One of our favorite vacation spots in California! The sunsets in Oceanside are absolutely stunning, with the price adding some nice context for photos. Whether you are on the first floor or the highest floor, the ocean-facing units all have beautiful views.I personally prefer the units on the ground level because of the walk-out access to the beach, but if you prefer a little more privacy, I can also recommend the corner units on the upper floor with the panoramic balconies.The fixtures and features are updated regularly and the rooms capture the relaxed atmosphere of Oceanside perfectly. Between the king bed and the pullout couches, most rooms comfortable sleep 4 with full kitchen facilities.If you are interested in getting a feel for the local community, there is a lovely street fair every Thursday within easy walking distance. You are also just a short stroll away from local dining options and coffee houses.

This is definitely a place of rest and relaxation also comfortable for business Secure underground parking gated which was very nice the rooms are beautiful regardless where you’re at there is some sort of scenery we had a corner room with a great view of everything going on as well as the ocean how nice is that room with Standard size refrigerator oven dishes microwave coffee maker silverware pots and pans you name it it was very convenient.there are many things to do on the strand as well as looking around town at all the shops and Great places to eat it is one of the places that outdoor dining is a plus the weather was very nice as usual The food was excellent the general public was friendly definitely is a nice place to be even though a lot of places were closed it still was a great Place to spend some time at. I do recommend this place I know I will be returning on my next trip and will be booking my stay at the beach club. Thank you to all of the staff they are wonderful and on top of things.Duke

It was a nice stay staff was on top of keeping a bag and it was right on the beach. The only problem I had was parking there’s no parking they gave me a pass so I had to find a metered spot within blocks which was nearly impossible on a busy weekend so if you leave you can’t find a place to park also there’s no AC so it’s really hot in the summer LOL

Just spent my first week here after purchasing my timeshare. Totally fabulous. Kitchen, living room covered patio. And RIGHT ON THE OCEAN!! I am so happy I purchased here.

Positive: Very misleading ad. Thought we were on the beach. Couldnt even see the beach from our room. Negative: Elevator broke down, had to walk up and down stairs. Pretty tough for 80 year olds.

This resort is the greatest - we had a beach frontpatio where we could sit outside and view the oceanwaves and see the sunset. The office personal wasthe best ! Our plane was late so we arrived at 1:30 amand Tyrone helped us find our room. We appreciatesomeone in the office 24/7. The Oceanside pier was nearby.

The parking situation needs to be improved! The spaces are way too small for modern cars. There was landscape improvements being made to the front entrance, this not only added to the bad parking situation, there were other more important priorities that should be addressed before landscaping! Parking and bathroom improvements are at the top of the list!

I didnt like the fact that the cleaning crew was in our room, while we were out before checkout time.

Steps from the beach and Oceanside pier with quite comfy rooms and cheerful staff. Not all rooms have sea view but accessibility is fantastic. Parking, bikes and beach equipment are offered at no excess price!

Southern California Beach Club is an amazing place! Its home away from home but with a beautiful beach front. The staff here is great...from check in to the time we leave.... they meet your every need with a smile. The property is so well kept and so is the beach area. We love it!!!

This hotel was very clean very pretty and staff was very very nice . I liked that they had beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use . They were doing some remodeling on the front entrance that was inconvenient but understandable . Still an excellent place to stay I would love to come back again .

The faciility is under renovations for compliance to ADA. Wait until that is finished and your stay will be much better.

Our favorite location on the California coast--the BEST beach access! I own two weeks in September and have gone there since the late 80s. Cant be beat in my opinion. Excellent staff at your service 24/7. My only complaint, the maintenance fees that have gone up yearly.

This is an older gem in Oceanside, but man was it clean. The staff is excellent and very helpful. This place is right on the beach and next to the pier. I would highly recommend giving this resort a shot.

I loved staying here can’t get any closer to the beach perfect for traveling family’s but if u have a large vehicle park on street cause garage is way to small for large cars u will damage your vehicle but other then that the property is amazing and staff goes above and beyond to make u happy

The perfect place for a Southern California Surfing vacation. Located right on the beach just steps from the pier. Consistent clean waves every day and a friendly lineup made it perfect for traveling surfers. Check out Whitlock Surf Shop for great boards to rent and make sure you stop by the Surf Museum- you’ll be happy you did!

The location was right on the beach and very near the tourist area of the city. Great!

