I absolutely LOVED this place. We didnt arrive until about two hours before closing, but we still were able to go through the majority of the events. Soo glad we were there around Christmas time. Crayola has always been my favorite and sharing this with my little ones was awesome. Last time we visited only the store was open, so I am glad we made this our first stop of the trip. Definitely worth coming from open to close or multiple visits! I do wish there was a dedicated gift or shop area, though. I dont recall seeing just one place to rummage through items for purchase.

This is a really cool place to visit. The store is located in the Florida Mall and when you enter it it is full of bright colors and they are crayons everywhere very creative things for you to color and draw. for an extra price you can do the experience which allows you to make your own crayons shows you how crayons are made etc. The whole back wall of the Crayola experience store is full of every color crayon you could imagine and you can pick your own pack and make the crayons colors of your choice I would like to definitely return to this experience.

Some of the attractions are not open which is disappointing. They cleaned the stations and tools. I think they should find a way to open the playgrounds and limit the time of use and limit kids per session. Clean everything after each session. We spend 1.5 with our 3 year old. I think a 5 year old would enjoy it more. Crafty kids probably could stay all day.

We were so excited based on the almost exclusively-positive reviews! I know covid-19 has disrupted the balance of many things, including this place (the play areas were closed, stations closed, restrictions on other things, masks, etc); but that didn’t bother me as much as the aged feel of the place and the misleading descriptions on the website, among other things.First of all, the stations look as if they haven’t been updated since it opened. All the stations had a layer of crayon and grime and just looked dingy. It was on the verge of being that feeling you get when you walk into a bad thrift shop — like you need a bath. It’s very strange because the first floor (entrance, restrooms, gift shop) looked beautiful. In that way, it’s like they are purposefully misleading consumers. We decided to try the sand art which is an additional $5 charge per person. The woman barely said a word to us and when she did it was rude and dismissive. She practically threw open the lid to the sand station and went right back to her phone. Whatever, that’s fine, but then we looked at our choices of sand. Womp womp womp. We had four or five containers of purple and one container of green. We literally had TWO colors to choose from. The drip art station is portrayed on the website as being somewhat customizable and creative: an image of a lion with its mane being a rainbow of melted crayons. In reality you’re asked to pick TWO crayons and directed to a machine where you place a circle of card stock and your crayons inside. It then melts and drips onto the spinning paper. Hardly creative, let alone exciting. At the Scribble Scrubbie station, only two markers worked well enough to color on our pet. We requested another set, just to find that all of those are dried-up as well. We decided to just take our pets home to color them. Many of the markers at the Model Magic station were dry as well. You would think that a business that specializes in crayons and markers could ensure that all/most of the markers are new and in working condition. The best parts were the stations that actually worked and inspired creativity, despite their other flaws — like the Model Magic and crayon creation stations. I did like that you could purchase extra clay or crayons at only $.50, but the token machines required cash only with no card readers or change slots — considering they have a “CASHLESS” sign on the entrance! Not to mention two were out of order. In conclusion, we went expecting to spend half a day, but we were ready to leave in just two hours. It was entirely lackluster to say the least. My husband and I both looked at each other and said, “I’m so glad we didn’t get the passes!”

This place is huge. We weren’t expecting a whole lot, but once you get up on the second floor the place seems to keep going and going. There are a lot of things to do and see. You can make your own crayon wrapper. You can draw with a melted crayon. You can melt crayons and spin them on to a paper. You can melt a crayon down into shapes. They had a ring, car, seahorse, and shark. It was a fun time.

We love stopping in to the Crayola experience nearly every time we are in Orlando! It is such a great place to bring the Kidos when the weather is either to hot or rainy! The price is AMAZING, for only 30$ you can get an annual pass, they offer a military discount and often have free days for military or first responders! This is such a great place for the little ones to get some energy out and some education too! They do a good job of changing things up too, this keeps the kids engaged on repeat visits! We have a 5 & 7yrs old.If you want to go walk around the mall for a bit and return you can do so with a hand stamp. This is especially good for lunch and dinner time as you can go to the mall food court for more food options, the food at the crayola area didnt have a lot of choices if you have picky eaters and the prices are about the same as the mall food court.I reccomend this for anyone looking for something fun thats not theme park related.

Details need polishing. First experience was fun and exciting. Next less so as we had technical problems with the printer. At the crayon melt, the equipment was not being cleaned well enough between customers. Previous colours of wax were evident in the newest mold. There was a shield building craft that looked interesting, but no one could finish it because it involved cutting the paper and the provided scissors had no edge to cut the paper. Also disappointing was the colouring stations. After hours of use by others, there were no sharp crayons left. It would have been nice to have the buckets includes a Crayola crayon sharpener. The food we had for lunch was a slice of pizza and a hot dog, with a plastic mug that was bottomless. The pizza was cold and unassuming. The mug was a great option for a family if sharing is an option; We refilled it five times.Overall, it was a good experience. It would have been better if the smaller details were polished and brought to a higher level of excellence.

