Canterbury Voices is an OUTSTANDING choral organization that displays nothing but beautiful music, true professionalism, and an incredible music education experience. Their vision is to continually offer artistic and educational experiences of the highest quality each year making a positive impact on our community, and they do just that even in the year 2020 as we deal with a pandemic and so much more in our world. Every choir director is engaging, sophisticated, and each bring years of hands on experience making them perfect for this role. This sophistication also streams to the top of the Canterbury Voices. The Administration staff is absolutely wonderful.Kind, welcoming, involved, hard working, coming with their own music education background, they are willing to go above and beyond to help their singers, I could go on and on. They also handle conflict with great professionalism, consideration, and with complete regard to every detail. This organization truly works as a TEAM, which is what makes them so great at what they do. I have nothing but great things to say about the Canterbury Voices!

Without a doubt Canterbury Youth Voices is one of the best youth choirs in Oklahoma. They have FIRST CLASS directors across the city, they are professional, great with the youth, inspiring and just all around good people. This group is very structured, giving them the maximum amount of time to work on their music each week. The kids understand when they come into the room it’s “game on” and they go right to work. I am a proud parent to see the exceptional product they turn out at each and every concert. I thank-all of the hardworking directors, assistants andManagement at Canterbury. Best of the best youth singers, well behaved, sharp looking and fun! Absolutely no complaints and I never hear any parent complaints!!

Canterbury Youth Voices is on the top youth choirs. I have enjoyed their performances for past several years. The directors, teachers, and administrators do an outstanding job! CYV definitely is a wonderful addition to the arts program in our great community.

Very appreciative of Canterbury Voices. It is a wonderful choral group and we look forward to their performances every year. It has become a wonderful family tradition to enjoy their Christmas performances and make a special holiday memory. Not only is it wonderful entertainment but it also provides a wonderful education opportunity for youth through the Canterbury Youth Voices Prog ram.Very grateful to have such a wonderful organization as part of the Arts community in OKC.

Canterbury Voices is a vital addition to the thriving arts community in Oklahoma City. They present a wide variety or choral literature and enrich the community as a large symphonic choir!

Canterbury Voices is an amazing choral music group and our community is lucky to have them. In additional to an incredible adult choir, the Canterbury Youth Voices provides a HUGE cultural opportunity for kids in the metro who are interested in singing and performing at a professional level. The youth choir is lead by two talented conductors, and the programs manager has secured numerous opportunities to perform across the state as well as a D-Day memorial trip to France in 2020. Oklahoma is fortunate to have this high caliber group in our state!

I had the privilege to hear Canterbury combine with the OKC Philharmonic for an amazing performance! We are very blessed to have an organization of this quality in OKC.

I hadnt attended a Canterbury concert in a number of years but saw them recently as additional voices in the Lyric Theatre production of Titanic; which I loved. I decided to attend Canterburys first concert of the season which featured music of Duke Ellington. I thought this was different from the Canterbury of years gone by and was intrigued. I really enjoyed the concert and the jazz element they presented with the Oklahoma City Jazz orchestra. I appreciate the inclusion of different arts councils working together to bring interesting artistic works to OKC. Good job!

Our child has been singing with Canterbury for 5 years! This is a wonderful organization with dedicated teachers, staff and directors. Their love for the kids shines through at every performance and every rehearsal. We treasure our friends we’ve made and look forward to many more years singing!!

Canterbury Youth Voices has been a great experience for my child! It is great community for any young singer to grow in their singing abilities! We love our CYV family!

This place discriminated towards nursing mothers. A nursing mother who belonged to the choir was actually kicked out for nursing pre concert. Nursing is a legal and protected right in all 50 states so what they did was illegal, wrong, and discriminatory. I’m waiting for an official apology and until then I suggest everyone stand up against these illegal and discriminatory tactics. It’s 2020, women should have to hide in order to feed their babies.

I participated in Canterbury in grade school and in high school. Loved it! Wanting and planning to put my children in the youth chorale and perhaps join the adult chorus myself
