Tucked away behind a large church, this museums outside is unassuming. Walking in though you are transported into a beautiful journey of art and history. This museum offers porcelain pieces from all over the world dating from the 1800s until today. They have a huge variety of art styles and genres, organized in a wonderful way that showcases each topic wonderfully. Phyllis was our tour guide and took the time to explain each display case and the artists background and style. She went out of her way to go into the intricacies of some artists choice and how each piece was made. My favorite part had to be the dish section, as they had a lovely selection of tea cups and saucers. It really is a wonderful stop for anyone who enjoys art. There are very delicate pieces on display, so of you are going to bring kids, make sure you keep them close!
Surprisingly beautiful collection of art from modern to antique from all over the world. It seems not much is known about this location or what it holds from a public standpoint as professional artists and students are well aware of this museum. We had a very educational tour from Phillis of whom I reccomend speaking to when looking at the art. She was of great help and made the visit so much more enjoyable. If you are looking for something to do on any day off, check this place out. Its an easy walk through and you will leave more educated about ceramics. This museum has been around for 50 years and they hold classes by well experienced teachers. Hope you enjoy this hidden gem!
