I love the Michaels stores. But this one seemed to not have a holiday atmosphere. Maybe its the pandemic, but I had this feeling that I was in a store, in which this was a self-help warehouse. 1 employee greeted me when I came in, but it was downhill from there. Melancholy is the word that comes to mind, to this customer. Now, the good news is that I found what I needed!

I love this place. Its always super organized and clean. The cachiers are very helpful and the price are not bad at all.

Congratulations. After 4 years of shopping, Michaels has managed to provide the worst shopping experience. (1) When I entered, an employee said I could shop online in my car since I entered w/o a mask. I accidently left mine at home. They sell masks at the front counter AND provide ones for free. Rather than try to make a sale or assist, I was told to leave. (2) After being given a mask: I shop for Professional 3 paint. Michaels policy is that an associate needs to be present while you shop. The lady tapped her foot while I shopped for four colors. Four. She then grabbed all the paints and said shell hold them at the counter. I decided to purchase them and continue shopping. (3) I make a few selections on paint brushes, and place them in the shopping basket. Another employee looks at me and subliminally accuses me of stealing. I literally just made a purchase and went back to continue shopping so I could make another purchase. I respond that Im not going to steal. (4) She turns to another employee directly behind me and says rude things. I turn to her and asks if I offended her, and if so, to please talk to me. She then lies and said she was talking about another customer. (5) If that was true, employees should not be bashing customers. Congratulations. Four years of shopping. I have spent more money at that location than any other art store combined. You have succeeded in providing the worst shopping experience. Only ONE associate was nice. Shes the reason for the second star.

This store is quite large! A helpful employee directed me to what I needed. Grabbed some halloween miniatures, and some clay to make pumpkins. Only reason I cant give 5 stars is due to the high prices at Michaels. Other than that, this store is fantastic!

Well this place seems a bit more expensive compared to hobby lobby. The bead selection pricing is a bit confusing and their coupon was hard to find. Still a good place to shop

Great selection. However they could stand to spend a little extra time merchandising the shelves properly in many areas. Some sections were chaos. Good experience overall though.

It was very warm in there today. The staff was nice and friendly.

The cashier short changed me by over $10 and all because she was distracted and not focused on her customer, either that or she was deliberately trying to steal money from me. I had a witness and when I kindly brought it to her attention she immediately started raising her voice at me. Then she tries to dismiss me by saying she cant open the register. Then she tries to dismiss me by saying the only way I can prove Im right is if she counts the register which I told her to go right ahead. Finally the manager shows up and shes just as dismissive, saying theyre very tired. Ive been in customer service my whole life and have worked even longer hours than usual during the pandemic due to being deemed essential so while I can empathize to an extent ultimately their handling of this matter was entirely unprofessional and inadequate. Highly dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted by this place.

They have a better pen and ink section that HL. They should up their paper game.

Looking for flowers for a grave, too expensive for outdoor use

Michaels is an excellent hobby shop that seems to have he supplies necessary for just about every craft you can think of. They have yarn, paint, wood, leather, paper, fake flowers, scrapbooks, picture frames, models, toys, rocks, vases, science kits, journals, etc. They even have a cosplay material stand! Their supplies also tend to have a nice range of prices, so you can grab entry level equipment or the expensive quality gear.My one complaint is that items are often in more than one isle, but it seems to be due to the blurred lines between craft hobbies. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the checkout lines moves pretty quick. They give teacher discounts and have a loyalty reward program.

I decorate cakes & they have an entire aisle for that. Except there was only one person working the checkout & the line was crazy long & slow so I put my items back & went to Hobby Lobby

Angelica was amazing! I called to see if she could check on the selection of Christmas Villages left and she went to check for me and saved them for me until I got there. I was really impressed with her service and willingness to help. She went above and beyond to help and I am very grateful for her service. This is a big store to always feel like they dont have much of anything I need. Even at Christmas time I felt like there was so little that was priced fairly and ended up doing the majority of my shopping at Hobby Lobby.

Everything completely disorganized and no one acknowledge me but only acknowledge my husband. In all, I found what I needed. Just needed to work hard finding it.

