I enjoy coming for a meal or just walking around. Night time here is really enjoyable seeing all the stores and restaurants lit up. Starting to get more crowded which is nice to see people come out and things get back to normal but also can be little irritating navigating through tourists and families meandering about. There are places to take a break from masking up, no more walking about smoking though. Find a designated area or youll have some sort of security notify you on your injustice to civilization...Try not to buy everything you see. But def stop into Toothsomes next to Hard rock cafe! Universal Studios and Island of Adventure are located through City Walk. There is a peice of the Berlin Wall tucked away in here too.All in all nice fun area for an outing.
Loving the Comeback Classics! Great movies at a great price with great concession prices. Going for the third day in a row tonight! Hoping they put Terminator 2 back on the screens in the coming weeks! Would love to be able to see it on the big screen.Awesome job sanitizing and keeping everyone safe!
Love how big the movie theater is and how you are able to take your mask off during the movie to enjoy your food.
This is definitely the best cinema room Ive ever been in my life. Staffs are very friendly and happy all time, chairs are very clean and well maintained, the screen has a high stand quality. If you are an audiophile just like me, you will love the high-low sound balance. If I could improve something here I would just regulate a little bit the AC, as after long hours watching the movie it becomes to cold.
They brought back some old movies to enjoy and the prices are great. You pay for parking, but they refund the cost of parking at the customer service desk when you purchase 2 tickets to the movies.Lots of employees keeping everything clean. Masks required. Seating separated by space in between groups.
Love this cinemark, but common guys - why would you put temperature that low? Me and my husband literally start freezing. We had to leave on a middle of the movie because it was impossible to enjoy it in this cold. We left and saw 2 more couples leaving because of the same reason
An excellent movie theater that shows new releases and classic hits. Conveniently located right in the middle of the Citywalk.
Very clean and nice seating, watched Hocus Pocus and it was an experience!
The theater was spotless! The seats are recliners so it makes the viewing more enjoyable.
Parking will keep the place from ever getting 5 stars from me. After 6 you should be able to just park where you want in the deck and not have to deal with being treated like cattle. The theater is nice with very comfortable seats. Some of the employees are very nice while others are just rude but there seemed to be more nice than rude employees.
Very cool to be at the park and take in the latest Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts movie. The staff was friendly and helpful. The theater was clean and the seats were comfortable. The bartender mixes a good drink but like any theater you pay a higher rate for it. The popcorn was ok. A large portion of our bowl was burnt which is the reason for the 4 star review. Overall a very fun experience.
Very nice theater. Great to see classic films on the big screen again!
5$ for the throw back movie we just saw nightmare on elm street.. next up hocus pocus Monday night.. clean and even discounts at the concessions but cards only no cash..
Comfortable seats! and they also went out of their way to print me another ticket when I wanted it as a keepsake!
I went to one of the $5 movies in the afternoon. I believe there were about 5 people in the whole theater. There was a family of 3, two adults and one child. They were very noisy and talked the whole time. I could hear the kid talking more like yelling the whole time I was there. I was so frustrated and told the front desk/manager, but the people never quieted down. I had had enough and left midway through the movie and wont be back.
I sense that they are short staffed considering how busy it can be on a Tuesday night and the line is long with just one person working the box office.Normally this theater is pretty decent but I am really disappointed right now. However everyone is very courteous. Thanks for doing $5 Tuesdays!
I was so impressed with the size of the theater and the seat arrangements. Very spacious and cozy at the same time! The entire facility was very clean and the staff were friendly. As someone that has worked in hospitality for too many years, they are doing an excellent job!
This was the best experience we had at any movie theatre. The chairs reclined and it was more relaxing to watch a movie. The prices were also great for what you get.
Fun theater to visit while youre at CityWalk. The only downside is they are very stricken about not allowing outside food or drinks. I had just gotten a Starbucks drink to bring to the theaters., and I couldnt bring it in. It was also awkward ordering popcorn without having a cashier roll their eyes and make it obvious they didnt want to be there. Oh well.Anyways! The Batman Movie was awesome and the theater was kept clean which was nice. They also have claw machines downstairs that are not rigged, we have won many times!
