Visited and walked with my wife, we love parks... They should put more path lights in for night time walks. Nothing too bright, just soft lights so that the walking paths are a little more lit up.

Scoville Park is the coolest corner in downtown Oak Park by the Lake and Oak Park Ave. it has walking and running tracks, library, seating chairs, corner cafes! It holds seasonal events and concerts throughout the year!

Well laid out park adjacent to the Oak Park Library, with benches, paved paths, tennis courts, large grassy areas and restrooms. Plenty of sunny and shady spaces. When I visited, the restrooms and wi-fi access(usually available throughout the park ?) were unavailable due to the pandemic, and parking was somewhat restricted due to street construction on Oak Park Avenue.

They have loads of events in summer and pets are welcome here but with leash. My pet dog loves to visit this park and play around on the sloping lawns! :)

A needed park to get away from the suburban cityscape. Large field for children and pets, located right next to the local library. Theres also a historical monument to the local veterans of world war 1. You can tell the locals here respect and take pride in their park just from the cleanliness and upkeep.

This is a large park near the busy retail area (shops, trinkets, ice cream, dinner, lunch, etc.) of Lake St. and Oak Park Ave.. The main area is a large lawn for frisbee, picnics, gathers, and outdoor concerts in summer. The send area at the center is a large WWI statue with many benches for relaxing. The third area is the tennis courts. Forth and finally is the newly updated small tot park which has the typical features including a sand box. This park can be quite busy on nice summer weekend.

Its a nice area to hang out or play after getting ice cream or coffee. There are several pokestops and a gym for those that are still playing Pokemon Go. They also have nice mini concerts during the summer. And if it gets too hot just check out a book at the library next door. Its very close to transit (green line Oak Park stop a few blocks away and Pace bus stops.)

A fun little park. Lots of fun things for kids to run around and climb on. Worked well for younger aged children with low stairs and smaller slides, as well as, some mini climbing walls and larger sliders for the 5+ years group. Also a large area of benches for the weary parent groups.