We arrived the day after we were due to check in into our regular yearly week. As soon as we entered the unit there was an overwhelming and stifling smell of what seemed to be fresh paint, bleach, and formaldehyde. The slider doors and all the windows were open, which was unusual because we have stayed there 3 times before and they were closed upon our arrival. When our eyes started tearing and we began coughing we called the front desk to find out what was going on. We were told that the room had been painted that weekend (we arrived on Monday). I told the front desk that we could not stay in that room. Someone else called up to our room and told us that it had not been painted and it just had to air out. I told her to come up to the room and then tell me that there was no chemical smell. Nicole, who I believe is the front desk manager, and the Housekeeping Manager came up with bags of charcoal to filter the smell. There were already bags of charcoal in the room that were unable to absorb the smell. We went outside on the beautiful balcony, but the smell was so strong it was overwhelming on the balcony also. The Housekeeping Manager told us that it was new furniture and the only way to get rid of the smell was time, so the Beach Club was aware that there was a problem before we arrived. When we asked for another unit, (it was obvious that we were in distress because our eyes were tearing, our noses were running, and we were coughing), Nicole told us they were at full capacity and there were no other rooms available. We decided to just drive home. The conditions in the unit were unbearable for us. Then Nicole said the only thing available was unit 204. We had paid for 308, a top floor with a huge balcony and a portal window in the bedroom.. The room they gave us was on the 2nd floor with a lot of noise coming from above our unit. We were awakened every night by loud machinery noises at about 2am. AND the room had that terrible chemical smell, not as strong as 308. I had unpacked and put my clothes into the drawers. The next day the chemical smell was too strong on my clothes. I had to ask for hangers from the front desk and hang up my clothes and put the clothes that could not be hung up back into the suitcase. We had to practically live out of our suitcase. We asked to speak to Julie but every time we asked we were told she was not in. We asked several times for her email but were always told that they could not find her business card and they didnt know her email. Before we left we were informed that the room had been painted, that new carpeting had been installed, and that the furniture had just been unpacked in the room before we arrived. We never let anything ruin our vacation, because we have very limited vacation time, but this really was a nightmare. No one could tell me the manufacturer of the furniture, or the composition of the furniture or the carpet, or the type of paint that was used. It has been my experience that all 3 of those things come with warnings to air the area out before occupying the area. When we purchased our unit we had planned on many happy vacations at the Beach Club with family and friends, but at this point I cannot recommend this resort.

Great place for a little vacation. It is right on the beach by the Oceanside pier. Free parking is provided for 1 vehicle, which is great since it is all parking meters around the area.

Great location. Staff is very friendly. Very clean. You can walk to beach or restaurants. And the only place I stay at in oceanside if condo is available. And be back again in 4days lol.

Nice place. Walk right out to the beach. You can check out bicycles, chairs and umbrellas. Would have given 5 stars if not for the kids running on the fourth floor sundeck. We were on the third floor, sounded like a herd of elephants above us. Shouldnt allow kids on fourth floor.

We love staying here. Its right on the ocean. Just walk out and you are on the beach. At night you can sleep with the sounds of the ocean waves. Plus, walking distance to the pier and local city shops and activities.

Favorite place to stay at in Oceanside, my family have been going since my mother was young. They have various sized rooms for you to choose from, as well different amenities (ex. Free WiFi, hot tub, bikes and beach equipment for rent, and parking on the lower level). The staff are friendly and willing to help if you have a question or need something.

Great value for the money. I couldnt beat it. Yes, parking is good, but if you have slightly bigger SUV this WILL GIVE it a challenge. Renovation would duo Murray bless to this place. Again, location and staff as well as bang-for-your-back, this place shines.

Just checked in and we are very pleased so far.

Our check in was Sunday at 5pm for our week stay and they informed us that it room wasnt ready so we had to wait to check in. When we finally got the key to our room it smelled heavily of fragrance and we had to open all the windows in order to breath!There were lots of homeless all around. We had a corner room and a great view of all the transients doing their drugs hiding under an umbrella. I wasnt impressed, theres no pool, and the maid service only came one time in a week, yet we still had a daily resort fee! Nice that the beach is right across the street, and it was nice to hear the waves, but I will never go back there again!I reached out and e mailed the resort last week after they replied to my review and I still have not heard from them. Not surprising after the stay we had there.

Stayed here with a friend of mine down from Sonoma. What a wonderful time we had. The staff turned us on to a couple of cool local places that even I, a resident of Oceanside for over a year, hadnt known about. The room was clean and comfortable. I can hardly wait for my next visit.

This Place is a Place to unwind and just relax. The view from the balcony is so serene and listening to the waves is a plus for sleeping.

We were very pleased with our experience at Best Western in Oceanside. Not only were the location and amenities top notch but the staff was courteous and super helpful. The staff member that helped us the most was Sandra. She was very knowledgeable about the hotel and the local attractions. We especially enjoyed the continental breakfast

Was told we’d have an ocean view and wasn’t given one upon check in...room was thrashed and very dirty so we had to wait a few hours before we could come back..parking space was very small. After the room was cleaned, the beds were not very comfortable. The price was a lot less than most beachfront hotels/condos but we weren’t impressed.

Unfortunately, the staff was not able to accommodate my request for an Oceanside room...but they provided the cutest, most comfortable upstairs/downstairs apartment type lodging! This place is right on the beach very nice place to stay the rooms are very clean the staff is very friendly and they do also have a very nice size 2 bedroom. You have great views of the ocean from every spot and they also have balconies and BBQs lots of things to do they also have chocolate chip cookies and stuff on Sunday for when you check in. The one negative thing I guess I can say is I dont believe this classifies as a resort and there should not be any Resort fees

No air conditioning...ocean view is not necessarily a beach view. Staff is very pleasant. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Parking garage is really hard to get into, and there is another option to park on the street, but its difficult to find a spot at the times.