Theater is empty. Be sure to buy your tickets online
It was cold.... Money wasted me the wife and 3 couples left mid movie
Went to see Midway. Enjoyed the movie. Recliners were good. The down side was how cold it was in the cinema. I had to zip my light coat up even the tip of my nose was cold. It made a super experience a mediocre one. I couldnt wait to get outside where it was a lot warmer.
The theatre is decent. It does not have recliner chairs like most new theatres but they are getting them this summer. The arm in between seat is movable and can be lifted up so you can share the movie seats with your guest. This is a nice feature I like to have. The theater temperature was comfortable and we did not need a blanket to stay warm while watching the movie like a lot of theatres do now.
In order to get your parking refunded, there is a specific receipt required. Parking gives you multiple receipts but there is a specific. This was not specified when we told the parking attendant upon entering. This was not specified by the movie theatre when they sent us back to the car to get it. It wasnt specified until returning from the car a second time. So now we have to go back to the car and Ive missed the first 40 minutes of the movie. They refuse to do anything to accommodate seeing as how I now wont even get to see half the movie. This has been the worst experience Ive ever had and no way I would come back nor recommend this place.
Nice theater, if you see a movie in an auditorium with recliner seats. When I had a complication getting reimbursed for parking, two managers showed up when there was a call for a manager. My movie-mate was deaf. Having had many problems with the closed caption devices, I asked the manger to test the device. She followed up and made sure the device was working within seconds of the main feature starting.Prices at his theater are average. Parking at Universal costs $25 per day. If you see a movie between 12 noon at 6pm youll get reimbursed for parking, but dont loose your receipt. Paying for parking would be a tragedy at those prices. This theater gets a very rare 5-star review, mainly for comfort and customer service.
The seats are so nice and squishy
Comfy seats, Movies, And the options of treats, food, and drinks. Together they make a perfect location for whoever is looking for a nice theater to watch! :)
This is a Great Cinema, Ive been here a few times and loved the quality of service and seating. However, I was disappointed during Halloween horror nights. As universal charges for parking at $25 before 6pm most of the year. The cinema offers a refund of 2 Matinee tickets if you buy a ticket for the cinema during this period. Which is good, However if you go to the cinema during universal halloween horror nights you are charged the normal $25 dollars for parking until 11pm. You would expect the cinema would extend the times for the Matinee offer during this period. However, this isnt the case and you end up paying $50 dollars plus for your cinema experience.
A really innovative theater experience that I really enjoyed. Buy your ticket online and just walk in and they take your ticket right before you enter the theater. Much simpler than all the kiosk nonsense.
The only negative thing I have to say is trying to find somewhere to park when you only want to come and see a movie. Its not worth it to park in the parking garage, and sometimes Uber can be just as bad depending on where youre getting picked up and how long it takes to get there.
Lovely Cinema, new recliners are fabulous. Absolutely freezing during the movie. Your a/c is far too cold to sit in for the duration of a movie. Also person inside selling tickets was unfriendly
Theres good restaurants here.
Outstanding customer service. Super clean. They do not have the reclines seats but they are gonna installs them. Fresh popcorn. If you buy matinee show they will reimburse the parking fee. This is the best movie theater in Orlando Florida. This place is worries and drama free... management is super awesome they will take care of you.
The ticket booth needed a couple more people . But the concession area was great. The theater .. the sound system was great along with the recliner chairs !! The only problem was the a/c must have been set in 50 .. people had blankets with them
I brought my kid on the last day of visiting Universal studio and watch Frozen II movie in this theater, the environment is good at this place. I purchased one medium prop corn with two large drinks, the priced charged is $20, after the movie I noticed they didn’t scan my membership when checked out, so I went back to them, Cinemark membership supposed to get 20% on the concession purchase. One manager came out and told me the food I purchased worth $24 dollars, and I already got my discount!!! I went back to hotel and checked online, only found out he just lied to my face, I COULDN’T find anywhere list the price he told me. Just because I’m traveling from other state and probably won’t come back again in next one or two years, doesn’t mean the staff there can treat customer like this. I’m cancelling the membership and will never come back to Cinemark again. Not recommended.
