Overall it was a fun experience and enjoyed painting our items. I was however disappointed when I picked up my mug. My black and gold mug was Navy blue and gold. When I called to ask if this was normal they said yes sometimes it happens with dark colors. The store did offer for me to drop the mug back off and they would try to reglaze it, but living 40 minutes away its hardly worth my time.

We went to celebrate a birthday, its something different instead of spending your money at the bar. You get to talk, snack, and laugh all while painting pottery. The staff is so helpful, it was a perfect ladies night out!

I want to thank the talented staff who work here! I walked in not really knowing what to expect. Needless to say, my family and I walked out completely satisfied!This gem of a place was highly recommended by several colleagues in my office when I asked for recommendations on different ideas to expose my young, middle school age children to...something besides video games and television and a family event due to Covid-19’s distancing.We were welcomed and were offered many options that set us up for fun and laughter at ourselves and each other during the process of our creations. The joy of watching my family become creative and thoughtfulness was just what we needed to regain our sense of family...even for a couple hours!!Thanks again, guys! You’re very good at what you do. And the memories we now have in our home will last a lifetime... Colleagues were spot on. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time here with my nieces making Mothers Day gifts. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Lots of practical and fun paintable items to choose from and prices were reasonable. We had plenty of paint, brushes, stencils etc to choose from and had a nice time together on a rainy day. Highly recommend. The kids absolutely loved it! Will definitely go back.

This is my favorite pottery place in town. My kids and I have made many pieces over the years and always been happy. They have a nice selection of pottery. We have a great time painting our pieces. We leave the piece (s) there for them to fire. Once fired, they give us a call and we go back to pick it up. Ive made everything from birthday plates for each of my kids to yearly holiday ornaments. I havent done a party at this location, but I always think it would be great fun!

Great time. We went with our Girl Scout troop but plan to go back on our own soon.

A great way to spend an afternoon with the family or a just a random date night. Its a little expensive, but weve done this a few times and have never regretted it.

The staff was very friendly and so helpful during our first visit. We took my niece here for her 7th b-day and let her pick out 2 items to paint. The cost was reasonable considering it is a paint at your own pace type of facility. Definitely will be going back in the future!

My family and I love painting at That Pottery Place! We have visited many times over the last 19 years and love the experience we have each time. The staff is helpful, the pottery choices are plentiful, and there are many choices of colors. We have painted pieces for fundraisers, my daughters have had their Girl Scouts field trips there and we have painted many gifts for relatives. We have also tried the fused glass to make nightlights and necklaces. The mosaics are great for a take home same day project. We love bringing in our friends, food & beverages for an Adult night out.

It was relaxing to choose a pottery piece and paint it. There were many colors and samples for inspiration.

I scheduled to have my best friends bachelorette party start at the pottery place. We had so much fun, we were able to bring our own wine and drinks and get creative while making gifts for our bride. The staff were friendly and helped the girls with their designs. You dont need to be an artist to do it, they gave us the basics and had plenty of tools for us to make cute patterns on our pieces. We didnt have a time limit so we could take our time painting, drinking, and chatting. I want to come back on a date or with my family so they can have fun painting too. They have functional pieces for adults and cute stuff for kids too!

Great place to let your artistic side free!

I had a very great time today but as i was taking my newly painted plate to the desk two of youre workers starting laughing at it and said that it didnt go together. it was my birthday and that kind of ruined my experince. it was around 3 or 4 and it wasnt the workers it was there frinds i think? im very sure it was probly there shift next. but just know i am very displeased and will let lots of people know that the workers are not very kind. very sad that this happened. but the ladies that were actually working were wonderful. one had a :styles 1987: t shirt on and had black hair thats who made the comment. i thought my plate was pretty!!

Took my daughter here to spend the afternoon together painting and hanging out. It was fun but can get pricey
