Stopped by to watch the premiere of the Waking Bear video Bigfoot. It was a great short film, loved the emotive feel created by the actor portraying the title creature. I would recommend this video for anyone who has ever felt the angst of not being loved, or being in the in crowd. The facility was good, clean and well kept. Ive been to theatrical performances there in the past, most recently Godspell a couple of years ago.
This place is so great to show art or as a student to view art. The hours are flexible and the staff is very nice and are open to any questions I have. I feel lucky to attend a school with such a unique and beautiful sharing space!
The facility is not the best for those that need ADA access. There is only one H/C parking spot next to the theater. One parking area has zero H/C spot and there is no access to the sidewalk without going over a small bump. The parking on the other side of the building has H/C spaces, however it is the loading dock side of the building and there is no sidewalk around to the front entrance. There might be a more secure way around to the entrance, but there is absolutely no sign age for direction.Once inside the theater, you have the choice of taking the elevator to the top of the back of the theater and sitting there. The other option is to have a worker take you around one side through the side door, toward the front of the theater. There is enough room for 2 wheelchairs/scooters. There is only one row with five seats that you do not have to climb stairs to get to them. The worker has to put in a code to let you through the last door, so you cant do this on your own.All that said, it is a beautiful theater and the seating is comfortable.
The Minnaert Center is a wonderful venue offering outstanding shows. Ticket prices are usually very affordable. They use open seating, so arrive early for the best seat. (Honestly, the view is fine from anywhere in the house, though.)
We used the Center for a conference. Its a nice building with a great auditorium.
I love this place! Spscc finds great talent for their speaker series. Also saw a play here recently, beautiful lighting and sets, arena style seating
Nice performing arts center! The seating is comfortable. This is an excellent venue for dance recitals and theater!
Great building with many rehearsal spaces and practice rooms. The layout can be confusing at first.
Beautiful venue for a concert, the acoustics are great. Parking is easy and seems plentiful. There may not be a bad seat in terms of seeing the stage, but the seats themselves are terrible. Too tight and small and hard to sit on. Even with the intermission to give us some respite, we dreaded getting back in our seats. Too bad.
Really nice auditorium. No bad seats and there each seat has enough room. Plenty of parking.
Very nice. Good acoustics
My grand daughter debuted he ballet here today, fabulous.
He gave me the best hassle free price for all my rare coins. Its hard to find a better price anywhere else.
Absolutely love this little 500 seat venue. Theres not a bad seat in the entire place!!
What a good place to go to for any event.
I volunteer there and it is spacious, clean and easy to hear the performances.