This movie experience was good except it was freezing in the theater. I got up and left halfway through the movie it was so cold. I asked twice for them to turn the ac down but it never warmed up.
Just wow! A great place for family and friends.
Best movie theater EVER!
The theater itself is huge with comfy seats. The kettle corn was the best I have ever had. It was sweeter than the store brands and it even hardens with a sugary shell. Some of the pieces tasted like roasted marshmallow. We had an incident with some of the patrons and the management was friendly and understanding. They resolved the issue to our liking. I recommend this place if you are in the area and want an enjoyable experience.
I don’t know where to start my husband and I have been planning to come here since we got our annual passes what a disappointment we ordered and fries and mozzarella sticks and potato wedges that were extremely soggy and only got 2 mozzarella sticks when we go in the movie theater it wasn’t fresh it smells old and stale in there. I’m so disappointed you don’t want to go to a movie theater break the bank and not recieve the quality that is deserved
Again so much fun. Theres a mix of people, friendly and fun! Fun for adults & fun for kids! Well fun, fun, fun! It can also be romantic!
Love the fact its located right by our hotel in Universal! The theater is huge inside! The seats were comfy. The best part, the prices were not crazy expensive!! The movie prices were cheaper for us there than back home in Chicago! We loved it so much we saw two movies!
Comfy reclining seats!
Staff was very helpful and friendly and the venue was very cleanThe reclining chair was very comfortable
Me and a group of friends got kicked out for no reason they said it was because we were disturbing some guest but some of us including me didn’t do anything and the manager said we had to call to get our refunds because we got kicked out by the security and we couldn’t stay there not even to get a refunds And now they’re saying that we can’t get a refund because we got kicked out For something that we didn’t do.Terrible customer serviceAnd discrimination
Easy to buy tickets - online or at box office. Skip the line by buying at the automated kiosk. They have recliner seats. Great experience
We thought since the theater is in the universal area it wouldve been nicer. It was hot in the stadium and we went late in the evening to watch toy story. The restroom wasnt very clean either but could be due to it being later in the day and just wasnt cleaned again yet... it wouldve been nice to have a more unique set up since its in a tourist area with all the universal studios traffic.
I rarely go to theaters and was pleased when we entered this place. This theater has two floors with escalators and elevators that makes it very accessible. The bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. It was an enjoyable experience
Very comfortable theater, good sound and huge screens! Ticket prices are about to be expected for a large city theater in a tourist area. Concessions are a bit on the steep side but not horrendous. Would recommend if your in the area and want to see a flick.
I purchased tickets online and when I got to the theater an employee was at the entrance telling me they were closed. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I couldnt. What kind of manager wont come speak to one of his pre paying patrons. Its your job to talk to the customers. Then I used points on my movie club membership for a concession item that they wont refund back so now those are lost. BUYER BEWARE these people will steal your money! Stay away everyone
Its a mind-boggling theater absolutely amazing inside it looks so amazing they have upstairs downstairs is really nice movie theaters on the expensive side but yeah definitely worth taking out some on a date or maybe just takes. I dont know its pretty cool man
So we get to city walk around 8pm just to find out they are STILL charging for parking. How much you ask....$26 d/t Halloween horror nights. Apparently hours are extended to make more money..and they don’t take in account some people come just for city walk or in this case specifically for a movie.I refuse to pay $26 for a movie that cost $13per ticket. Annoyed...I called the movie theater at city walk and spoke with the manager Chris Schneider (I’m sure I spelled the name wrong). I spoke to him about the situation and he was very accommodating and allowed us to grab a different showtime ..after 10 (free parking). We arrived there and we had no issues getting to our movie. It was really refreshing to see that some people still have GREAT customer service!
Beautiful location - very clean & great seats!
