Amazing animals. i got some great pictures of the silverback.the staff members are friendly and informative. i learned how to say good night in the namibian click language from CAst Member Amanda!
Awesome rock climbing wall kids will love it.
Great for pictures and to take your time enjoying the views. Many different animals can be seen along trail.
Easy walking trail going through multiple animals habitats with staff members at all the major stops along the way to answer any questions you have about the animals
I enjoyed this. Nice walking trail to see a lot of animals.
Its a great way to get some exercise and a nice way to see lots of animals
Lots of educational information but it was too cold out for the animals.
There are many animals we couldnt easily see in nature.
Been coming here for a while and only recently found out about this place. Very cool trail.
