Great park and perfect location for FIX WEST TEXAS that held a CAT spay/neuter clinic at the park. Great Group doing wonderful work. Poor cats are at the mercy of coyotes, foxes, dogs, other cats and hateful people. Fix West Texas is slowing the population of feral cats by neutering and returning the cats back to their territory.If you have a pet, please for the animals sake keep them safe, get them neutered and keep them indoors!

Clean park with lots of fun equipment! My 3 year old loved it and those slides are HUGE!

Lots of open green space for people to enjoy

I was there for workout and getting repetitions for my workout so i dont loose my consistency on what i work on.

This is one of the best parks in terms of how much green grass and open area with trees. Great for taking your dog and letting them run loose for a bit. Tons of space for games with the family, the park is great they have two one of them focuses on the little kids and the other focuses on the 6 year old and up. If your new to the area this park is a great place to visit.

Great park. I used to spend a lot of time there in my youth playing basketball and football with some friends. I live in Midland now and it had been years since I visited this park. About a year ago my son was invited to play academy soccer with a group of kids in Odessa and we had our first practice at the parks soccer fields. When I was younger, these soccer fields were practically dirt with lines painted on them. I arrived assuming the worse and I was pleasantly surprised to see the fields in really good shape. It was impressive. We were just there again last week and the fields are still in excellent shape. Kudos to the city of Odessa and anyone else who helps maintain this park, especially the soccer fields. Midland has a lot of work to do as our fields look like a goat patch.

This is a very good park for kids to play at!!I enjoy that they have a whole giant canopy picnic area. There are toys for children, toddlers, and swings for babies.They have basketball courts, fields to play in, a baseball field, and a pool for summertime!!The park is very well taken care of on the playground area.

My 2 yr old grandson has so much fun at this park.. He.loves it

This park has been around for quite some time. Its nice to see it still looking good and even improved.

If you have kids, this a good place to take them, they can play and run without any problems. If youre looking to play basketball, the courts are not the best but there not bad, the people that play there are also nice and competitive, dont be afraid to join in a game

Have always been to floyd gwin park. Grew up here. Was a great park during its day. Looks cleaner now. BUT, the ladies bathroom needs a light!!!

I have live across the street from the park for 32 years I have enjoyed the changes they have done to the park

Great park. 2 different playgrounds. Volley ball, basketball, baseball fields you name it..

During baseball games absolutely no parking if you not super early getting there.

Its a nice spot to take the fam or to just rethink your marriage haha

This was our 1st time going to this pool and we absolutely loved it we didnt know we could bring outside food so we will next time and the kids loved the rockwall the staff was nice to pool isnt crouded there was a good amount of people there and you arent squished or trying to get by others like other pools

Needs more toys i think its just not the same in my childhood. I remember the tire you could sit on it and swing around on it. Oh and the bridge you could walk a cross the castle that you could run around and hide

This park has been Around for quite some time. This is a good place to walk, take the kids to play, host birthday party s, cincenetas, play volleyball, softball, and there is also a pool.

Its nice but keep a close eye on your kids so they dont get hurt. the bigger kids dont care and are careless

Like how there is a playground for little children and another area for older ones. Would have given full 5 if their restrooms were open so my children could spend more time playing.

Would have given a 5 if it wasnt for teenagers playing bad music and hangout around the kid ages 2 to 5 area. But when there just kids there its a awesome park

Enjoy our picnic lunches there even though there are NO tables through out the park. They have just vanished.

Often play soccer here, love the grass, hardly any holes in the ground, the only bummer is theres not much light to play late.

The picnic area was filthy. I did like the Fort for the older children & the one for the smaller kids.

Kids had a blast swimming at the Floyd Gwin Park swimming pool.

Also great park with lots of trees, goals, etc.

We were to do some filming. There were a lot of people there.