This movie theater is odd to me. When you walk in its very dark and dim it looks like something thats 20 years old. The manger I assume shes a manager based on the way she was dressed was rude to the person in front of me over a discount, and she wanted to argue with him over and over just give the man the discount. The sound system was very weak it had absolutely no Bass. Absolutely no reason to go to this movie theater unless youre already at CityWalk.
I have been attending this theater for years and the new theaters are literally the best I’ve ever seen this is the best place to view a movie hands down. Thank you guys
What do you want on cinema? Movies and... YES!! POPCORN! I pay almost $40 in popcorn for the entire family.... the worst popcorn eved! I returned to change all popcorn for fresh one and for my surprise the employee trow all the 5 buckets into the fresh popcorn machine... yes!! The popcorn that all mi kids touch he trow it again on the fresh machine and move all popcorn again to give me the same... I just left the store and dont take the popcorn... sooo loose my money. I miss AMC!
Good movie theater me and my wife really enjoyed this theater
Love the new theater seats! Theater has more room to walk in!
AMC universal is a best movie theater ever for there hospitality, I am customer here for more than a year now and always watching movie almost every week and I m also a stubs premium member for that same period but this all membership thing started with this specific person Name: Mis ROSO, very helpful smiling lady, she being with great professionalism all the time welcomed me always made me feel special all the time, helped me explained me and persuaded me to join membership in AMC, after than I newer been disappointed with this membership....thank you Mis ROSO
This is the best theater to go to to watch a movie and get the best movies and to relax into a theater with recliner chairs and you can pick your own set
Great theater, great bar and the bartender was very very good
The concessions, staff and overall cleanliness is fine, but the theater itself is so disappointing now. I like the recliners, but the screen is small/blurry and the sound quality is just awful. I get that its a standard showing and not XD or IMAX, but it still should *not* be that quiet. And like another reviewer said on here, you can literally hear yourself breathing, even during a louder scene. Also they leave the lights completely on during the previews and keep the audio low -- another con for someone like me who enjoys watching the trailers before it starts. I definitely liked this theater a lot more when it was AMC and not Cinemark.
Recently refurbished including amazing theatre seats.
️ I love this place, it’s like have your own cinema, comfortable, clean and friendly people what else can I ask?
The theater is a little dated but it is about to get a big refurbishment. I love all the old movie posters around the theater and the overall feel. It is in a great location being at City Walk and parking is free after 6 on most nights.
Saw Bohemian Rhapsody here. Great experience. Awesome theater.
Fairly nice. Big front entrance and nice staff. Good way to relax after a day walking around the parks. Where this place lacked on my visit... our theater was poorly cleaned. And they are still using old rickety chairs?! Every other cinemark has switched to the big comfy recliner. Why they havent switched at a place like universal is just stupid. Upper management needs to get on the ball.
Asst. Manager Danielle was super helpful with the special needs party of war Veterans I was with. Very compassionate and took the time to explain and help will all our needs. One of the best people Ive met in the customer service business.
Great location close to some amazing restaurants and bars at Citiwalk
If I spend $40 at a movie theater (tickets and concessions) I expect to be able to use the restroom after the movie. I dont appreciate being told to go outside to use the restroom.Terrible customer service. If this is how Cinemark operates its theaters then I will gladly spend my money elsewhere!
Terrible theatre. Expected high ticket prices since its in Universal. But the food is priced higher than normal too. And its served by grumpy employees, all of which look miserable and are very short with you. None of them seemed approachable at all. The theatre is big but empty and very dimly lit making it seem almost vacant. Thankfully, the auditorium our movie was in was in good shape and was what you would expect and our movie experience went well. Very disappointed and upset with the experience.
Great service lines were a bit too long
Great experience, nice theater, large layout. The whole experience was quite comfy, though the only thing keeping this place from a 5 star rating are the missing modern amenities seen elsewhere these days, such as power reclining seats, or in-seat dining service. Also, getting an IMAX back would help.
Completely understaffed! Only one register open at prime time viewing. Especially when the most popular movie End Game has just released!! What a freaking let down!
