We love Michaels! We visit this location a lot to buy materials for work and personal projects. The rewards program is extremely beneficial. We frequently receive discounts for our purchases. The store has a friendly and laid back vibe. The employees are helpful and always take interests in the different projects they help us with. They give great advice. The store is very cleaned and organized.

Definitely one of the best places to hit up on black friday. My sister and I always joke that Michaels is always here for us because they have the best sales, the employees 9/10 times are awesome and helpful. This is a great location, I grew up near by and live further away now but we both still go to this location.

Love this store but I wish it was cheaper.

The young lady that took care of us was very helpful, plus she noticed my husband was a vet, shook his hand and thanked him for his service and gave us a military discount. The store was very neat and clean, I love visiting Michaels it has everything you need for arts, crafts, and flower arrangements.

Havent been to this particular one in a while. Its definitely changed! Isles are switched, actually feels more cluttered then before. They moved the registers, which I guess gave them the extra room. All good but I still say feels a bit cluttered. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that the cashier used a coupon on my purchase that I didnt know there was. (dont frequent hobby stores often) always happy to save some money!!!!!

They dont carry the things they used to. Am disappointed with their choices of what they do carry.

Usually $3 per person and sometimes free - crafts in the back of the store on Saturday mornings at 11am. Good for kids 3 -5 years old.

I really enjoy Michaels. Its pure crafts like Hobby Lobby without the urge to control womens reproductive tract - win-win! Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful.I helped a friend make a memory board for a grad school aging and dying class project. Everything but the pictures was from Michaels - fold-out posterboard, double-sided tape, fancy paper, craft scissors, lettering stickers, etc. She got full points on it.(Everyone else made a PowerPoint, despite the syllabus saying it was to be realistic and to be creative!. Whod want a PowerPoint of their life at their funeral...?)

Moms make it fun and kids will want to help. Get your favorite pictures framed create a special frame to make it your own style. The ideas are all yours so go be creative. Get creative bake a cake and find all kinds of decorations to make it your own have fun .stop in and be creative.

The recent remodel has created a better flow in a store that has an overwhelming amount of sections and items. It is always clean and even during busy holidays the aisles dont get torn apart. The staff is small and if there are a lot of shoppers you WILL wait in line for quite a while (eg. One register only open)

While I absolutely love Michaels over all I have to say that I was less than impressed by this one. Its dark, dank and completely uninviting.

Not a bad place to shop not much customer service need to know what you went. Employees are always friendly but always very busy.

For any of you arts and crafts folks out there, this is the place for you. Lots of materials for any hobby that you can think of. Woodworking, painting, sewing, etc. they have it all for good prices. The only reason for the 4 stars here is because at times that I have been there it has been hard to find someone to help me. They are either in a different section chatting or in the back.

Well organized store with very helpful employees and nice seasonal items on good discount. Without the discount many seasonal items seemed a bit high priced, but you can also use coupons found online. Whatever the craft or holiday decor, Michaels is a solid choice.

Run here for my art supplies and if in need for a ASAP jewelry design Im buying here. Find everything when designing or making something.

This store is very neat. Newly remodeled and reorganized. Looks and smells fresh. Same offerings as others in the same chain.

Always good finds

Very crafty place. Theres a little bit of everything that you need and stuff you could eventually use. Great for a DIY person for decorating or projects. Great for things to give kids something to do, model rockets, cars, clay, paints of all sorts, and textiles.

A friendly staff thats always so helpful when I go in there. As someone who draws for a hobby, its great to have a handful of people guide you through the complex and wide array of tools and really make me want to come back should I need any supplies to continue my hobby or work on a new project!

Michaels is one of my go-to places to buy any crafting supplies I need (& MANY things I dont need, but buy anyway!). They always have great sales and coupons, & they accept all competitors coupons. Just be aware that you cant use any coupons on items that are marked Everyday Value, even if the coupon says its good on entire purchase, including sale items. Luckily, the Everyday Value items are already priced well, but its still something worth noting. Youre able to use coupons straight from the app, which is very convenient. The same day store pick up option is a HUGE bonus. Another heads up though, you have to pick up your order from the Custom Frame Department (in the very back of the store), & Ive had to wait up to 20 minutes for someone to help me when picking up an order. That isnt always the case, and its definitely not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if you are in a hurry when picking up an order.

The store is a dream come true for any hobbyists, artists, students, innovators, and just about anyone with a creative side! It has sections stocked with items to assist your talents and passions in numerous categories (baking, woodworking, sewing, painting, miniatures, etc.) Its hard to not buy something while youre there since there is such a huge variety of things to get your hands on and start doing like fondue baking sets or canvases and ink paints. They also sell holiday decorations so if youre a big Halloween fan, they get started early at this time of year and have a big selection of animated decor. Its a bit pricey in all fairness, but its worth it to see your creative dreams come to life.

Went there yesterday to buy things for my upcoming wedding and a girl named Michelle helped me. She was fabulous! Very helpful, and very friendly!! Michaels is very lucky to have her as an employee! I definitely will be going back again!

I do find the floral selection vast, canvases to create school projects, colorful stock papers n glitter, stickers n stencils, yarns n needles, frames, wall decor, holiday jewels and more .. I always venture down the art isle to look at the brushes, boards and other stock up items ..

I had a terrible experience at this store the cashiers is very rude and racist I will not ever come to this store again. If you’re black stay away because you will get treated poorly and looked at like your in the wrong place because of the color of your skin. I want to give this store 0 stars.

Really good experience in Orland Park. An employee actually was walking around asking if customers needed help finding things. She(Erika) actually looked to see if more of what I was purchasing was in stock to be sure I had enough. This doesnt happen in a lot of retail stores. Great customer service here.
