I have been visiting SeaWorld Orlando since the end of December 2019 and I finally got to ride Journey to Atlantis for the first time three weeks ago.I couldnt wait to say that I was very IMPRESSED with this ride. I just love how beautiful the details of the interior scenery looked. Its got the elements of a meandering boat ride, boat chute, and roller coaster with splashdown all in one ride package.Journey to Atlantis is definitely a lot more fun a d exciting that the Jurassic Park river Adventure at islands of adventure.I definitely recommend that you ride Journey to Atlantis if you arrive at the park at opening time in the morning thats when theres no wait to ride.

I love it how this is the best water ride at seaworld orlando. I like how this one has indoor building of the ride where you can see colorful sea and land. Maybe one day they can this ride Refurbishment with new dark ride elements. The music is so beautiful inside the ride.

This water ride - coaster hybrid has a lot to offer, and is quite family friendly. It has majestic and ambient Atlantic theming indoors, a beautiful structure to look at offride, and thrilling drops that will likely have you soaked by the end. Unfortunately, the effort to make the ride family friendly has been subtractive rather than additive. The theming of the siren with a Medusa head has all been turned off or removed, and replaced with nothing. For my nostalgic self, Journey to Atlantis is a shadow of its former self, though still fun. But if you dont have rose tinted memories of being scared to death by a medusa looking mermaid creature, this ride is excellent for all family members and is widely appealing and thrilling.

Currently closed as of 06-12-2020 looks like it’s due to sea world not having enough employees to run the park a lot of restaurants are currently closed today as well . Although today is the second day back open there are still many long wait times due to if you are only a single rider they use one hole row of seating for just you and a few aorher rides are currently closed. They are keeping the park clean for the most park but food quality was low before the three month closing of sea world now the food is at all time low as most employees are new and do not having much or any training.

The staff working at this ride are so courteous and delightful.

Tore my thighs up with bruises and swelling keep your legs straight and extended do not sit in a comfortable relaxed way or your legs will slam against the boat when the boat hits a certain corner on the ride. Im so sore today never got hurt from a ride before.

I love this ride! As a kid I used get on this ride multiple times sometimes they let me sit in the same car and ride it multiple times. You do get wet so be prepared 10/10 ride.

We love this ride wish they wouldve kept the original with medusa and Figaro the seahorse. This is the best and only water ride SeaWorld had for many years since Ive visited, good thing they added Infinity falls!

Great ride that rivals the experience of splash mountain with a 5-10 minute wait time They do run a scam where they dont give you an option to put knapsacks on the side like every other ride in the park - forcing you to rent a locker. * since writing this review I watched the POV for this ride and it seems like some of the light/sound effects were not in use I hope they maintain their rides. Such A Great Experience! One Reason I Really Love It, Is Because Youre In The Dark At One Part And Suddenly Out Of Nowhere Light Appears And You Drop 60ft! Unexpected And It Deserves 5 Stars.100% Recommend It.

This my favorite ride in SeaWorld it was fun, fast, and scary. You will be very wet though but not really on the big drop its the tiny ones that get you. But medusa wasnt working

I went to it once, but I couldnt stand up after I got out because of the long drop that the boat drop I went on I almost fainted when I got out, but it was kind of fun, but terribly scary. And also, the inside rollercoaster was interesting as well but it was still scary and it was also in the dark, too. I wouldnt want to go again because it was just scary. Maybe the inside rollercoaster wasnt all that scary, but the long drop was the worst omg. Oh well. I survived.

Nice attraction to go to. You will get soaked guaranteed.

Got SOAKED... not wet but SOAKING. Great time. Too bad Medusa wasnt working :(

Im not a fan of rides that get you wet but this is still a good place to go and have a look. They have a small but interesting take at an aquarium with moon jellies, eels and a glass floor and ceiling where fish and rays swim by, plus a gift shop. The gift shop is mostly about clohing and accessories.

What a great ride. I have one problem with this ride though even though its not a major flaw. This ride could be a ton better if they made it longer. They could add a section where the track goes around in front of the huge building up in the air, much like Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom and Dudley Do Rights at Islands of Adventure. Add a bit more to the ride, like a medium drop, and you have the best flume ride ever. Right now, it sits at #3 behind Dudley and Splash but with what I just said, the ride would be complete and jump up to #1

Pretty darn good. The ride has changed over the years. Much of the animatronics in the dark ride portion have been removed and replace with cheesy fluorescent paint and black lights. The giant sea witch doesnt move anymore and just sits there un-lit like you are not supposed to notice it. But, you know the ride actually seems better than it used to be. Maybe its the new funky middle eastern music that reminds me of the opening scene in Adam Sandlers classic film You Dont Mess with the Zohan. Real man can ride Atlantis and Disco at the Same time! DISCO DISCO!!!!

A bit out dated, and there isn’t really a story, but all falls and drops are exciting not matter how big or small. Great first ride for younger kids!