This used to be a great theater but since Cinemark took over from AMC it has gone way downhill. I went to see Avengers Endgame today and waited 20 minutes to pick up my tickets because they had one window open servicing a very long line on a weekend. They also only had one person working at the food and drinks line and no one at the guest services desk. The place was not clean and it felt run down. The main bathrooms were closed with no directions to the only other bathrooms which are hidden in the back upstairs. The theater seating is old and the sound in their biggest theater was terrible. They are advertising reclining luxury seating coming soon but you have to reserve and pay extra for it even though its standard at most other theaters. Sad to see such a great theater get such a bad treatment from Cinemark. Miss the service and quality of AMC.
Everything is at your fingertips! Love this place & the feeling of safety!
Great place to see movies in an exciting environment.
I enjoyed the movie I went to see. The food stand for hot meals is under staff, long wait time. Theater needs an update. Great customer service from the server.
Great theater with a full bar and decent food selection, Tuesday is $5 movie night and parking is free after 6pm for anyone just wanting to see a movie without paying theme park parking fees.
This was a good movie theater and they serve alcoholic beverages to boot. After a long day at the park it was nice to chill and watch a movie as I dont get to visit the movies frequently at home. The size of this theater is quite impressive, probably one of the larger theaters I have been in.
Nice... but the seats could do for some updating. The chairs in theater 18 were pretty cracked up and uncomfortable since I had on a skirt. But the food and drinks were reasonably priced for a movie theater.
Idk but I think the seats we had were kinda old than the ones they actually were advertising. Other than that, it was great experience. 4.5stars
Convenient location. Fast ticket. Concession stand needs redesign or reorganization, but it has lots of snack options. My only true negative is I wish they had revamped the theaters with lounge seating like all the other ones and had at least one dine-in. Id be there more often.
Recliner seats didn’t work & no one ever entered the theatre to assist. Other then that the theatre was nice.
This theater discriminates. We brought outside drinks and was told we couldnt bring them in, which is understandable so while I was dumping out my cup a family walked right in each with a filled cup in tow and not a word was said to them.
This place is massive with 20 different screens hot food from pizzas to nachos popcorn with fresh melted butter you have it all. day time around 2pm when its very hot especially if you have young children is the best time to go you have the place to yourself its not expensive and well air conditioned so clean and tidy friendly staff and best of all free flowing soda the children love these machines
First off I will say its best to go there after 6pm because parking is free if you are only going for movies. The city walk experience is a very nice one. Lots of places to see without entering the park itself. I went there to watch a movie, BTW be prepared it is a large movie theater, after the movie was over I was able to walk around and check out the area before heading home. You will 100 percent like the theater and city walk. Before I forget in order for you to get to city walk or theater you will be security screened like the airport. So help everyone including yourself and be prepared.
Easy to tell this is a “Universal” spot and not “Disney”. Disney would never tell you to stand outside in dangerous weather - they would encourage you to be sheltered from severe storms.
Went to go see Avengers Infinity War here and they told us a group of 10 people that they were sold out for the 10pm showing. So we each got individual tickets and we all got tickets except for 1 person. So we go back to the counter and tell the woman there we all got tickets but our one friend. She said they were still sold out and couldnt get her in so our friend left. When we watched the movie the theater wasnt even 2/3 full!!! We werent happy and you better believe we wont be back again unless they figure out a way to fix their ticketing system.
Stay clear of this place. Rude and disrespectful worker answered the phone i asking questions about the theater cuz i never been there this rude women hang upon me The whole company is terrible . Ghetto theater AND COMPANY..
They need temperature control, its either too cold or too hot, please find a middle ground. Other than that movies was great, and i didnt know we could bring food inside the theatre but the point of doing that is to save money, so if everything in the park is over priced might as well buy what they got in the theatre.
Love the upgrade, keep up the good work
Great staff and fill bar. Great place to see End Game.
They are getting new seats so it will be even mire comfortable than ut was b4!
Other than the worn out seating this is a solid theater. Its in a great spot and has good pricing on Tuesdays.
Absolutely love this place. Super clean, great location and they have a bar. Enjoyed my movie even more. Definitely recommend.