Great deal on candles, however after unloading them in my truck I asked the cashier for some hand sanitizer & she said she didnt have any at the register nor did she have any personal hand sanitizer.. Luckily the manager come around the corner & handed me a big bottle of sanitizer. A big thank you to the store manager. Other than that staff was very nice & helpful.

Great store for crafts, art, and school projects. Has a much better selection of gems and stones for jewelry making or for whatever then Hobby Lobby does. They are fairly similar in price as most other stores that carry some of the same items but with a bigger and better selection. Since the store itself is not extremely big, you can get in and out pretty quickly if you need to. *Always can find a 40% off coupon online to use in the store and another one prints at the bottom of your receipt for next time.

Well, there were about 45 cars in Michaels today. No one was being distant and hardly anyone had masks in, most that did had them on wrong. Maybe it was the time of day, but I left, too crowded.

I love this location. They just need to have more associates on the floor to help customers or at least a customer help button by the scanners. The scanners are a great idea. They help a lot but the stores need to make sure they are working everyday.

I feel that Michaels has reduced their stock too much, but I can usually find the odds and ends that Im unable to get at other craft stores.

I love this Michaels! Every time I go in I am greeted with a smile. I asked for help finding an item. The lady who helped me didnt just tell me which aisle, she stopped what she was doing and took me directly to what I needed. Always helpful and so friendly! The store is neat and clean, nice wide aisles, just perfect!

I love michaels usually their prices are way better than hobby lobby and they always have a 40% off coupon plus you can use competitor coupons. Some items are a bit high. You can watch for a sale since they have sales all the time if your wanting a cheaper price on a specific item. This store is decent not the best assortment or choices but im still glad its here since there is not another one close. Its very clean and organized (not the clearance isle though its a mess) love michaels

All I wanted to know is if the felting needles were in stock because it didnt say so online, and they kept me on hold for an hour. I knew they didnt forget about me, because I could hear them checking back into my line. I think I was just being ignored.

Wish they would have had another wheelchair or riding cart as the one they had was in use, but the store was clean and the employees were helpful, helping me find things and even helping save money!

I go in here to buy thumbtacks and other practical items.I loathe all things crafty, and the potpourri/artificial flower crowd likely loathes me in turn.But when you need something basic, its not bad.Staff is generally friendly and helpful, but that varies from employee to employee.

This micheals location is one of the best in okc, several michaels have closed over the years and this one had stood with all that! Lots of art supplies and storage supplies for studios, you can find just about everything you need AND use a coupon! (If it’s not on sale,lol) but regardless, it’s worth it to stop by if your in the area, (instead of going to a hobby lobby )

If youre looking for an alternative to Hobby Lobby its ok, I guess. I visited this store late September and you can tell by all of the empty floor space theyre either getting ready for all things Xmas, or cutting back on floor stock. As an amateur artist they do carry a few more paints and other supplies their previously mentioned competition doesnt offer.

Cashier seemed very short, probably because she was the only one ringing people out, couldnt find anybody in the store to help, need more staff

Love Michaels. They are having s sell on most all Summer items. I didnt know that they had kids Summer fun. I bought two water blast guns for my grandsons. We will annihilate their father in the pool tomorrow. This was an add on to the purchase I already made. Michaels has so much more than I ever remembered!

Went to look for dried flowers and was not sure what would look good in my boyfriends vase at his office. The people at the Michaels u go to on May Ave in Oklahoma City, OK are very friendly and helped me to find some mixed flowers that looked great together. When I put them in the vase, the colors were amazing with the colors in the vase. I called Michaels and spoke to the gal that helped me that very day to thank her for all her help and let her know they looked beautiful plus, my boyfriend loved them.

I do a lot of crafts and this is one of my go to places for supplies. The staff changes a lot, and the items are more pricey compared to Hobby Lobby...but, the store is clean, has clear pricing labels most of the time and I love those 50% discount coupons for one regular priced item...

Art and craft supplies have got ridiculously expensive. Michaels definitely goes with this trend. Only reasonable if you use coupons and sales.

I was there on 5/9/20 for a few hours. Not only did no one ask if I needed any help finding anything but when I finally found someone she told me to, Look it up online. The whole experience was very disappointing.
