Fabulous art school!!! I have 2 daughters, (ages 7 & 5), that have been attending for 2 years and they absolutely adore this school and their teacher Ms. Michelle. The studio is set in a very comfortable environment for all ages. Michelle not only displays outstanding skill for teaching, but also provides a wonderful learning experience! She is excellent at showing my kids how to improve their drawing techniques and educates my kids about their pictures, ex. explaining how trains work and operate as they draw one. I would highly recommend this school to students of all ages and look forward to my children continuing their path at Prairie Art Studio.

My 13 year old son is thriving in his drawing skills under the tutelage of Michelle at Prairie Arts Studio. The space is inviting, the class size is just right and the projects hes brought home are amazing. This studio has been key in uplifting his self-esteem and encouraging him to pursue his love of art. I would recommend this studio to anyone from novice to experienced.

So happy we found this beautiful studio! Ms Michelle taught my daughter new skills each week and in return my daughter became more confident in her drawing. We enjoyed our weekly visits to the studio as well as the beautiful artwork that was created during my daughters time at the studio.

The truth of this review can be found with Cook County Court house. Case number 232628.I would avoid this place at all cost and NEVER ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO BE THERE UNSUPERVISED! There is something seriously strange going on with the people who own this business.We did work for this place, and did a fabulous job. We showed up on a specific day that the owner asked for and it rained the night before so the cracks were damp, but we did grind out all cracks and sealed the driveway. We explained to the owner we would be back later that day to hot crack fill because the damp cracks would not hold onto the hot crack fill. In in the time of 15 minutes we started receiving text messages from owner who we literally just left.In a matter of 4 hours we received 27 text messages and 9 phone calls asking us when we would return. Think about that 27 text messages and 9 phone calls in a 4 hour window, that is insanity. We explained every time we would be back that day. At first we thought this was a joke but it got real strange when the son started calling us up and threatening us just after 30 minutes of leaving the owners house.We did show back up at 4:30 pm the same day and the owner came out and told us what a great job we did. Now here is where the story gets good, while we were completing the job the owner decided to cancel the check and not pay us, even though we were told what a great job we did. We called the police and the owners son begged us not to have his mother (owner) arrested for theft of services and fraud.We had the police come out to file a report and force them to pay or be arrested. Anon the owners son insulted the police officer by telling him in uniform he was not a real cop. As of now a law suit is filed against his mother and now Anon. Michelle Stanley is one of the most reputable, kind and patient human beings I have ever met. She is the best with my child! I recommend her to everyone!

Prairie Art studio is a great place for young artists, such as myself. All of the art projects we do are challenging yet fun to experience. I couldnt have asked for a better opportunity to learn more and grow more as an artist. The person who rated one star does not know the business as well as the students who actually spend time with their teacher and would know if something sketchy was happening. The only thing sketchy here is your review. Thank you for your time and I hope you have as great of a time as I do.

My daughter has been attending art classes here for a couple of years now. She loves the classes, loves the instructor, and has greatly improved as an artist in her time spent studying with PrairieArt Studio. We would and we do highly this business.

Absolutely wonderful place to have your children learn about art, my daughter is so excited for her classes Every week and I was so impressed Im now an adult student!