Theres a great mix of real and digital activities, some even combining the two. They arent shy with the supplies either. Thousands of crayons, markets, chalk, paint, etc. There is no shortage of stuff to do with kids just about any age. They have 2 play areas with nets, slides, climbing areas, etc. One for toddlers and one for larger kids.We checked out the crayon making demonstration which was a really cool mix of live and digital. Okay. As far as the experience, this place really gets 5 stars. Its spacious, so you dont feel like people are on top of you. There are plenty of stations to keep your children entertained. The food from the cafeteria is pretty good. Where they should get a 1 star is there are no safety measures to make sure that the child leaves with the same adult they came with. Even chuck e cheese has a simple measure for that. It would be very easy to implement as there is one way in (one person to check you in) and one way out (one person to either direct you through the store to the mall or back to the front of the building). With kidnapping and child trafficking a real issue, lack of safety measures should drop this review to a one star. The other thing is that the tellars at the ticket/ pass line are super super slow. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes on a good day. Other than that, the price is reasonable. A basic season pass is only slightly more than a regular day ticket plus you get perks like discounts on food, parties, etc.All in all, we ended up with passes. Im a helicopter mom so I watch my kids like a hawk, but Id still think it would be responsible to add a simple safety measure.

It was a little over an hour drive for us and I dont feel like it was worth an annual pass, I was considering upgrading but changed my mind. I dont think parents should have to pay full price, maybe a half price or something like that. Some of the stations were closed and some didnt work (in the lab). There were also no employees in the lab area to ask for help. Some things are an extra cost when you get inside. The employees were pretty 50/50. Some were happy to help and some acted like you were bothering them. The food is overpriced cafeteria food and wasnt even hot. Also, when we walked in there was only one employee helping guests and we had to stand in line for almost 30 minutes when it wasnt even that crowded. All in all, Im glad my son had fun and Im happy he liked it, I just dont think its worth the drive for us again.

A nice place for kids to bring forth their creativity. We had a nice time, and enjoyed the show in their theater, where they showed how they make crayons.Theres an indoor playground, interactive stations where you place your coloring page in a transfer screen and you can watch your coloring come to life.Theres also a 10 Step challenge for older kids. In this section, you need to complete 3 different riddles, games..critical thinking games, within 30-60 seconds to advance to the next station. Theres another section within where you can melt crayons and make your own design. Two tokens are given with the price of admission, which may be used to print a label of your design that youll place on your own named crayon or you can also you it to buy crayola molding clay to make something in the tables provided with clay tools for shaping.Theres also a concession stand, where they sell two types of frozen drinks for the kiddos, nachos with cheese, popcorn, soda, chips.Best bet, buy the souvenir cups so you can get ?.99? refills and ?.99? A part of the cafe table was broken, so the iron part protruded and my pants were torn. But she said she couldnt do anything about my torn pants. I said my pants were new, less than a month old, but her reaction was tiresome. Loads of activities to do for kids & big kids (adults) Not an expensive day out and with a cafe serving good food which is also not expensive Id definitely say worth a visit.Only bad point is its not the easiest to get there if dont have a hire car as a can fare may be expensive & buses may be a few change overs Im not sure

I am a 25 turning 26 year old child.. and this place was super fun! Me and my dad were just passing through and it caught my eye and we stopped in to see what it was all about. I am glad we stopped. Had a blast!

Decent experience but kind of pricey for two people. This place is on the end of Florida Mall and you cant miss it. Im not going to spoil it for anyone thats never been, so i wont go into detail of what we did. All I can say is you have to experience it to justify the cost. Overall my daughter had fun and walking through the mall was another experience for another review.

What an...experience. it was awesome. This place was very different and unique. Way better than a discovery museum. My kid loved every moment of it. I love how they have the history of crayons and how they teach about making crayons. A bery interactive place for sure. Very underrated place. People need to come here more especially with kids.

If you have kids I would definitely recommend this. Surprisingly a lot to do and admission is reasonable. We had a blast. Lots of fun things to take home too.

Nice place, my kids loved it, BUT they need to do something when you buy tickets from Groupon so they can scan the bar code from the app not to stay at 2 lines(FIRST to get their tickets and after that to stay again to enter the playground), its really not easy to wait twice with small kids!
